If you are even remotely interested in Virtual Reality you have to put this spot on your list! Awesome setup with a complete bar and they allow you to bring in food and snacks! We had such a good time and the owner was never far away in case we needed help or a quick laugh. Very personable and welcoming. After we left the first thing our 18 year old son said is that he wanted to come back here after graduation from USMC bootcamp so I guess we will see you later this year! Thank you for a fun and memorable experience. Awesome selection of games and pricing is very reasonable. So glad we chose this option.

Great Music & Comedy nights in the back room stage area. Fun karoake and trivia nights. Excellent CBD drinks. The virtual reality is well maintained. Clean bar with cool bathrooms. It only seems to stay open til about midnight, but feels worth it since it opens early.

This place was super fun, very friendly, extremely safe, and consistently accommodating! Being in Chicago, in winter during a pandemic can be challenging. I booked a 2-hour small party for my 8-turning-9 year old's birthday party. It was simply amazing. I had 6 total guests: 4 adults and 2 children (8 and 11 year old). As soon as we stepped in, we were warm welcomed. The venue was immaculate, sanitized, with convenient hand sanitizers throughout. The staff gave amazing instructions which made it super user-friendly. I absolutely recommend this place!! If you have any questions, comments or concerns - especially about COVID restrictions - call and talk to management. Aaron was super helpful and made sure our party went smooth, easy and convenient. Thanks guys!! FYI: They have an amazing full bar. You can bring your own cake, food and decorations too!

Came for a friend’s birthday. My fiancé had a medical emergency and fainted, fell and hit his head, and lost consciousness. Instead of stopping the game so we could get him some help, they decided it was appropriate to just give him some ginger ale, tell him people get sick all the time doing this, and give him a $20 off coupon for next time. There will be no next time. They let the rest of us play on not knowing anything had happened while he sat there. We have since had to take him to the hospital. Plus, the group across the room from us playing skee ball were screaming so loud that we couldn’t even enjoy the game to begin with. Just a bad experience all the way around.

We hosted my 10 year old's birthday party here with 5 of his friends for a virtual reality escape room. The kids had a blast, despite only getting 43% of the challenge completed! We brought in pizza and cake and ordered a pitcher of lemonade from the bar. I had no idea how things worked & the staff was so helpful and accommodating. We really appreciated their patience and guidance. It was a birthday party to remember! *make sure kids use the bathroom before your start time!

***** Redline VR - An Unforgettable Experience! ***** I recently had the pleasure of visiting Redline VR, and I cannot express enough how incredible the entire experience was! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly positive and helpful, making sure everyone felt comfortable and excited for the adventure ahead. The VR service they provided was top-notch! The selection of games and experiences was extensive, catering to both beginners and seasoned VR enthusiasts. Whether you're a gamer or just looking for a unique way to have fun, Redline VR has something for everyone. The atmosphere in Redline VR was simply amazing. The futuristic and well-designed setup transported me to another world, adding to the immersion and excitement of the virtual reality experience. It was clean, well-maintained, and everything seemed so organized, making the overall visit a breeze. I must say, the time I spent at Redline VR was nothing short of spectacular. I had an absolute blast, and I can't wait to return for more adventures! The entire team's passion for virtual reality and their dedication to ensuring customers have a fantastic time shines through in every aspect of their service. If you're looking for an unforgettable time filled with fun, positive energy, and mind-blowing virtual reality experiences, look no further than Redline VR. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something new, as well as seasoned VR enthusiasts seeking the next level of immersion. Five stars all the way!

Great space, wonderful staff! Head there with a group of friends to play... But it's more than what you might think from the name. VR is a blast, but there's much more: stop in for the craft cocktails and local beers, and check out that insta for their pop-up events! If you're looking for a fun experience at a family-owned gem, head over!

Staff is kind and helpful and very friendly. Great drinks and really chill vibe to get a beverage. The whole VR experience isn't something I'd recommend. We had to split our party up across the facility and two of our four machines were broken for about 1/3rd of the event. Most people got frustrated and gave up. Good vibes to hang out, just not a polished experience given the price. Check out their many other events.

Redline VR is a colorful, eclectic venue that I highly, highly recommend for both adults' and children's parties. The space is warm and sophisticated at the same time, and my group of 39/40-year-old friends really enjoyed the VR, the cocktail bar, the intimacy of the dining set up, and the big Raven Room where drag performances, talkbacks and karaoke were all on offer. We would love to see a second Redline VR open near Argyle or Skokie, home to demographics that would probably appreciate it as much as it deserves to be appreciated. As the party co-planner, I have to say that I enjoyed interacting with owner Aaron and definitely recommend him as an events liaison. Finally - shout out to the brilliant John Ross Wilson who created much of the art that makes Redline VR so visually stunning.

Great atmosphere. It is wildly nerdy but if that is your vibe you will have a great time. The drinks are fun and the venue may just hit the spot if you are looking for something a little different.

I love the shows here and variety of activities. From theater to drag to VR to karaoke and they are open to trying all kinds of new programming. Definitely come enjoy a show or two here throughout the week. It’s very fun and a safe inclusive environment. One star is missing because of the bar. They don’t have a soda gun. They use unfiltered tap water. They don’t have fruit. The list of cocktails and drinks change frequently and the bartenders don’t know what the new ones are. If you order a vodka soda they will carbonate the tap water and use store bought lime juice. Half the time the carbonation doesn’t work and they serve it anyway. For this reason, I don’t recommend getting any cocktails here. Stick to canned beverages. This isn’t a reflection on the bartenders at all, they are great and work with what they are given. The second star is missing because of a rude response from the owner that I saw on a review here. Totally uncalled for and makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

This place is a perfect space to work away from home. With everything going on, I like many others have been forced to work from home. Some of us can only handle being at the house for so many hours. And others of us get so distracted by things that need to be done in the home. Come here to become free of all those at home distractions and get your work done distraction free. The staff is super nice and they are doing a great job abiding by covid standards. The tables are super spread out and you get a whole space to yourself. It is so much better than a coffee shop because of the amount of space and the number of outlets. I always have a hard time finding outlets when I go to cafes and its seems like everybody coming in and out can be so distracting! At Redline VR, you really get your own little space and its so nice for focus! Not to mention it is beautifully designed! The bathroom is a nice surprise! Definitely a win win situation! Lucky for me, it is right around the corner from my house! As for the VR, I haven't tried it yet, but I am sure I will soon! If you need a distraction free desk space because you are tired of working from home this is definitely the place for you!

Redline VR staff went above and beyond to make my son's 8th birthday party a fun event! We had eight 7-8 year old boys and they did a good job wrangling them, providing things for them to do, etc. My husband and I are excited to go back (sans kids) for a fun date night!

👍👍 We had encore tickets for Dec 4 and did the Houdini Escape Artist: Last Seance room. The staff were friendly and informative, even when they were in character giving hints. The escape room was challenging but engaging. We had 5 in our group, so teamwork was necessary. I was amazed with the artistic...

👍👍 Really good. Super accommodating. Jim helps us as needed. We did the “wizard” puzzle and the “red wire” Setting for the wizard trials was Magical. Really loved it. I think we needed one hint or two. One of the areas didn’t work properly. But quickly was helped by Jim. I liked the red wire best. It...
