Best
rental
service
in
all
of
Chiang
Rai...
maybe
all
of
Thailand.
If
you
go
to
Chiang
Rai
and
are
in
need
to
rent
either
big
bike
or
moped
this
is
your
only
choice.
They
went
above
and
beyond
to
make
our
trip
the
best
it
could
be.
All
bikes
are
very
well
maintained
and
in
great
condition.
They
went
above
and
beyond
in
every
way
possible
to
ensure
we
had
all
the
gear
and
knowledge
needed
for
a
multi-day
tour
around
the
northern
provinces.
I
showed
up
to
rent
a
650cc
Versys
and
arrived
at
the
shop
just
after
closing.
Given
that
I
needed
the
bike
the
next
morning
to
start
my
trip,
I
called
the
owner
via
Facebook
to
see
if
there
was
anyway
I
could
rent
a
bike
that
evening
as
the
shop
closed
moments
before
I
arrive.
I
spoke
to
the
western
owner,
who
at
the
moment
of
our
call,
was
in
a
completely
different
country
and
time
zone.
He
said,
he
would
call
his
wife
to
see
if
he
could
have
someone
come
by
and
open
the
shop
and
to
wait
15
minutes
and
call
him
back.
No
less
than
10
minutes
later
a
man
shows
up
to
open
the
shop
for
us.
The
rental
process
was
easy,
straight
forward,
and
fast.
We
opted
for
the
cash
deposit
option
rather
than
leaving
the
passport.
We
rented
gloves,
helmets,
riding
jackets,
and
paneers
as
well.
The
man
at
the
shop
spoke
great
English
and
spent
about
20
minutes
extra
with
me,
walking
me
through
possible
routes
and
pointing
out
interesting
things
to
see
along
the
way.
Again,
above
and
beyond
as
the
shop
was
meant
to
be
closed
at
that
time.
The
next
morning
we
departed
towards
the
eastern
hills.
Unfortunately,
along
the
way
as
I
parked
the
bike
on
the
side
of
the
road
my
foot
stand
sunk
in
the
soft
ground
and
the
bike
tipped
down
to
the
asphalt
side
and
snapped
the
foot
peg
off.
The
next
morning
we
returned
to
the
shop
to
ask
if
the
foot-peg
could
be
fixed
and
we
could
continue
to
ride
this
bike.
Instead
he
offered
us
to
rent
a
newer
model
of
the
exact
same
bike
at
the
same
rate.
Given
the
mountainous
type
of
riding
we
were
doing,
we
opted
for
a
lighter
weight
option
similar
to
what
most
Thais
in
the
area
drive
as
we
found
them
to
be
more
maneuverable
in
the
narrow,
steep,
and
uneven
mountainous
roads.
We
asked
to
exchange
the
bike
for
something
lighter
and
it
was
seamless.
He
handed
us
a
new
pair
of
keys,
explained
how
the
new
bike
worked,
gave
us
back
the
cash
difference
between
the
original
rental
price
and
the
new
bikes
daily
rate
and
sent
us
on
our
way.
The
return
process
was
absolutely
seamless
as
well.
Given
the
damage
to
the
foot-peg
of
the
bike
I
was
a
bit
concerned
that
our
entire
deposit
would
be
forfeit
as
I
have
had
bad
experiences
with
other
rental
companies
in
Thailand
over
minor
damage
where
the
'repair'
costs
were
exorbitantly
more
than
what
they
should
be.
Before
arriving
to
the
shop
to
return
the
rental
I
looked
up
the
cost
of
an
OEM
replacement
foot-peg
just
to
get
an
idea
of
what
it
might
cost
to
be
replaced.
They
were
absolutely
more
than
fair
in
the
price
they
collected
for
the
damage.
When
the
bill
came
we
did
not
feel
taken
advantage
of
in
the
slightest.
To
the
contrary,
It
ended
up
costing
less
than
expected
and
they
were
very
understanding.
Overall
this
is
the
best
of
the
best
in
Moto
rentals
in
Chiang
Rai.
Would
recommend
them
to
anyone.
Hope
to
rent
again
from
them
next
time
I
am
in
Chiang
Rai.
