We had a great experience at this sanctuary. We tried 2 places like this and we thought this one was the better. We got there by our rental car as we agreed on time by email and paid cash at the place. Their itinerary is first to introduce the elephants and brief about their history and behaviors, after that feeding the elephants then walking with them around the park, then preparing the digestive food for them to put directly into their mouth. After that the mud party and shower with them. During the activities you can take pictures and also the staff can take pictures for yours. Their park is very green and scenic. And also I forgot to mention about lunch. At last activity was having lunch which was our first activity when we were waiting for the group after taking a shower and changing clothes. They also provide clothes for dirty activities. Good place.

An absolutely amazing experience. Very efficient and quick pick up from Chiang Mai. Guide was very professional and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about elephants and their world. It was 2 of us and 5 elephants so lots of fun feeding, walking and washing them. The animals are treated very well and seem to be very happy which is extremely important for us. I highly recommend this place and tour.

What an amazing experience. These elephants are free to roam in a nice area in the hills away. These elephants ate all females and have been rescued from tourist elephant rides, circus and logging. Your able to spend time feeding them, walking with them and even bathing them which is amazing. I really love the work they do here and they seem to be so respectful of these beautiful creatures.

I had a great experience with Lanna Kingdom. Communication was stellar from the moment we booked the full-day trip online. Our tour guide, Alex, picked us up from our hostel and was our guide for the entire day through all of the activities. He did an amazing job introducing us to the elephants and giving us elephant etiquette. The sanctuary is a humble one that relies on the visitors for money to care for the elephants. The day wasn’t packed full of activities which was nice because it left lots of downtime to hang out with the elephants. We could tell the elephants were well cared for and treated ethically. Lanna Kingdom is doing amazing things and I would 100% book again!

If you’re not sure which ETHICAL Elephant sanctuary to go to, look no further! This beautiful Place is it. Where you are observing, helping feed and wash the elephants when the Elephants are keen to do so. We loved how they are free to roam and swim and eat as they please. Such an awesome team, creating a safe, fun and relaxed vibe, and we were served the yummiest pad thai for lunch. Alex was our tour guide, he is amazing! And so funny! Created lifelong memories here. We did the all day experience and everyone was so kind and patient. The guides were excellent with our children and kept them engaged and learning! They have rescued 6 elephants and we met 5 of them. They focus on small group interactions and we were the only 4 there during our time, lots of quality time with the elephants.

Amazing sanctuary where the Elephants are well taking care of like humans. You can walk with them, you can feed them, you can bath them and prepare their food. The people working there are all super nice and friendly and the lunch we ate was really good. Highly recommended, will definitely go back!
