Overpriced for the lack of amenity/ housekeeping in the room. No elevator so beware if you have bulky luggage. The only good thing about the hotel is the pool. No hand soap and only provide one if ask at the front desk. Fridge -NONE, there’s a communal one next to reception. You get 2 tiny bottles of shower gel/shampoo, new towel and toilet roll daily (as picture shown). They’d just place on your bed and don’t even bother do it for you. Very minimal service and amenities for the price you pay, stay somewhere else, loads of decent places in Chiangmai at the same price range. It’s like a youth hostel with a hotel price tag.

Good location, very nice rooms and pool. The pool view rooms have a nice balcony overlooking the pool. It's on a side street so mostly quiet. The metal roofed building behind makes a lot of noise in the rain. A refrigerator and kettle would be nice, as would some covered parking for motorcycles. Internet was a little slow (many users?) and the staff while professional was a tad indifferent. These are mostly nitpicking as overall a great place at an excellent price (at least on my visit).

Great location. When travelling on Sundays, note that the Sunday Night Market is around the guest house so no taxi can drive through. Not too friendly staff which is a little bit odd in Thailand. No Safe Box in the rooms, and you have to get a safe box with 100 BHT deposit. Also on the check-in you have to pay 500BHT deposit. No soap or hand liquid in the bathroom, only shampoo and shower gel. Only two bath towels available, no hand towels. No slippers. Sheets and towels are in beige so hard to see stains. No lifts in the building.

Terrible service, no properly organized parking. Ignorant staff. Instead of check-in and relax after 1200km road trip, I got car damage, time and money wasted for repair. Simple situation: Parking spot for !3 cars! was occupied by one individual, in the manner that none else can get in. On my simple and obvious request to find a better parking spot or, at least find a driver and ask him to park his wheicle properly. A hotel personnel literally insisted that I should try my luck and squeeze between a tree and that improperly parked pickup. Proudly gesticulated by the hotel personnel. "The result was successfully achieved!" My right mirror finally hit the tree while the left one was 4-5 cm from careless parked pickup. - BIG THANK YOU FOR "HELP" To resume all above: Of course It's obviously my own legal fault for damaging my own car, regardless of who was "helping"/guiding. Same as my own fault that I trust strangers either they act like a competent hotel representatives. But I believe the guest experience is fully on the place management. So that's why I can't give more than one star to the place. Lesson learned, I wish I read negativie reviews of the place prior arrival.

Really nice hotel and great value. We extended our stay here as we liked it so much. The pool is really nice, rooms are finished to a high standard (best showers we've had in Thailand), and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. Only negative is there is no fridge or kettle in the rooms but, that didn't actually bother us that much.

Great location, rooms not bad at all - it's just the staff that seems quite indifferent.

In the heart of the old city, and in very quiet street. Very well placed close to main attractions. Beautiful black pool🏊‍♂️, confortable bed and nice choice of breakfasts. Good service as well😀

My favorite stay in Thailand! The people at the front desk were wonderful - they helped us book a cooking class and elephant experience for cheaper than any I found online. The room is concrete and seems pretty basic but it has all you need - the shower pressure is great, room is very clean, and saw no bugs.

The lobby ladies were a little weird to us. But the guys and the older lady were very friendly and helpful. Pool view rooms on ground floor are the real thing. The other rooms did not look good. Hard bed

Good place for hotel. The hotel is big in the town. It has swimming pool. Even we paid for the hotel fee but we need to deposit 500 bth and they will return for us if there is no issue with the room. The receptionist is professional in sharing information. They also have some tours for us to go around Chiang Mai.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Great location-just near the Sunday night market and 711 shop. The staff are very welcome and the breakfast is good. Also quilt in room is comfortable but the shower is not. Sometimes water becomes big and sometimes becomes small. In general, a good place to stay if you don’t mind the shower problem.

Very nice hotel with good rooms and kind staff. We had breakfast here as well which was tasty (especially the coffee was lovely). Only tip for the hotel: the bathrooms can get pretty wet because there is no screen for the shower. A simple water wiper would’ve been great!

Pool was great. Rooms were clean, only downside was that we had a room with one wall directly getting all the sun light which made it really hot in the room. Ac was not really properly working. There were also little gaps beneath the door which made it easy to get mosquitos in :/ Staff were friendly. Worth the money either way. :)

Beautiful and quiet place in the city! I left my phone in the taxi, and the counter staff Nui and colleagues patiently helped me call Grab and retrieved my phone. Very grateful for the help! Have recommended to my friends.

My girlfriend and I stayed four nights at Lamphu House, I gave this hotel a decent 4 stars because: First the sleep quality: The bed was very hard, I (90kg) can stand with one foot on the bed and the bed does not collapse a bit. This is a sign the bed is very hard and not comfortable. The linen was also not soft. The pillows were fine. - no star Second the room, sounds and atmosphere. The room was large enough and has a balcony. There is also no streetnoise, so the room is quiet. Because its so hot in Thailand, the AC must be on all night. Unfortunately it made way too much noise, so we had to sleep with earplugs. Was a bit in doubt here, didnt sleep that good because of the AC. But overall the room is pretty OK. + 1 star Then hygiene, this was on point. The room was clean and towels changed daily. What was very irritating though: you only get one toilet roll. I had to go to the reception every day to get an extra, because the paper is so thin. Why so stingy? Leave two or three in the room! Besides this, good hygiene. + 1 star Fourth: Breakfast was prepared with care and tastes nice. But the options are limited. Not everone eats eggs or a croissant daily, and pancakes are not a proper breakfast imo. Add some yoghurt and muesli/granola and whole grain bread. White bread is unhealthy to eat daily. The pool (salt) has a very nice cool temperature and looks amazing. The overall service of the staff is excellent, really nice people! + 1 star Fifth: the location in the city, this is a good location. Very central nearby all kinds of good restaurants, but in a very quiet street. + 1 star

Wauw...we had such a great time in this modern guest house with great rooms (poolside) and awesome helpful stuff - located at just the right spot for city walking and weekend market as well as a variety of shrines. Don't search for any tour agency as most prices are aligned across all tour agents so book directly at hotel. All in all, you'll miss out if you don't stay here :-)

It's even better than I expected! It's the cleanest Hotel I have ever been in my 25 times in Thailand! Good spacious rooms, hot shower with power, although the mattress was old the 4 pillow were so comfortable! Food is simple but cheap, unfortunately they don't sell beer, but 7/11 is around the corner. Will be back 🙏

Lamphu house was a really good surprise. Good rooms, good vibe and the location is perfect! They have a real good swimming pool and the fastest Internet so far. The staff is very kind too. I recommend it and the next time I will be in chiang mai I will return to this hotel 😁

The overall hotel looked modern and stylish and was situated on a quiet street. The room we got had a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool which was quite nice. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the food they serve especially the Thai dishes are worth the price. The wifi was a bit slow and some of the towels we received had a bad smell despite being changed daily. Most of the staff from the reception were friendly, welcoming and happy to help you except for one who didn’t smile and had a cold attitude when we were speaking to her which was something new to us because we have stayed in Bangkok as well and all our encounters with customer service has been top notched. The accommodation did not have an elevator but the staff helps you to bring your luggages up to your room. Despite nitpicking, I enjoyed our overall stay and would recommend.

Very nice hotel, well located and with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are cleaned and it was very nice to enjoy the balcony and the pool to relax after a day in town. However the isolation is not the best, I could hear all of my neighbors. Besides this, everything was perfect. Thank you very much !

Lamphu house is a great place to stay when you go to Chiang Mai. It has a great location which is not right in the middle of the busiest area but is a short walk there if required. Its looks great and the rooms are spacious, staff are friendly and the whole place runs like a well oiled machine. However, the pool is area is a little small, once 4 or 5 people are in the area it is pretty crowded. Definately not the main draw of the hotel. Overall a cool place, and I will probably stay here again if I am lucky enough to go back to Chiang Mai.

I booked a room on the ground floor with a pool side view. The room is nice and surprisingly not loud at all. Breakfast was ok. The location is good in the city center.

Stayed 3 wonderful nights in this hotel. 5 stars to the lovely receptionists who were incredibly helpful. The hotel is perfectly clean, beautiful and well located in the city center (in the middle of Chiang Mai's night market!) This is my favourite hotel, highly recommend it!👍

Peaceful oasi in Chiang Mai, amazing pool, nice rooms and the best smoothies ever!! Unbelievable quality for the price! I’ll come back for sure

The room was ckean and reasonably large.. However it looked like a prison cell. Gray concrete walls and floors. 1 small shampoo and 1 small bath gel...to be shared between 2 adults No hand soap, hot water, safe or fridge in the room. No shower curtain. Very spartan and lacking in any personality.

Great location and room was always clean. Friendly staff that are always willing to help plan excursion or rides. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. They would also pack you a breakfast If you had an early morning activity.

I give it 10 to the pillow and the bed in the hotel, very comfortable. The swimming pool and the little balcony in the bedroom are lovely. Put your washed laundry in the balcony and the local weather makes it possible to dry your clothes in couples of hours. The young lady receptionist is not very professional, not a greeting from her when doing check-in. Great location in the old town, but not very convinient to go to the central shopping malls.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Our room at the pool was so beautiful and the location of the hotel is the best. Staff is super helpful. Breakfast is ok but could be a bit better. Overall, by far the best hotel I stayed at in Thailand.

👍👍 We have stayed here for 3 nights, everything is perfect. Location is superb, right in the centre, close to everything but still quiet. The room is clean and beautiful, bathroom has a rain shower.
