I like this resort a lot. Every room faces east so we can easily appreciate sunrise and the sea of clouds in the morning. I am not an early bird but I can still see this sunrise at 7.15am. Breakfast was awesome and homey. At night, we could choose to have moo krataa at a specific site. My room was spacious and authentic. It’s built using bamboos in the nearby woods. I also enjoyed a E-tan trip, traveling around the mountains on an old motor cart. We were taken to the tea plantation of the resort owner and enjoyed a short picnic there in the local style! It’s awesome! Highly recommended.

Love this resort. Can't recommend enough. It is away from Chiang Rai so you would need a vehicle. Great views to wake up to, fresh food from the kitchen garden, lots of hiking options, polite and helpful staff and a purposefully designed rustic rooms.meant to blend with nature.

Old rundown Facility, not worth for the price it’s 2 stars hotel that charge for 5 stars If facility is new this could be good place for nature lover but this is disappointing!!!! We are counting the night to pass to leave Facility: Run down - very old with stain/ malfunction window /door seal are not good many bugs can get in. We stay at upper mountain which should already be the upgraded room but not worth for the price Price: the price is equivalent to 5 stars Hoyle but this is at most 2 stars View : highlight of everything is the Mountain View but I can’t get out to the balcony - too many mosquitoes 🦟 we spray the bug spray but then it’s too toxic strong smell to sit there Bugs: it’s in the forest so if you like animal and bugs this is the place for you. Every steps around the facility has bugs all over Pool: very dirty full of leaves and the equipment around the pool are very old Equipment; no fridge and no tv ( ice cost 2$) Food: pizza and salmon cost about 1000 bath (30$)-(food + tip+ tax) salmon is small and not fresh very fishy smell. Pizza was ok but we ordered room service by the time food arrive the pizza was cold and crust was not crunchy. Food only get 4/10 Over all I m sad and feel rip off on this stay. I have been looking forward for back to nature stay at Phujaisai but no one In the group like the place and we checked out early 😩

We spent 5 nights in this resort in August 2022 and had overall a good experience. We stayed in a bamboo cottage which was very spacious. The view from the balcony was beautiful. To get to the resort you need to drive approximately 8 minutes on a dirt road. The breakfast was quite good. We had dinner in the resort twice, and found the quality of the food good. The way the resort is set up with many plants everywhere, we liked it a lot. One thing we did not like is the mosquitos that are everywhere in large quantities. This is part of the ‘back to nature’ experience but something you need to take into consideration when you consider to go to this resort. Bring plenty of mosquito repellent. There was a mosquito net around the bed, no problem with mosquitoes when we slept. When you want to do one of the hiking trails near the resort, know that some of them are not well marked and we had some issues caused by a mud slide. We were not properly equipped for the trail, wearing sneakers and shorts. We found the restaurant The Cave which is 15 minutes by car from the resort very good. The view from the swimming pool is stunning. The water in the swimming pool is not clear.

Superb location. Very private. In the middle of the mountain surrounded by forest. Great big room. Good food and have a few activities within the hotel for guests.

A big thanks to the team at Phu Chaisai Resort. We had a great stay. Special thanks to the driver who drove my wife to the Chang Rai hospital for some treatment. Amazing hospital amazing quick drive from the resort team, very reassuring. Phu Chaisai Resort is the kind of place you want to stay if you want to experience the North Thai jungle as close as it gets without risks. It has a real authentic feel to it, lovely garden and authentic accommodation in the nature with great views. It is not glitzy, polished 5*, for that, you'll have two go next door to a resort 10 min away. It has however real character and personality. Everything I wanted from a few nights chilling in a forest lodge.

Fantastic place to stay, on a mountain, in Chiang Rai province. The view from each room is incredible , while maintaining ones privacy. One also feels completely within nature at all times , due to the lush surroundings. The service from all the staff is also first class. I highly recommend this resort, and will hopefully return in the not so distant future.

A very special hotel at a very special place! I would definitely recommend Phu Chaisai Mountain Resort and I can guarantee it's nothing like any place you've ever been before. The air, the view, the food and tea - we absolutley loved our stay! The tour guide was super nice and showed us a lot of special spots with all his insider knowledge and stories. The only thing to keep in mind is, that this hotel is deep in the forest and you should a) plan beforehand how you intend to take trips and b) be okay with some bugs and wildlife here and there. Big moths, lizards, mosquitos, frogs and huge snails will greet you but also the cute local hotel cats! :) The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, all in all we canˋt wait to visit again!

Service nice, food good, but expensive rooms like love nest are overpriced compared to condition. Nature is beautiful!

The rooms kinda smell moldy, maybe because of the pandemic made the resort to lack maintenance..

If you are one to enjoy the wilderness and the sounds of nature. This place is a hidden gem. We booked the cottage with a bath outside and it was relaxing to sit and enjoy the view . The spa experience was awesome. I suggest book a car from the airport so that you are mobile there are lots of places to visit.

Pretty far out from towns but it was a very nice place to spend a day or 2 away from the bustling places. A good place to spend in solitude, if you like being among nature of trees, treks, insects and little animals 😃 the rooms are big and have all facilities for a few nights stay. Used data network and could still stay connected to the Internet 😂

North Thailand's hidden gem and best kept secret! A luxurious bamboo and clay preserved resort with private cottages and magnificent valley views from all around. Excellent service, rooms are spacious with a great view (go for boutique Mountain Cottage and you will have your hot tub outside in your balcony for a magical experience), place is decorated by beautiful statues and artifacts, and plenty of space to walk around in lush green nature. Many activities to do including E-tan tour of their private tea plantations within the 800 acre Phu Chaisai Estate, panoramic Bamboo rafting in the river, and Golden Gate is 45 kinutes drive away. Did some fantastic massages in their Spa Village, outdoor yoga on one of their terraces, swimming in an infinity pool, and walking around the pond with wonderful colored fish. They also have a nearby Hill Tribes cafe, 15 minute drive from the resort a beautiful cafe and restaurant on a mountain top with fabulous views and rose gardens. Coming back there in May and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone for an exceptional stay!

Loved this organic, earthy place. The entire grounds are impeccable and the staff is super friendly. The views are incredible as is the pool. Wished I could have stayed here longer than 2 nights. Will definitely be back. Amazing haven for respite after a day of exploration.

We stayed at Phu Chainsai for 4 nights. Love every bit of it apart from it's sort of far from lots of tourists attractions as mostly in city but since the resort is on top of the mountain with stunning view to wake up in the morning for. We wouldn't mind so much. Love having breakfast with stunning view. Stuffs are so nice and friendly. We had our couple massage which is so good. Thank you so much for "Wawa and one other masseuse apologies that I couldn't remember her name but we had such a great time. They know what they are doing. Over all we had good time in phu chai sai ❤️

The environment is beautiful and peaceful. We constantly heard noise from ceiling in the night. Remember to bring mosquito repellent. Not recommend to bring little baby here due to mosquito. The hiking trails nearby resort are okay. Not so much to see actually. But the trail toward to chicken farm/ vegetable farm is not properly developed and is very slippery. Please don’t walk to chicken farm (Purple trail).

Nice and cozy, a good place for relax. big room and clean. convenience, the drive way is easy compare to other mountain resorts. They have small beautiful herbs and flowers garden infront of the restaurant. The foods also good.

This really is a beautiful hotel. Set on the hillside, maximising the views at any points, you really can’t not be wow’ed from all the different spots around the hotel. The planting is exceptionally well thought out and makes it feel like you’re in someone’s magical home. A lot of attention to detail went into the overall ethos and you’ll see so many fun quirky design elements. The rooms are big and well thought out. The restaurant has a really varied menu and is well priced. It probably needs to get back on its feet a little bit as tourism bounces back but really can’t wait to go back
