Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. The pool is not really for swimming, but a good place to cool off and relax. The breakfast is quite good, the the yogurt is nice as is the freshly baked pastries. They also have a nice gym with modern equipment. I didn't see it mentioned at all on the website.

We stayed a few nights during our honeymoon over Christmas 2019. The reception staff were polite enough, and the room adequate although the bathroom needing refurbishment. Breakfast was OK, and leaving stockings on our pillows on Christmas eve was a nice touch. Unfortunately our stay was marred by the unacceptable behaviour of the management. On Christmas day(!), having returned from an outing, we were abruptly told to wait at reception because the manager wanted to speak to my husband and with no further explanation given. The manager came and outright accused my husband of disruptive behaviour/vandalism around the hotel during the night before including breaking into the chef's office, and that he had "proof" it was my husband and would contact the police. On demanding to see the so-called proof, we were shown CCTV images of a man completely different in appearance and age with the only common thing being some facial hair - the staff had looked at the passport images and decided it was my husband. The manager realised his mistake and apologised by way of offering a lift to the airport the next day, but the way in which we were treated left a very bitter taste.

Walking up an alley to this secret gem, you would never guess how wonderful and beautiful the grounds are. The rooms are well thought, bed so comfortable, classy unique art on the walls, fantastic rain drop shower and separate bathtub, the room is spacious and quiet. Not to mention the murals near the sparkling pool, and ultra kind staff.. you won’t be disappointed! The hotel is located in a super fun area of Chiang Mai too.. tons of bars-restaurants and shopping.

The boutique hotel was quaint and clean. Its location was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was small and quite hot during the day. It has a small restaurant that gives a good buffet breakfast. Its massage spa was good. I give it a 3 star , it's actually a 3.7 but not quite a 4.

A beautiful hotel right outside the old city gate. Dark wood paneled rooms lent the entire place a very mystical feel. Elegant.

Great service and you feel so safe! In a little nook secluded from the hustle and bustle. Staff treat you like Kings and queens. Loved it

De Naga is centrally located in the old City of Chiang Mai. The staff is polite and accommodating. We were able to arrange air port pick-up for an excellent price and the guy that picked us up was very nice. They had our room ready early and let us go ahead and check in. Happy hour is from 5-6 and most things to do are within walking distance. I would highly recommend De Naga.

Plenty to love - 5 star experience. De Naga is located within walking distance of the Tha Phae Gate, very easy to get a cheap ride to anywhere in the city and close enough to walk to most things; bars and restaurants, temples, night markets. It is peacefully tucked back from the hustle and bustle of the nearby busy street. The staff was exceptionally welcoming - very personal experience. The rooms are very spacious and classically appointed. The swimming pool is small but there’s plenty of space to sit in the courtyard. Bartenders are very friendly. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms could be updated but overall the positive, boutique experience wins out. Highly recommend.

A nice clean hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was good, room was good, overall happy with the stay here. Pool is small but you don't come here for the sunbathing or the pool. It's close to everywhere you want to visit and tucked nicely away from main roads so it's very tranquil.

Best in Class in all areas. I have been on a 1 year vacation to Phillipines, Veitnam and Thailand. As an American I have to say this hotel has gotten my #1 hotel I stayed in over this year. Great location right in center of town, rooms were nicely appointed with both bath and shower. The restaurant was terrific serving the best breakfast I've had in the last year. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

The rooms were nice, the included breakfast was great, the location was good, but the service was terrible. I emailed in advance to ask about transportation from the airport to the hotel and they would not arrange a taxi to pick us up at the airport. They didn’t have the room we booked available when we checked in so we had to have one person sleep on the window seat. They weren’t even going to move us to the correct room on the second night until I asked them to. The people at the tour desk at the front had terrible English and arranged a temple tour with a terrible guide who couldn’t provide much information about the places we went and ended up being an inefficient use of our day. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, friendly staff. The pool is cooled which is a nice repreave from the heat. Great ocean views and sandy beaches. The singular rooms that are closer to the beach from the hotel are amazing. I recommend checking out the nearby restaurants as they are very nice, plus you can walk to any of them on the beach.

Beautiful Hotel, great location, nice staff. I had a couple of 'area' questions a few times and was always directed to the the activities woman who was not very nice or helpful. We just figured everything out as we went.
