Awesome view from the window. It's like a scene from a scary ghost movie. Almost feels like something will fly at you from the adjacent building. The room itself is no so terrible, but I wouldn't stay here the next time I visit Chiang Mai. Especially if I'm traveling with my family.

I really wanted to like this place and I should have read the reviews more carefully. PROS: staff was polite. They had breakfast ready for us at 5am because we had an early morning flight. This is the only reason they have 2 stars instead of 1. CONS: there was a glitch with the Agoda app which made me make a reservation on the wrong date. When I emailed the hotel to confirm they received my reservation they confirmed for a night that already passed! When we arrived to check in they told us they would not refund us money, give us a discount or have any kind of compensation. We were really disappointed. When we asked to speak to a manager the person behind the desk called him or her but they never came out. The room is extremely modest with no perks whatsoever. The bathroom was old and not in great shape. For the price we paid ($45 a night) we recorded nothing. I do not recommend staying here.

Location. Nice contemporary hotel in a great location. 7 min walk to One Nimman. 8 min walk to Maya Mall. There is a Korean barbeque place on the opposite side of the street that is jam packed from 12pm to 9 pm. Didn't get a chance to try , but must be good bc locals frequent ! The hotel is clean & has good water pressure. The ac works well & the beds are very comfortable. Note; I did see a bug on last visit , but my room was promptly changed so no complaints. I have stayed here twice & wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Free complimentary breakfast with a decent buffet selection. This hotel is a good value overall.

Very convenient location...you are literally 1 minute walk to everything happening in Nimman. Our room was in the back of the building and it was quiet...and clean....we opt not to have breakfast as there's plenty of choice around.

Staff was really nice, professional, and supportive. Room and toilet were clean. Wifi was good. Good location in Nimman. Overall impressive and worth your mobey!

Everything ok in this hotel.. The best is the breakfast... Chiang Mai food difficult to find in other hotels with more western food.

Enjoyed a 4 day stay here on the fifth floor facing north. Great that there is no direct sunlight in the morning. Room comes with a mini balcony/aircon porch to step out on. It's a sizeable room where there are adequate amenities like tv, hair dryer, fridge, make-up table, coffee/tea set. TV had many channels and for english channels, I would recommend channel 9 for english movies. The king bed was really comfortable and I slept well every single night. Shower was good as well. Very good water pressure. Toilet came with a bidet. Toiletries like shower cap, Q-tip buds and toothbrush sets are provided. Massage parlours are located nearby within 2mins walk to the right of hotel. 7-11 is located 2mins walk to the right. Very nice drinking place about 5-7mins walk away, Warm-Up cafe. Basically, the locality of this hotel is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and approachable. The housekeeping staff placed bottles of water for me outside my room even though I did not request for a make-up of room. Kudos to them👍 Thank you Hug Nimman

I stay this hotel when to visit Changmai Thailand. The staff is really helpful and present. Room was good. I recommend to stay this hotel again.

Great hotel in terms of price & offering. Room was very clean and the beds were made everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is good if you want to explore Nimman, great restaurants and cafes nearby. You do hear a lot of noises at night but thats more the surroundings than the hotel. If your looking for a cheap and clean hotel for a couple of nights I can definetly recommend Hug Nimman Hotel! I wouldn't recommend taking the breakfast as there is not too much to choose from and there are enough cheap cafes around.

Clean room, spacious, comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent service. Reasonable prices and situated in a fantastic location, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Happy to stay here again.

Positive: - clean - cheap - very good location 👍 - good service (booked two beds instead one, was changed immediately) - my Girlfriend especially liked the make up table 😅 Negative: - cleaning service in the morning is a bit loud - thin walls (hear the rooms beside) - no safe in the room All things considered we had a great experience with this Hotel and would definitely recommend when coming to Chiang Mai.

Excellent hotel in terms of price and offering!! The room and bathroom size is very good. Clean, good bed and good amenities!! Location is excellent with a number of good restaurants all in walking distance. Found an excellent place courtyard around 50 meters from the hotel where you can chill sitting outside with a number of restaurants from which you can order food and drinks. The buffet breakfast was good with a large range of items! Service is fine and definitely staying here again when we visit Chiang Mai. Recommend this quality hotel!!

went back and forth 2 time, not impressed once, the air conditioner is not cold. the room does not match the booking. the water heater is broken. very bad.

Hug Nimman Hotel is located at the Nimman area of Chiang Mai. Location wise, this is very good. Convenient in getting to/from the International Airport. Hundreds of well known restaurants and cafe' around there to check in and worth trying. The hotel is quite dated. Good for a few nights stay. Bed are quite comfy but I find the interior and directions of furniture placing are a bit odd. There are some unnecessary lighting around in the room. Bathroom are quite old and dated, mosquito and black ants are also found in my room as well. But all in all, quite a pleasant stay with lots of friendly and smiling staff from receptionists to housekeepers. Breakfast are ok, nothing out of ordinary. The hotel front desk can also helps you with airport transfer booking as well.

Great location with parking space. The room looks nice and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay here and their breakfast was delicious.
