The Wooden Door was our go-to brunch spot when staying in Chiang Mai. Great food, reasonable prices, and everything is very customizable. We often ordered just toast and 1-2 eggs (with a bonus piece of bacon sometimes.) The toast comes with delicious tart orange jam, the fried or poached eggs were always cooked well, and the bacon was never fatty and always cooked chewy-crisp. I only like crispy bacon, so it was perfect! Other items you can add include: mushrooms, sausage, hash browns, salad, and chicken. It’s a good spot for meeting up with people, doing work, or grabbing something to go, though we only ate in since it was a two minute walk from Astra Sky River. It tends to get busy on weekends, especially around brunch time. Their drinks are unique and tasty too. We will definitely be back frequently the next time we are in Chiang Mai.

I specifically booked an air bnb to be close to this restaurant. I needed a change of environment as I live about 25 minutes away. I enjoyed visiting the Wooden Door 3 days in a row. The owner is fantastic! He listens to your requests and knows how to pair ingredients together with care. I have nothing but love for this little gem of a cafe and finally found my breakfast/lunch spot when I don't want to cook. Thank you for your warm hospitality and conversation over great food and drinks!

What an amazing find, not hard if you’re staying at Sky River as it’s directly across. Just such lovely staff, great service and obviously a great chef behind the scene. Breakfast options are all outstanding my favourite being the classic farmer, you really need to start your day with the Peach and Pasion fruit drink is just wow, great espresso to finish off, I often also got great pasta to take away for back at the flat. I cannot speak more highly of the place, ambience , food and staff. Thank you and look forward to seeing you again next year.

No better way to start my day… Lucky to find this hidden gem “Best Brunch in town”. Zipping my first cup of coffee while enjoying this little cute garden coffeeshop. I can’t even tell I’m in the middle of city hassles.

Beautiful brunch spot in Chiang Mai, they have an air-conditioned inside area as well as a cute courtyard with tropical flowers out the back. We tried several brunch dishes as we were staying close by and loved everything.

Simply a gem. Best breakfast and best service in Chiangmai so far. We entered the place and a friendly waitress showed us a free table. Atmosphere is really relaxed with light piano music. I had Egg-Benedict on Toast and it was done perfectly. My wife had a simple Omelette with Salmon. And this was a showcase to demonstrate that cooking the perfect omelette is an art. Well done! To get one of the very attentive waitresses to the table it was enough to make eye contact.

Small restaurant which delivers big. Great food, amazing wraps! Probably the best coffee in Chiang Mai. Small courtyard at the rear which houses their B&B Recommended!

Egg benedict was good but not wow. Sourdough bread was pretty good. The weakest, to me, was coffee. You need a good house blend!

We loved our breakfast at Wooden Door Cafe! We sat outside in the garden and had the best time. The food and coffees were also excellent. What a gem.

The finest Western-style breakfast, brunch, and lunch in town. The decorations are themed after ancient Chiang Mai, creating a charming ambiance. The barista makes excellent coffee, and their dessert menu is delightful. We especially love their special weekend menu. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit when you’re in CNX.

Gutted I didn’t check this cafe out sooner. The best eggs Benedict I’ve had in Chiang Mai, the hollandaise sauce is insane! Coffee was tasty. The service and overall experience was good - definitely coming back!

I can't even think about a hideaway gem in the center of the city. The restaurant has a very chilled atmosphere where is a combination of indoor and outdoor seating area. Simple menu but amazing drink list and surprisingly my "vine" is so refreshing and not like coughing syrup hahaha that's a good try. Well downside is... sourdough is bit crispy to eat.

Lovely place to have some really good breakfast. Friendly staff. We sat outside in the garden which was really nice. The only thing is was not happy about was discovering this place at our last day in chiang mai.

The food and drinks are just as delicious as the ambiance. The BLT, Scrambeggcon croissant sandwich, cappuccino, cafe mocha, and mango honey shake were all delicious! The total price was around 650 baht. Our waitress was also quite friendly. Definitely a must go cafe.

Amazing cafe, one of the best in Chiang Mai! The owner Parim is super friendly and very passionate about his food and it shows - both the coffee and the food are really high quality. Perfect place either to get some work done or for a nice brunch/lunch
