Very much open right now for flower festival. Seperate entrance and exit and they ask for proof of vaccination on entry. Digital copy is fine. A number of flowers beds across the site with AstroTurf (Artificial Grass) as pathways. Several places set up for people to have selfies taken either with real flowers, or painted backdrop of flowers. Thai ladies seem to love having their photos taken with flowers. Very colourful displays, free to visit.

Been here on January 2018 during ASEAN Flower festival. The Chiang Rai Flower Festival will be held from end of December till end of January every year at this park. If you are in Chiang Rai during this period, must plan a visit to this park. It is admission FREE. The highlight of the flower festival is the tulip flowers. You can see many colourful tulip flowers without going to Netherlands. There is musical performance on the stage during evening and night time. The local Thai people also call this park as Suan Tung Lae Khom or Tung Garden. Don’t be confused.

A place where beautiful flower events are held in Chiang Rai city every year.

Chiang Rai Flower Fair, 20th year, year 2023-2024, on 28 December 2023 - 15 January 2024 at Suan Tung and Khom Nakhon Chiang Rai. And you can visit the flower garden for free from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., except Saturday until 11:00 p.m.

The park was possibly closed because it might be only opened during flowers festival. I went there and all flores were not fully maintained. Luckily, noon market was opened and we could enjoy some local foods.

A nice place to recover from the hustle and bustle of the city. The days before and after the Flower Festival allow you to admire the creations without rushing, far from the crowds. If you like flowers you will love it. For me, who is not particularly a fan of flowers, I nevertheless had a good, colorful and free time 😉

Fantastic park with all sorts of jungle Jim's, slides and swings for the kids or full size basketball court for adults. Picnic tables to enjoy the various activities and treats of the food vendors which are abundant

In the center of Chiang Rai. Green park, fabulous flower structures of different shapes and colours. Nice place to go chill. Really near of the market. You would like to pass by and see.
