We stayed in Hostel One Art for four nights and extended for another two nights because we really liked our room. The owner gave us a big discount for our huge room with private terrace. The hostel is very nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and the common kitchen can be used by the guest. It also has a common garden area with plenty of plants. The owner is very friendly and helpful and children are welcome too. The hostel is located in a quiet area in the old town and restaurants and temples are just in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

The room is exactly how it is in their listing photos — nice aesthetics, very comfortable, spacious, and clean. There’s also a common kitchen for everyone’s use. Everything we need is here and I think if I have the money, I’d live and retire in this home. Math and his family run the place and are very welcoming, warm, and communicates very well. Math speaks good English and would give a lot of recommendations around town. He’d also answer all my questions, no matter how mundane my questions are.

We stayed there for 3 nights, and were pleased with the room. It was spacious and clean. The host was nice. No breakfast was provided (this did not come as a surprise, we were aware of this). And the location was great, in the center.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on my first solo trip to Thailand and was blown away by the hospitality and comfortable conditions. Math was kind and helping and super flexible on everything I needed - whether to leave luggage, have packages delivered while I was away on excursions, or even providing free snacks when I arrived with no food. I chose to return for a few more nights after leaving because I felt so at home there. Highly recommend.

Rawit and his dad, Saksit, are one of the most kindest and genuine people I've met during my Asia trip. Their home is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful garden and multiple terraces to enjoy the view. Saksit put so much thought behind the design of the house and it is filled with personal touches such as the bamboo from their farm and artwork from local artists. Our room had an ensuite bathroom, smart TVs for entertainment, comfortable beds, a comfy living room for relaxing, a desk that is perfect for remote working, and a balcony that overlooks the neighboring houses. The communal kitchen was always stocked with coffee, tea, filtered water, and bananas for guests to freely use. It was hands down our favorite accommodation in Thailand but more than the space itself, we really enjoyed getting to know Rawit and his family. When my friend realized that she left her wallet at their place after checking out, she gave them a call and they drove all the way to the airport and spoke with the staff to get the wallet through the security checkpoints to the gate where my friend was waiting. That meant the world to us and it spoke volumes of their good-hearted nature. If I'm ever back in Chiangmai, I would definitely stay with them again!

We enjoyed our stays! The room has two TVs having Netflix and Youtube services! The owner was really kind!!! But.. I expected hot shower, but the water was warm...? Except that, everything was satisfying

We loved it, we were a family in the family room, everything was excellent: the beds, AC, cleanliness, bathroom, quiet street. The host Matthew was the best, very friendly, knowledgeable about restaurants and treks. Will return for sure.

If you love to a quiet place and comfortable accommodation, you need to choose the hostel! The public area is great! You can stay here all day if you want.

It makes to happy to see that this hostel has 5 stars. Any less would be a travesty. I stayed here in October with my family and we were completely blown away with everything about the place. Our garden terrace room was comfortable, clean and modern with everything to make our stay amazing. We only wished we could have stayed there longer. The dude at reception is called Math and is the most friendly and helpful guy. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10\10 👌

Great hostel owned by the nicest people. The desk clerk is the kindest guy, always on his toes and ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are very large for how little it costs, and the decorations and design of the hotel is just stunning, artworks covering the wooden walls and a cozy balcony good for both working and relaxing. If you are going to stay in Chiang Mai, this is the place to be.

I stayed in the dorm room May 2022 as a "solo traveller" - I had such a good experience here. The hostel is so nicely designed with such beautiful artwork. There is a bathroom area for communal guest's that are clean and run well. The owner's son (Saksit) speaks great English, and is super helpful if you have any questions. His parents are also really nice, and his dad hand picks fresh fruit which you can help yourself too. Other thing's - there's a communal fridge, and you can use the kitchen downstairs to make tea/coffee. There's also other amenities such as a hair dryer, shower gel/shampoo, and they provide a laundry service for 40baht/kg of clothing (which is standard in other areas as far as I can tell). Location - great, it's located in the Old Town/City. Everything is walkable within the square e.g. night markets. There is a 7/11, and pharmacy 5min walk away. It gets a bit dark in the area, but I personally never felt unsafe walking around.
