Very late on this post, but better late than never. Used to live in Chicago and have always dealt with Sylvia. She’s extremely knowledgeable, and just an overall great person to deal with. Live in Florida now and came all the way to Diamonds on Wabash to buy my wife’s engagement ring & wedding ring. We even purchased my wedding ring there as well. That’s how great I think they are! Quality diamonds at a great price is what they are about. My wife gets so many compliments on her ring all of the time. ❤️

Sheila was welcoming and super friendly throughout our engagement ring shopping experience. She explained the design and review process well, and her convivial nature made it impossible to purchase elsewhere. Wonderful service and great price! I bought a wedding band here and Sheila and team were extremely helpful, responsive and fast! They helped me hit a tight turnaround window and I would HIGHLY recommend this spot to anyone looking for engagement or wedding rings! While there are a lot of diamond shops in that area, this one really stands out. Their shop is clean and classy, people are wonderful and quality is high!

The service was extremely helpful and friendly. They did their best to help me find the right chain for a special gift of an older pendant. The price was comparable to the other places, and they cleaned my older piece and placed them together in a classy box for a nice presentation.

I was recommended to come here by my inlaw's for an engagement ring as they have been here before and was always 100% satisfied. The ladies are extremely knowledgeable and are very helpful. They showed us many rings to try our taste and eventually we found the perfect one. The price was EXTREMELY competitve and the ring was worth every cent! We were told that we can come back and resize the ring free of charge which was excellent. My girlfriend was shocked at how beautifull the ring was when i proposed that she forgot to say yes. I had to ask 3 times, she just melted after seing the ring! The best part was after resizing the ring, the owners offered to drop the ring off to our home as we were stuck in the snow. From the first phone call with a friendly helpful woman named Sylvia to the 2 subsequent visits to the shop on Wabash to drop off n pick up, they treated me like a well know friend. And…. The repair is brilliantly perfect and the shine on this antique gold school ring will ensure that it lasts another 108 years in our family. The staff in here were great! From showing us different designs and explaining the differences in colour and clarity to ensuring they got the right ring size from my girlfriend. There attention to detail was flawless. I decided last minute on the Saturday, whilst visiting Chicago, that id like to buy the ring, but had a flight home on the Monday. We worked with one of the most genuine people there who welcomed my fiancé, mother in law and myself as if we were walking into her own home. Sheila was very helpful throughout the whole process as we looked at every single diamond style there was finally picking out the one that my fiancé wanted and selecting the band she wanted to do. When we finally agreed to what we wanted Sheila gave us a breakdown of everything explaining how everything works and what will come with purchasing the ring. Love Diamonds On Wabash! I have been going to DOW for over 13 years and I don’t even live in Illinois! I have purchased numerous pieces of beautiful jewelry and have had custom pieces made there. I also own a few antique and vintage pieces of jewelry and have traveled to DOW for repairs. The lovely ladies at DOW are not mere acquaintances… they are my friends…❤️

My experience at the store was Great! Sylvia is just the sweetest person ever, taking her time to be encouraging through out the entire process. My fiancé and I shopped every store in the area for an engagement ring and the pricing here in particular was the best I had seen. The service was honest, fair, without pressure. Other stores were poor in interior design which was indicative of the over priced items and the pushy unethical store counter service attendants. You don’t want to go to those stores. You want this one.
