A good vegan food stall if you’re in the area and crave mushrooms. I came at around 1pm and they were out of most of their dishes. But it was still tasty. I had the rice with 3 choices (the fried sliced cube was just wow!) + a red soup with vermicelli and mushrooms for 70B in total. There’s free filtered water too. Nice service, English speaking.

Oh my GAWD!! We are so happy to have stumbled upon this gem in Chiang Mai! We came here every day because the food is really that good. What’s even better is you know you’re supporting a business that actually cares about people and the world. Yupin is a special lady and she makes people feel seen and heard. When we ate there, she would customize our orders because we liked our dishes less spicy with more herbs. Yupin remembered that I liked spicy while my partner didn’t so without asking, she would have a small plate of chilis for me on the side. This is just one example of many which makes eating here such a treat. The setting itself is your typical Asia foods market in a dimmed setting with incandescent light bulbs. Not fancy or anything but very cultured and you won’t see many tourists here. In the rare case whenever we struggled with communication, locals whom spoke english would step up to help us translate. We instantly felt at home here. Also we met a bunch of cool people that were daily goers and even a doctor that was vegan! Everyone raved about this shop! We highly recommend everything here but our favourites were the papaya salad and the dark noodle soup (change the noodles to the pad-thai styled rice noodles!) Yupin is an excellent chef. I came to seek her out as I used ro eat here everyday when I was studying at the TMC Massage School 5 years ago. I came back to get some of her delicious Pad See Ew and it is just as delicious as I remember, if not better! I love jer cooking and recommended her vegan dishes and I will be back as many times as I can!

Great Vegetarian food inside a very pleasant market. The food made and served with great love, taste is great. Make sure to come before 13:00 to enjoy greater variety. It has some comfortable tables just next to the stall.

Great buffer and made to order menu - Yupin is a magician in the kitchen. If she doesn't have something you want, she'll find where to get it in the market and make it for you. She clearly cares a lot about her food and the customers. Best things I've had are the palo and the panang curry.

Best (vegan) Tom Kha ( coconut spicy soup) in Chaing Mai. If you want some really great vegan food by a sweetheart vegan chef (Yupin), this is the place to come. Local, right in the middle of a busy Thay market. And cheap too.

I recently stumbled upon this amazing food stall that has delicious food and a super friendly owner who can speak English, despite the menu being in Thai. If you can't speak Thai, no worries - there are photos of the dishes you can point to when ordering. The portion sizes are larger than usual for local Thai food, and the Tom Yum noodle soup (local spiciness level) is amazing! And so is the cucumber salad! I definitely plan on visiting again soon. While not all menu items are available every day, the friendly owner more than makes up for it with their kind demeanour and great customer service. Overall, I highly recommend checking out this food stall if you're in the area and looking for some tasty Thai food served up with a smile.

Located right off a major road inside of the food market you will find Happy Mushroom. At first, it did take us a bit to locate, but if you remember to simply scan the front side facing the major road you won't miss it. Worst-case and as long as you are near the front anyone would be able to point you in the direction. Don't expect a restaurant; as it's more of a food-stand with a few chairs. But don't let that scare you off the food and the people there are really great. They can cook for both vegetarian and vegan with lots of spices available if your taste buds are craving. My best advice, and what I would do if in the area again is to carry a big bag and get some shopping done. There were some really good fruits and veggies around. Unfortunately, you will have to walk around to find the best prices; as some can be as high as if you were shopping at the grocery store. Bon Appétit

Most delicious food in Chiang Mai! Couldn't recommend this place more highly! A huge selection of freshly cooked / prepared food everyday. The salads are prepared right in front of you and are so delicious. Yupin is super friendly and an expert vegan chef. Ate here everyday for 5 days, I wish it could have been more 😁

Good simple vegan versions of simple Thai food but it is quite expensive for what it is. The woman can be friendly and welcoming at times.

Nice cheap, small lunch shop with excellent everyday changing lunch options with lots of proteins. They also support the community by offering meals to people who do not have money to buy food. Recommending choosing from the ready made options!
