Huge, clean, family friendly mall catering to all. They even have your typical street market foods at the common atrium area. To top it off, there’s even an ice skating rink!

The largest mall I’ve seen in chiang mai with a decent variety of shops and restaurants. There are a few amazing dessert places here and it is easily accessible as they have an area for grab to pick up and drop off. Wide range of prices for stores, there’s something for everyone.

Huge mall and worth to go! Many retail shops and you can be lucky if you chance temporary street food stalls at basement. If not, the food court at basement is already good enough:) Many retail malls - fashion, electronics etc…. I spent more than half a day combing it! In a relaxed way of course… unless you are dashing around and rushing, haha! Lots of fun and nice eateries at various floor, I especially love the The Volcano cheese toast! They even can choose sugar level for their shakes. There is a outdoor fun fair, good for kids and adults. The outdoor opens in evening around 6pm- not so hot also. A mall good for solo like me and families:) 🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I guess they don't have more shopping guess mails in Chiang Mai, and we don't even go there for shopping. But its nice with AC and in Bankok they have really cool kids stuff, so that's what we were looking for. There is a playground and a game area, but most of the stuff does not work and my kids were not really entertained... the playground is for really smal kids, also old, but kids don't notice. After playing a bit we did have nice cotton Candy, as we love it in thailand, they make an art from it:-)

This mall is well managed. Bathrooms are usually clean. The floors are routinely cleaned. It has many international designer stores here. 5 th floor is a good floor. There is a live market in the basement. Immigration also located at this mall.

On the side of the shopping center it says Central Festiva, But the same place. A large shopping center covering a wide variety of shopping needs. Easy to navigate, even if there are many layers. It is not a maze like many big shopping centers. Here you can find western stores such as Zara, H&M, Adidas, Calving Klein etc. Japan shops and locals. There is also plenty of food available for different needs. There are also several places for children to spend time.

Central festival Chiang Mai has almost 250 shops within an area of 250,000 square meters and there are 2 food courts. It is located in an an area surrounded by many other surrounding commercial spaces in Chiang Mai. The architectural design of the building was done by Girimun Architects for Central Pattana. The building combines both indoor shopping and outdoor enjoyment. There are several curved contemporary atriums inside the shopping zones which was inspired by the surrounding rice paddy fields of the valley where the early “Lanna” - meaning “million terraces” – culture has prospered. The shopping center has 5 levels of shopping, eating, entertainment, multiplex cinema and ice-skating rink and extends outwards through a system of canopy links that connect to event plazas and pavilions within landscaped gardens.

It was fitting to the Central Department Store brand with all the necessary clothing for women, men and children. We were there on a family shopping trip and enjoyed it immensely. The staff was polite and helpful as well as attentive. The restrooms in the department store was exceptionally clean. It helped a lot they were going through a super sale. Will stop and shop at this location again real soon.

The largest shopping center I have ever been to. Perhaps only Airport Plaza will be the same, but this one seems more convenient in terms of location. If you want to avoid a lot of visitors, I recommend going right when it opens or after 8 pm.

What an awesome shopping mall! It’s crazy to me how Chiang Mai has better shopping than most cities in America…there are so many cool stores, you could spend so many hours and not get bored! Incredible selection of electronics and smartphones, and endless sprawl of food choices, more clothing stores than you can ever imagine, and so much more. It is extremely clean, you feel extremely safe, and it is a must-visit when in Chiang Mai. Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s fun just walking around in this mega-mall! Can’t wait to go back!

Central Festival Chiang Mai is a large shopping center; a modern mall with 5 floors located north-east of the old city, with a number of popular clothing brands, a supermarket, a cineplex which shows both English and Thai movies, gym, and electrical stores.

Modern, trendy and cool mall to hang out in Chiang Mall. They have many western and eastern stores. I was quite impressed with the food courts and restaurants here. Definitely check it out, the variety and portions you get for the price is good.

Central Festival has an extensive variety of store options and a wide selection of food stalls to handle your hunger pallet. Very clean, well air conditioned and a great stop over to have a browse. Expect to wait during busy period getting a ride pickup when leaving the shopping center.

this mall is very nice. I had the chance to get here since it was raining in the city so I had no choice but to go inside a mall. I bought my first Sim card as I am staying here for a week and the staff in the TRUE shop were very helpful. They installed my Sim card and registered me to get an access of the Internet data during my stay in the country. I went down to get some food and I had lots of good stuff to eat. I tried the soup which is very spicy in my taste but I am in thailand so it is expected ! so I was really super hot but at the same time it was so delicious. Aside from that there are lots of stalls where you can get some fresh juices, yogurts, and good desserts, like native desserts of the country and good sweets.

The largest mall houses numerous brand stores. Its diverse food court offers a wide selection of international cuisines, with a special recommendation for trying the delightful Thai dishes. Prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent, providing a clean and prompt experience. The vibrant atmosphere extends beyond the mall with various outdoor activities.

I arrived there before new year night. It is a must place when you arrive for shopping in chaing mai. Big department store! But the food court is just normal in my view. I love Uniqlo store which has variety of choice.

This shopping mall blew my mind 😃 Absolutely chocked full of so many great shops! There is quite literally a floor for anything and everything 🛍️ Easily accessible by foot or by car. Impeccably clean and modern with lots of great events and facilities. It's spacious with lots of light and perfect for all ages and shoppers. If you are in Chiang Mai and you are partial to 'retail therapy' then this is the place to be. And if you aren't, it's still worth a browse as you could literally spend the whole day here and not visit the same shop twice. 💯 Recommended ✌🏻

There's a variety of shops available, along with numerous Japanese restaurants. You'll find a variety of choices, including fast food, Thai street food, and small food carts offering a range of items. There is also an entertainment as well as play areas. Our top pick was Uniqlo, which boasts a spacious layout and an extensive collection. It's a fantastic spot for shopping, dining, and taking a leisurely stroll.

Standard Central shopping mall. Don't waste your time trying to park on the ground floor as almost impossible to get a spot there. Cinema on top floor is great

A big, modern mall a short ride from the city center. We were surprised to see an ice skating hall in the middle of the mall. The food court was quite good as well, and not too pricey.

Named “Central Festival”, this is a rather large mall in Chiang Mai, comparable to some of the malls in Bangkok. It contains a lot of brand name retail outlets and food chains, as well as a cinema, games arcade & even a Virgin Active (gym). The only odd thing is that the basement foodcourt and restaurants at the top level started to close at 8:30pm (we went on a weekday), so best to grab your dinner earlier. If the weather is poor, this is a great spot to spend time shopping and/or snacking.

A great, elegant shopping center in Chiang Mai. You will find here all the shops you are charging, also use the cinema, ice rink, a playroom, fitness or eating zone. Everything is beautifully decorated.

This a place where I would advise you to do shopping. They have everything you need and it’s so beautiful. It doesn’t matter whether you come with kids or not, kids have places where they can play 😊

  • 3/5 Michael O. 2 years ago on Google
This Mall is getting more busy despite 3 wet markets closed for covid sanitization. I wish that Central Festival could improve sanitization on escelator railings as that is a sorce that has potential risk of passing virus and bugs alike to the unwary Shopping Mall Customers, Mall staffs, and Shop workers. With Thai smart 4.0 invention a escalator railings spray device could be implemented for further customer safty and hygiene diversity.

This is definitely one of the best malls in Chiang Mai, it has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and things to do. Some fun activities included seeing a movie at the cinema, shopping, and going ice skating. The mall is well maintained, clean, and a fun place to go with friends.

Lively shopping mall, we were there shopping for luggage though unfortunately the store we were there to visit no longer exists and the other luggage store didn't have what we were after at the right price point.

Very good shopping malls. The service attitude, integrity, and service consciousness of some merchants have lowered the ratings of the shopping malls.

Why they don't turn on air conditioning???? Can you imagine walking in central is even hotter than outside ??? I sweat like hell , and tell the employee in muji, they just smile and joking that it's very hot right ? I feel like slapping them in the face !!! And I saw cashier giving bag to other customer , and when I asking for it , they told me no bags !!!! This is very bad !!! I come shopping and they don't give me bag !!!!!!!!

A biggest mall in the northern Thailand with various shops, markets, arcades. It got everything in here. I experienced the cinema with 4D. It was perfect(the sound, quality, seats and others). Many events held on this place and they decorated well. Lots to do in here and a nice place to kill few hours. The parking lot is quite big but sometimes you stuck in traffic in front of the mall.
