Probably still your best option in Chiang Rai, but our experience was not so positive. If no problems would've accured we probably would have given higher rates like everyone else, but I think it's important how a company reacts when you're in trouble. I'll share the pro's and cons: + fair prices (same like Chiang Mai) + full face helmets + safety jackets available + the bigger bikes (not the Honda CB 300) got top cases and bags + we got the money we spent on transportation and repair of the broken bike back in the end - in the office different people told us different prices and different availability, confusing aspecially since not all of them spoke English very well so it was hard to explain what others told us (Brian wasn't there) - when the chain broke down while driving (really scary!) after 2,5 days and we called for help they told us it was our fault: we shouldn't have driven so far!? Who rents a bike for €40/day and is planning on only drive 1 hour/day with it? - My girlfriend was panicking when we were in the middle of nowhere without a chain, still 1,5 hour drive from our destination (Pai, already payed for our hostel), and no one who spoke English. The communication in English with the company was not so clear (maybe also because of phone connection?). We suggested taking a taxi (if possible with the bike) to Pai and let it be fixed there, if they would pay us back, what they refused. No clear answer came of what to do with the bike. In the end some Thai did arrange a pick-up for us which was expensive. By then (hours later) they did call back to say they would pay the repair. - we spent 2700 Thai baht in total and were unable to drive the next day since the bike had to be repaired. When we arrived back in Chiang Rai on our last day (half a day earlier than the agreement we had, because they asked and wanted to check the bike), they only wanted to pay half of what we spent. We refused and in the end we got 3000 baht, but we we're all upset and atmosphere was below zero. Conclusion: a chain breaking could've been way worse if at that moment we were driving fast or very steep. Now we could barely hold the bike, but succeeded in preventing it from falling. We were lucky. But instead of all this discussion we'd rather had the company help us in the first place, and not trying to put the blame on us. When you rent a bike here, make clear agreements on who to call when something happens, and who pays in what scenario. Ofcourse we would've payed if we did anything wrong, but we didn't and this felt very unfair.

1 extra star because the bike was ok, but returning my bike was really troublesome. I had a bus to take at 9:00, and the shop ON THE CONTRACT we signed was supposed to open at 8:00, so i had enough time to return the bike and travel to the bus station. I was there at 8o clock and called several times to check what time they would open and at every call they were always 5 minutes away from the shop. In the end a super friendly woman that works next door Café helped us and gave us herself the money for the deposit back, cause at 8:40 still nobody showed up. Just because of her we managed to catch the bus, cause at the time of the last call they were still apparently 3kms away. Luckily we are in Thailand and there is always somebody willing to help a stranger

Excellent customer service here; was referred to by another rental shop that was out of bikes. They speak good English and have very reasonable conditions before getting you on a bike. Auto Honda Click THB250/day - just had to pay for the # of rental days at the beginning and that was it. Very straightforward and honest business. They have a bunch of manual / dirt bikes and protective gear too.

Best rental and service in all of Chiang Rai and perfectly located next to the Clock Round about and close to the central night bazaar area. Rented a bike for 250 Baht a day, and crashed it on last day accident. They were very helpful and professional in resolving the matter, with a humble smile and so much hospitality. Will always rent my scooters and bikes from there. Highly recommended.

Rented a honda click for 4 days, reasonable prices and the bike was in good condition. They had scooter and bigger motorbikes. I left my passport instead of deposit and it was returned with no problems whatsoever. The guys were really friendly and reassuring and gave us some advice before we left. We would recommend this shop if you wish to rent in Chiang Rai. Thanks a lot guys. :)

Rented a Yamaha Aerox 155. The bike had great tires, brakes were very good and bike was in great condition. Rode 500km throughout Chiangmai region and had absolutely no issues with the bike. Rental was easy, the guys at the shop were great. I extended my rental and they made the changes easy. Great rental company.

Excellent service, great support with the choice and setup of bikes, very reasonable pricing. Also helped out arranging a guide for a personal tour, the Famous Kitt Tiger! Best money we ever spent, we got to go places and see things that the usual tourist just wouldn't. 5 star service for us !!

FYI I use the rating system to remind me to do a review but computer problems have limited my time. You seem not to to have wondered if there were reasons for the late addition of the review in which I would have stated although I was unable to do what I had hoped there are lots and lots of satisfied customers and my review may be unrepresentative. Your response about my actions was therefor, in my opinion a little unfair and jumped to conclusions. I am surprised this has come back I wrote this over a year ago. Once again; I entered a brief prompt to remind me to review. You comment that you never received an email from me, what email, no email was requested or promised. If you want further information on what was a non review as you complained before I had time to do a review I will add to the review but as I have said before, the system allows users, one could say encourages users to simply give a star rating. I use this as a prompt to do a fuller review in time.

This was a great place to rent a bike. Super easy, pick what you want, leave a deposit, grab a helmet and you're good to go. English speaking owner is just a phone call away and super friendly to deal with should you need to. They have a great selection of bikes of all sizes and varieties plus plenty of gear should you need it. Bikes are in nice shape. We rented a 125cc Honda Click for 3 days for 750 baht. Deposit was returned without issue. Recommend!

(Translated by Google) Everything went very well, got a scooter for 500 THB for 2 days and when we brought him back mine even got money back! Only minus point: you get no explanations for the scooter, but if you have rented a scooter more often is not bad! This must be the best place for motorcycle rentals in all of northern Thailand. Our family rented two CRF250s for 12 days from here. The bikes were well maintained and the service was excellent. The rental price includes any gear you might need including helmets, jackets, gloves, paniers, etc. Got lots of useful advice on conditions and route selection which gave us amazing rides every day. It was a great experience and will definitely be back next time we're in Northern Thailand. Thanks to the team at CRBBR, it was a 1,100km Xmas road trip the family will cherish.

Many variety of bikes. Specialised in big bikes but rented a 125cc scooter from them and it was good for 200bht for 24 hours. The boss wasn't really around and wanted to ask about route to Phu Chi Fa but the staff was not very knowledgeable. Otherwise, a good place to rent your bike.

Great place with a large choice of big bikes, helmets and gear. Reasonable prices, bike boxes are free of charge, which is rare. They are not asking for passport, you may leave some money as a deposit. I was impressed by emergency service - At the last day of my trip, 100kms away from the Chiang Rai, up in the mountains my clutch cable broke, I called Bryan, explained the situation and prepared to wait from 2 to 3 hours, but in 1 hour Bryan came, picked us up, spent 2 hours in traffic jam on our way back entertaining me and my wife with a cool stories about life in Northern Thailand.

Best rental service in all of Chiang Rai... maybe all of Thailand. If you go to Chiang Rai and are in need to rent either big bike or moped this is your only choice. They went above and beyond to make our trip the best it could be. All bikes are very well maintained and in great condition. They went above and beyond in every way possible to ensure we had all the gear and knowledge needed for a multi-day tour around the northern provinces. I showed up to rent a 650cc Versys and arrived at the shop just after closing. Given that I needed the bike the next morning to start my trip, I called the owner via Facebook to see if there was anyway I could rent a bike that evening as the shop closed moments before I arrive. I spoke to the western owner, who at the moment of our call, was in a completely different country and time zone. He said, he would call his wife to see if he could have someone come by and open the shop and to wait 15 minutes and call him back. No less than 10 minutes later a man shows up to open the shop for us. The rental process was easy, straight forward, and fast. We opted for the cash deposit option rather than leaving the passport. We rented gloves, helmets, riding jackets, and paneers as well. The man at the shop spoke great English and spent about 20 minutes extra with me, walking me through possible routes and pointing out interesting things to see along the way. Again, above and beyond as the shop was meant to be closed at that time. The next morning we departed towards the eastern hills. Unfortunately, along the way as I parked the bike on the side of the road my foot stand sunk in the soft ground and the bike tipped down to the asphalt side and snapped the foot peg off. The next morning we returned to the shop to ask if the foot-peg could be fixed and we could continue to ride this bike. Instead he offered us to rent a newer model of the exact same bike at the same rate. Given the mountainous type of riding we were doing, we opted for a lighter weight option similar to what most Thais in the area drive as we found them to be more maneuverable in the narrow, steep, and uneven mountainous roads. We asked to exchange the bike for something lighter and it was seamless. He handed us a new pair of keys, explained how the new bike worked, gave us back the cash difference between the original rental price and the new bikes daily rate and sent us on our way. The return process was absolutely seamless as well. Given the damage to the foot-peg of the bike I was a bit concerned that our entire deposit would be forfeit as I have had bad experiences with other rental companies in Thailand over minor damage where the 'repair' costs were exorbitantly more than what they should be. Before arriving to the shop to return the rental I looked up the cost of an OEM replacement foot-peg just to get an idea of what it might cost to be replaced. They were absolutely more than fair in the price they collected for the damage. When the bill came we did not feel taken advantage of in the slightest. To the contrary, It ended up costing less than expected and they were very understanding. Overall this is the best of the best in Moto rentals in Chiang Rai. Would recommend them to anyone. Hope to rent again from them next time I am in Chiang Rai.

(Translated by Google) First time I took the plunge to rent a "big cube" in Thailand, and following the reviews on the web I fell very well by going here. The cards of the golden triangle rider are also on sale at the shop. Several machines available, from 125 to 650cc, for mid-size equipment are included (offered): helmet, jacket and gloves (minimalist, however), handlebar clamp for the smartphone, top case and rider suitcase. Note the presence of USB port on the handlebars on the versys. Cash or security deposit. At the time of making the bike, no cinema on false scratch or other, feeling of a real relationship of trust with the owners, bikers themselves obviously. I will definitely stay here again. Note: -no police control as is the case in Chiang mai, but I still recommend the international license which is free - considering the number of viralos and very short, I would recommend starting on a smaller capacity to gain maneuverability. This shop is managed by serious and honest guys, no scam, just trust, I recommend! Again, thank you! This shop is managed by serious and honest guys, no scam, just trust, I recommand! Again, thank you!

Rented 3 motorcycles (Kawaski Versys 650 and Honda CB650) from here for a day trip up to Doi Chang and the White Temple. Bikes were in good condition and the staff was friendly and helpful. We got delayed coming back to Chiang Rai and the shop was able to let us return the bikes after hours. One of the only places in Chiang Rai that has true motorcycle rentals - many other places are only scooters.

The owner was super cool. Good selection of CRF 250's and a handful of other bikes too. Leave a cash deposit or your passport. He did good business with me.

We hired a 150cc scooter for 3 days. We rode up into the mountains to Phu Chi Fa and further north. Stayed overnight. Very steep hills, some apparently 16 percent grade but the little bike did well. Jackets and helmets supplied and a bracket to hold the mobile phone for navigation as well - that was a great help. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and well maintained bike Would definitely use them again, maybe even get a larger bike for a bit of fun.

Easy and straightforward farang owned service. 5000 baht deposit + 250 per day for a click + passport copy. My stop lights weren't working, mirrors were hardly adjustable, so check things before you go - brakes, lights, mirrors, etc. Otherwise no hassle. Sent is 24h, not "per day" as at some places - I got my bike at 13:00 and returned basically 3 light days later. Recommended.

I rented a semi automatic bike here for 200 baht a day. The bike was quite new and turned out to be a great choice. If you're traveling through the mountains you might consider something more powerful than 125cc though.

If you need a bike when in Chiang Rai, no need to look any further, these guys have got you covered. Hired some dirt bikes to take into Laos and Brian sorted out all the paperwork for the border crossing and all went smoothly. Very good prices, nothing is a problem for them and I love the straight up no nonsense attitude. Bikes were really well prepared and maintained, great storage options for your gear, plenty of spares provided to get you out of trouble if you happened to have a problem and nothing was too much trouble for Brian or his staff in making sure we were well prepared. They even fitted up a mobile phone cradle and charger to the handlebars so as we could use the phone as our map using an app we had prepared in advance. My mate and i have done scores of rides throughout Asia over the years and Chiang Rai Big Bike Rentals are right at the top of the list of companies we have hired bikes from. Thanks for everything Brian and team, you're legends, we will definitely see you again in the future! Cheers, Warren and Graeme.

Best rental experience I’ve come across while travelling. Honest service, honest prices, no haggling, no surprises. I enjoyed renting from here. Was easy and straight forward. Picked the bike and helmet, filled out my paperwork, too photos of the scooter before I left, paid my money and hit the road. Key thing, take photos of anything you rent! When u returned the bike, they asked if I had crashed. I had not, but they pointed out damage on the bike. However, me producing pictures showing the damage already existed ended that conversation. They apologized and gave me my deposit back. I was pleased with everything, the bike, service, ease of rental. Just also glad I took photos...
