Wat Si Koet

Tourist attraction Buddhist temple Place of worship

👍👍 Best massage I have had yet in Thailand! My masseuse was very precise and firm and was clearly very experienced. This massage is geared towards locals, don't expect a spa type experience but a more traditional Thai experience. My wife also had an excellent massage. 120 baht is a bargain. People often mention massage, temple,

I feel it is not easy to explain the character of this temple. It seemed this temple is related closely with the real life of ordinary people.

Good food court at Sunday Market. Good selection, prices and overall quality. Post covid, now it tends to be crowded after 6:00 pm.

Didn't visit the temple but the massage is excellent! Cheapest at THB120 per hour but the best I've had. I'm definitely returning for more!

Excellent Thai massage for 120 baht/ hour. Firm and thorough. Spartan facilities, though fans keep you cool during the massage.

There are several stray dogs in the grounds here, it was sad to witness one pass away whilst I was there. After checking for vital signs, staff there lifted him into a large plastic bag. There is a nice open sided pavilion in the middle of the site and the Assembly Hall is open and has some beautiful artwork on the doors and inside.

Nice temple with plenty of shade. There's a nice mobile cafe on the grounds with iced coffee (50 Baht) and seating. Nice place to chill out

On Sunday's there are dozens of different food stalls to choose from. Chairs and tables are provided so you can sit down and have your meal.

The construction history of Wat Si Koet is not known, but its name was mentioned in the Nirat Harphunchai, a poetry witten in 1517. The assembly hall is a large rectangular building in the Lanna style. Phra Chao Kang Kham Buddha image was made of gilded bronze and has a unique feature, the shamp-angled shims, which was where the name Phra Chao Kang Kham derived from. This temple was probably built more than 500 years ago.

Even though its pagoda seems small, very beautiful especially at night.

Beautiful site and peaceful at this temple. Nice place to visit and explore. Keep in mind in temple areas, always dress conservatively and remove hats/shoes when entering temples :)

Love the massage, very cheap but with the most professional technique. I try different shop each day. Here is the best! Must give them some tips! It's totally worth. The only one thing is there is no air conditioner, but I don't mind
