Beautiful Wat with taro plots and fish ponds. Interesting layout for this Wat. Larger street side complex that has Wat, Chedi, refreshments, taro plots and an interesting fish pond with king kong catfish! Buy a bag of fish food for 10 B and feed these voracious critters. Fun for kids Handicap doable. Restrooms Peaceful Recommended , especially with kids but...............keep an eye on them when feeding those monster fish😂.

Worth seeing. The temple has a nice lake with lotus flowers and interesting pavilions and “romantic” corners. There is a bamboo walk across the lake. This temple is unique in Chiang Ma. You can also see funny statues like a skeleton paying respect to the Buddha and a strange animal with five eyes. Near the Chedi there are big stone balls, some of them are covered with gold leaves.

More than meets the eye from what is seen from the front. One needs to go into the back water garden area where there's a good sized pond with voracious carp! Surrounded by spots to feed the fish in a beautiful, tranquil setting -- super lush. Can buy fish kibble for 10 baht. A nice monk showed me a nice sitting area too. Cool spot.

Go for sunrise. It was very quiet and peaceful. They have fish food available to feed fish in the pond for a nominal fee. Opens at 4am and we were unsure when the other nearby temples opened so we went to this one first.

I visited this temple during the Loy Kratong period and it was still a nice place to visit despite the many other visitors and tourists. There are a few buildings you can enter and an area with a pond where you can feed the fish. There's also bamboo bridge that goes across the pond. There's quite a few things to see and learn in this temple if you take time to observe.

There is a pond were you can feed the fishes. You can take the food for free but a donation of 10 baht is appreciated

At the back of the temple, there is a lake with very large catfish. It really is the bets placed to sit and relax in the shade for as long as you like. The large face sculpture and the row of round stones are well worth a photo. Also, the temple is only a couple of hundred metres from Nu Nu Nini,s Cafe which is opposite the night food market. Great coffee there.

Wonderful temple close to South gate. We were warm welcome by a monk. A place not only to snap also to come down and find yourself.

We went to this temple in the morning and had the whole place to ourselves. A monk came to chat to us and said good morning. There is a lovely bamboo bridge by a lake full of catfish (?). You can feed them for a donation of 10 baht, watch out for the fearless birds though! A wonderful way to spend the morning.

There is much to admire at this wat even though it's not high up on the tourists map. The gardens are unique with lots of vintage agricultural tools on display. There is a prominent ancient stupa that has been well preserved and a huge fish pond with lotus, and bamboo boardwalks. If your on a walking temple tour of old Chiang Mai, this should be a destination as there are several famous and marvelous temples near by in all directions.

Whike I was waiting for my gf to go to the toilet, a monk approached me and asked me if I ever meditated. I told him I did but I stopped because if I let it go too much, I think about death and so I stop meditating. He said death is not scary once you understand what it is. And the body is impermanent. He then told me he was 75, he asked me how old I was and where I came from. I said pattaya, it never came to my mind to say Italy ;) I am writing this just because it was all in Thai language :)

Nice peaceful temple just off the main road running through Chiang Mai old town. One of many, but well worth stepping in for a short while to wander around.

I loved this temple! Just wandered in on a whim and had a great time walking around the serene garden. I especially love old structures, like the one here as well!

Beautiful wat with a pond full of catfish. You can feed them for a small fee. Great spot to walk around.

Jan 2022 was very quiet. 10BHT to feed the catfish was nice. Just walked in without fee. Not a heavily visited place. The main building doesn't allow shoes so wear socks if thats an issue. 60 minutes is enough.

The great feature of this place is the large pond at the rear of the Temple. The pond is divided into two area via a springy bamboo bridge running down the middle with fish & lilly pond on one side. For 10Bht you can buy fish feed and watch the feeding frenzy of Catfish when you cast onto the water.

Very beautiful Temple with a nice and quiet fish pond at the back. You also have the opportunity to chat with a monk during the day.

The place is nice and quiet. The only bad thing was the local guy trying to make me buy somr shirts or book a tour again... At least they could avoid doing that directly in the temple area, there were even monks around.

White laces of its Temple is delicate and beautiful! All around is white! You can take a lot of nice pictures. Also you can see a big figure of indian God Ganesha, which is situated in a golden temple-museum

A nice temple with a beautiful pond and a bamboo bridge. This is a very peaceful, quiet, meditative place without crowds of tourists. And the entrance is free.

Scenery here is beautiful. We stumbled on this and has some very interesting qualities. The walk across the bamboo bridge is scary but nice. Green leafs in water on one side and water on the other side. Great place for pictures! There are places to sit and relax as well that overlooks the water and to cool down. We saw a sign for certain times dedicated to chatting and talking with monks. There are also bricks on a table, and with a voluntary small donation in box, you can write a message on it which is set aside to later used for construction, neat! Even if it’s not to see the temples, we enjoyed walking and taking a stroll through here!
