Major
tourist
trap!
This
will
read
like
a
restaurant
review,
because
a
visit
here
essentially
is
a
visit
to
one
of
the
restaurants.
All
of
the
best
places
to
sit
are
taken
up
by
restaurants
encroaching
on
the
river
bank.
We
went
well
before
lunch
when
no
one
else
was
there,
but
they
were
very
pushy
for
us
to
order
a
lot
of
food.
Even
though
we
already
explained
that
we
intended
to
spend
some
time
there
and
continue
ordering,
they
insisted
on
us
ordering
more
and
more.
On
the
menu
was
a
note
that
there
is
a
"sitting
fee"
of
100
baht.
We
mistakenly
thought
that
if
we
order
a
decent
amount
of
food,
there
would
be
no
charge
for
sitting.
Eventually,
we
had
ordered
about
400
baht
worth
of
food.
Apparently
that
wasn't
good
enough
for
the
greedy
owners
of
this
place,
who
not
only
tacked
on
the
sitting
fee,
but
also
charged
us
for
food
that
we
NEVER
ORDERED,
causing
the
bill
to
more
than
double.
Water
was
50
baht.
Papaya
Salad
was
some
of
the
worst
we've
ever
had.
