Amazing waterfall in secluded section of nature outside of Chiang Rai. It requires a little hike but it’s worth it once you get there. The water is freezing but you can swim there and chill under the falls. We got lucky when we got there as it was completely empty but there was a big group coming down as we were leaving so I imagine it can get crowded at times. Definitely one of the top things you can see in Chiang Rai!

Nice fall, the highest in the region. Path to the fall is nice, about 1.5km ~20min walking.

High waterfall, always rich of water, amazing. The environment is fantastic. A 30 minutes trail from the parking to the waterfall. The last meters are a little slippery. There are some slopes, but not difficult. A registration at the entrance is required, but no tickets, neither for parking, nor for the waterfall, a sort of rarity.

Very well maintained pathway to the waterfall that is free to all. It is indeed quite a hike a little over about 800 meters. You may want to bring a bottle water and swimming gears as well as your cameras. Very beautiful and serene once you’re at the top where the waterfall is.

There is a camping area. The walk is 1.4 km to the Waterfall. The camping area has heaps of space and 2 restroom blocks. Very friendly staff. I was a little late (5pm) but the ranger still showed me the camp spot. The hike is pretty easy but sometimes slippery.

This is certainly the best waterfall in the area - no doubt. The path is easy to navigate, wide and just a couple of tricky spots. 1500 meters from the parking lot. Beautiful lush forest, butterflies, tons of bugs (easily the most bugs I have seen anywhere in Chiang Rai). The drive from town is so-so you are mainly on a normal (highway) road and only get rural the last few miles. The other waterfalls in the area have far more scenic roads getting there but as I mentioned above the payoff of the easy hike and spectacular waterfall is significant.

Lovely place! It wasn’t closed today, but when the weather hasn’t been great it will be closed. There have been some landslides along the path and even part of the path is closed due to that. Before entering the park, there are some guards where you need to sign in. If they let you in, it means the park is open. Simple as that I think. The waterfall itself is really slippery and you can’t swim, because it’s only knee deep. But for the daredevils you can try to get close to it. Not so touristic to, because it’s closed sometimes.

The walk to the waterfall is full of lovely jungle scenery, the trail is marked well and is easy to follow, there's a sign at the beginning of the trail warning of green pit viper snakes but did not see any snake's unfortunately 😞, you will need to bring your own water with you and should buy it before you arrive at the park as I did see any being sold at the park entrance, the waterfall looks cool and creates a refreshing mist as it cascades over the cliff and plunges to the bottom, The pool under the fall is not really suitable for swimming and you will need decent hiking sandals or water shoes if you choose to hike to the bottom of the fall as the rocks are quite slippery. Enjoy your time at Kun kon waterfall and don't forget to take your trash with you.

The trail was really nice. Entrance to the park is for free and parking lot is quite big. Toilets are nearby but not clean at all. From the parking lot to the waterfall it's approx. 30 min walk a little bit uphill. It's not challenging trail but I wouldn't wear slippers. We saw many different butterflies on our way with gorgeous colors. Be avare of green snakes, but we haven't seen any. On the otjer hand we saw two giant spiders - big as man's hand. Waterfall at the end of the trail is quite big and beautiful. It's worth a visit.

One of nicer waterfalls in this area. It is a half an hour walk on a well marked path. There is a free parking at the start of the trail. When you approach the waterfall, the path will split into two, both legs join however at the waterfall creating a loop. The path to the right leads to a small platform at the bottom of the waterfall, but it is rather slippery and you are likely to get soaked by the water sprayed in the air. The walk in a jungle is beautiful, not very challenging, very few steep spots. Definitely doable by families with children. The waterfall is not suitable for swimming but you can take a refreshing bath in the river next to the parking.

A very enjoyable short trek to the impressive waterfall at the end. Its quite a strenuous hike and very slippy if its rained recently but its very worth the effort. There was no entrance fee on my visit in Covid time.

A must visit in Chiang Rai! This time we decided to do a work meeting in a different place: Khun Korn Waterfall. Just 25 km out of town. With motorbike a nice ride. The last 1.5 km is hiking. It's worth your visit!

Great hike, did it in the earlier part of day so it was comfortable. You can get in the water at the base of the falls, but its a small space. Very few people are there if you go early. I went with two friends and we only saw two other people before 10am.

It worth every single steps and one of the must to do in chaing Rai,, if you are Alone don't be scared when you start walking on the jungle,, you will meet people infront of you or will follow you,, the wearing picture of the Green snake 🐍 at the beginning too scary than reality.

Second time here. Easy walk. Very big trees all around make you feel like being in the middle of a jungle, great for forest bath. Reaching the waterfall won't disappoint you.

1,4 km long trail through a mainly bamboo forest. Then 70 meters high waterfall. It was worthy to come

Nice trails but mismanagement with lots of check dams resulting in sand accumulating in the streams and destroying micro habitats of many aquatic animals including loaches

Waterfall was absolutely amazing and well worth the hike into the woods. The hike is almost 2 km, and the trail is in pretty good condition (just stay on the trail and you'll be fine).
