Great place to stay! Super friendly owners and staff. Very good food. Private rooms with full bathroom for very cheap. If we come back to Chiang Mai we will definitely stay here again.

A lovely mom and pop, owner run homestay that is located not far from the Chiang Mai gate, just outside of the old city. This place exudes TLC from plantings to rooms to caring attention. Such accommodating and endearing personalities are to be found here! i know Chiang Mai very well and have stayed in many places, until discovering the Baitong. There is no, 'close second'. I will, only stay here whenever I visit. If you wish to eat in their restaurant, wonderful things come out of their kitchen, too. Enjoy

INCREDIBLE HOMESTAY!!!! The BEST value for money stay in my travels so far. The owners are so warm, accommodating and friendly - and they have the cutest doggos! The rooms are a sufficient size and kept clean. The breakfast is incredible, and largely homemade with love. The bread and the jams are homemade - some of the best bread I have had in my life! The food was so good, we even opted for dinner one night! Would highly recommend!!!! A hidden gem in Chiang Mai!

Friendly B&B with excellent breakfasts. Nicely situated in a quiet part of town in comfortable walking distance of the old town. German/Thai owners speaking good English with helpful local staff.

Narumol and Manfred are lovely hosts. Narumol's food is extremely refined and tasty. Her panang is really flavourful and I woke up everyday, excited at the prospect of eating her rice soup for breakfast. The place has numerous open fish tanks with lots of big multicoloured fishes. The luxurious plants and the bubbling sound of water made the atmosphere very peaceful. They're lovely hosts, very welcoming and hospitable.

We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. Rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is good (eggs, omelette, fruits, bread, butter, jam, cheese). Manfred bakes his own German bread, and it is great to have some qualitative bread in Thailand. There are also two friendly dogs. It is about a 15min walk from the night Bazar or the old city. The hotel itself is super quiet.

Rooms downstairs don't have daylight, this was a minus for us. Great service and fresh home made bread at breakfast. More elderly target customers are a good fit.

Top budget guesthouse in Chiang Mai - very good in price and service. You should not miss the cooking master menus of Narumol and Manfred. Taste the home made marmelade, sausage and ham - delicious!

It's a lovely homestay in Chiang Mai. The owners are very kind, the breakfast is superb, and because the lot of plants and flowers just feel like you are in a small jungle:) A bit hard to find (even for the tuktuk drivers), but Chiang Mai center is just fifteen minutes walk. Recommend to stay here.

Stay here! Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Old City. Clean, warm and welcoming. The staff here are very genuine and you can tell they care about their guests. A perfect travelers' home away from home. You will get a home cooked meal, and help with scheduling excursions or itineraries...just ask and they will provide. I will definitely be coming back to this place in the future.

Amazing place to stay, quiet, can go out and back whenever you like. And the owner is very nice and helpful. Love this place.

Homestay with great service. The room is clean with attached toilet and aircon. Food is very good both Thai and German food. Manfred is a very good German chef and Narumol is professional Thai cooker. A tiny restaurant in quiet atmosphere nice decorated with arts on the wall. Parking area is enough for driving guest. Here you will never forget the home away from home.

We booked by Agoda. A few days before our stay, we tried to contact them by Agoda message for a question. After I didn‘t get any answer, I contacted them directly by WhatsApp. Then they answered, but wrote that they haven’t any reservation on our name. I found another hotel and canceled the booking. Even now the rooms are available on Agoda.

Manfred, his wife, and Nine are amazing hosts. They warm welcomed us and we're very friendly. They accommodated our early departures by having breakfast ready. The homemade bread, homemade jam in the breakfast were super we really enjoyed the room was super clean and had airconditioning. They also cleaned the outside area very frequently. Also walking to the city is 15 min and never had issues. Totally recommend it and great value for money.

Third stay in this wonderful house. Super clean, very peaceful atmosphere, beautiful plants everywhere, luminous bathroom, exquisite meals prepared with love and care by Narumol, friendly staff. You really feel here at home.
