Not s family friendly place at all. A waiter didn't allow to give our own water to my two years old kid, saying that they can sell water to us. We asked for an empty glass and didn't get it. Food is ordinary. Service is quick though.

Way more expensive than what i would have paid for the quality of the food.

I would like to share what the food is like however, we were treated so rudely for not speaking German we left without sitting down.

We were so excited to try this brewery/ restaurant. We speak social German as my grandmother was from the region and can place an order and have a simple conversation. You could tell that they didn’t want us (Americans) there and frequently ignored us to help others around us. I read several reports of scamming on the bill so when the time came to pay, I made sure to really check it over. They charged us for food we didn’t order or receive, too many drinks and coffee that we didn’t order. It totaled more than 20 Euros extra. When we asked the waitress about it, we were met with pushback and really had to argue it. Had we not have spoken as much German, I’m sure we would have blindly paid too much and had even worse service. It took over 30 minutes for her to “fix” our bill as she was probably trying to wait us out so we would just leave. The setting was beautiful and the food was good but buyer beware.

Nice place on the Fraueninsel, great patio, the service is very friendly and fast even when super busy. The food however or at least what I tried wasn't the best. I had olives and feta cheese and that's exactly what I got, no seasoning, dressing or anything. Then the smoked fish cold and kind of bland I thought. I'd still recommend to give it a try if you like a smaller, more comfortable place to eat than the other restaurants on the island.

Good German food. Did not take cards, however.

we were deeply impressed by the quality of food and organic beer and wine when we had a party with 50 guests there. service and their help with party preparations were absolutely brilliant, and made our wedding reception with their can-do attitude a great success. by far the best location for a wedding reception on the island. plus, their organic beer and wine won't give you any regrets the day after!

We really enjoyed the beef goulash, but spätzle served as a side to it, could definitely be better. My husband ordered oven-potatoes, it was mediocre, some more flavor could definitely make this dish better.
