Great hostel! the owner (Dang) is super nice and helped us with everything we needed - he even offered to help us book the activities we wanted and it was super helpful. The room is comfortable, except we had a room with no window. The hostel is in a great location - it is very close to the night market.

Wonderful place! Rooms are clean and nice, and they also have a small place which serves smoothie bowls and homemade pastries which were delicious. The owner Dang, is one of the nicest people we’ve met on our trip. He helped us with planning our day trips in Chiang Mei, and also when I forgot my coat in our room after we left Chiang Mei, he sent it to our next hotel in Bangkok, and didn’t agree for us to pay him for the delivery. Would definitely recommend to stay in this place when you come to Chiang Mei!!

"Bee Friend Hostel" in Chiang Mai is a fantastic budget hotel. "Dang" is super nice and gives great tips for exploring. Highly recommend, close to the night market. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

While staying at Bee Friend hostel we had a great time! Dag made sure our stay was great! The room was clean and had great AC. I will definitely book another room there when we make it back to Chiang Mai!

This accomodation is perfect for a stay in Chiang mai! Great location with a lot of restaurants nearby, the host Dang also helped us with booking excursions at a cheaper rate than advertised for tourists and he gave great recommendations for nearby local thai restaurants with great food.

Rooms are clean. Owners very nice. You can also order smoothies and fruit bowls and other food (for breakfast). We forgot our shirt and they kept it apart so that we could collect it later when we returned from Pai. Only problem was a bit of smell in the shower. Situated close to the nightmarket and the river. A bit further from the old center but you can take a songthaw.

Exactly as it says, Bee Friend Hostel. You really feel as if you've made friends here with such lovely and accommodating hosts. A hostel, basic but clean, excellent location for the night markets. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

We had such an amazing stay at Bee Friend Hostel. Really good value, great location, clean and comfortable rooms (the beds are some of the comfiest we’ve slept in Thailand). And the staff are so friendly and helpful, Dang and the team go out of the way to help you organise tours and have the best time in Chang Mai.

Great host and service excellent

Nicest hostel on our trip in Asia so far! Dang, the owner, picked us up from the airport and he turned out to be a really friendly and helpful guy. Dang runs this hostel with his wife and made us delicious breakfast every morning, from banana-pancakes to eggs on toast, to cereals with fresh fruit. Every morning a surprise. All included in the price. Dang helped us with booking tours like ziplining and the elephant sanctuary and even got us some discount here and there. We could always contact him through whatsapp or messenger and got a positive response in no time. The room: since it's a new hostel everything is new and clean. Comfortable beds, everything superclean, tv in the room, nice shower. Location: it's a 15 minute welk to oldtown, but only a few baht to get there with a grab. A few buildings to the left is the popular Ram Bar where you can see a nice dragshow between 10 and 12 pm. We stayed for 3 nights and returned later (after we went to Pai) for another 3 nights. Dang and his son even went to a Muay Thai fight with us. Dang explained a lot of culture and language stuff to us and thought us a little Thai. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will back someday! Thanks for everything Dang.

Good experience and lovely owner who goes the extra mile. Rooms are varying. The one with balcony is very nice. Standard (hot water, ac, breakfest) all good. The place is missing a bit a place to hang out, like a garden or roof, to make it an excellent experience.

My favorite is the banana and cocoa smoothie bowl. I get it topped with peanut butter, the homemade granola, and fresh banana slices. Love it every time! 😋

The Host is increadibly helpfull, nice and polite. He will help choosing some trips, local food, ordering taxi etc. The hotel is very clean, smells nice, everything is in order. You can enjoy simple breakfast. The Best place we have stayed! Thanks for everything.

This hostel is a great place with a central location, and the owner, Dang, goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are comfortable! I unfortunately had laryngitis during my trip to Thailand and lost my voice for a good portion of my time in Chiang Mai. Dang made me ginger tea and kept checking in to see if I was getting better. Thank you for the amazing hospitality Dang! Really enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful experience! Rooms are clean and comfortable (all private). Plenty of bathrooms, always clean. Great location - close to the night bazaar, but not too noisy that you can't sleep. But the best part is the owners! Dang and Moy are some the kindest, most hospitable people I've ever met. I can't believe how kind and welcoming they are, even by Thai standards :) The next time we're in Chiang Mai, we will absolutely stay here again.

Dang, his wife and sister are one of the kindest Thai people we met! They have a beautiful small guest house in a perfect location. Breakfast is great (you can order eggs and pancakes), rooms and bathrooms are really clean and beds are super comfortable! Dang helps out whenever you need it! We loved the place and would always come back!!!

If you are travelling to Chiang Mai solo or as a couple, this is your place. Its central, clean, comfy and cozy. The owner Mr Dan is probably one of my best friends I made travelling solo. Such a helpful, kind man and is always trying to make your stay easier, which really makes this place special. The place is a little Hole in the wall, you can easily walk past it but once you've found it, you will never forget it.
