DON'T PASS UP ON AN AWESOME STAY! Great hotel, large rooms, pools are fabulous and very clean hotel. Staff outside parking cars are very friendly & professional. Front desk staff are down-to-earth and very knowledgeable. Staff that try to incentivize you to buy a timeshare are persistent and will call your room but a simple NO (if not interested) will do without attitude.

Location is great, far enough from the noise of the strip but can catch the shuttle to the strip. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly. My only issue is parking...the have complimentary valet but if you self park and need a handicap spot there are only about 4 spots close to the door.

Really enjoyed the hotel and it was great for when all of my family needed to stay together. Had just a few snags where we called to have some towels taken out of the room and no one showed. And also the house cleaning service wasn't offered as complimentary for 1 day considering that we stayed there for 6 nights. We either had to pay for house cleaning everyday as an extra charge and couldn't just do 1 or 2 days. Or get no house cleaning services at all. Other than that it was nice.

We had several rooms here for my son's wedding over Halloween weekend. Staff were fantastic. Easy check in. Very helpful when we had deliveries--food, Walmart, flowers. Lobby was decorated nicely for Halloween. Pool area was really nice. They have shuttles to/from Caesar's that we took advantage of. You can walk to strip or Rio/Gold Coast in 20 minutes. Group had really good luck at Gold Coast Casino slots and added bonus less crowded and no one smoking! Thanks Wyndham!!

Everything about this hotel is amazing! The staff are super friendly, the outdoor space is amazing and the food at the poolside restaurant was outstanding! The views from the hotel are incredible as well. Las Vegas is such a great place to visit, and this hotel is definitely where you want to stay. The rooms are very clean and nice and big. Overall a great hotel!

You have to pay for basic room service and the sofa bed offered was already dirty and just felt gross. Rooms are quite spacious and the hotel still generally looked clean. The pools and facilities all look quite nice too

I have always wanted to stay at this property, having seen it many times passing by on the freeway. I had to go to Vegas on business for three days and decide to use points to book this hotel. I am glad I did. Location is great on Twain with easy access to Sammy Davis Dr and Industrial which run parallel to the Strip. Non-casino hotel which was nice too. Very relaxed and chill atmosphere. All the staff were exceptional, especially the pool lifeguards and housekeeping. Nice, clean gym and two pools and hot tubs to enjoy. My room (#351) was at the end of the hall tucked away in a corner that provided privacy and quiet and enjoyable stay. The hotel doesnโ€™t have the frantic pace that other casino properties always seem to have. My only negative comment is to note the smell of the floor once I got off the elevator (3rd floor) which was unpleasant. Thanks for a nice stay.

Everything was GREAT!!! Beautiful lobby/pool, lovely & clean rooms. The staff was outstanding; they went above & beyond to provide excellent service. The only downside is that there isn't anything (stores/restaurants) nearby, because this resort is off the strip, but my group & I didn't mind that at all; we loved the peacefulness of not being on the strip. I know exactly where I'm staying the next time I'm in Vegas.

Excellent, very clean hotel with very comfortable beds if you are looking for a place off the strip. It's about a $10 Uber (plus tip) or a 20-25 min walk to the strip. The unexpected timeshare pitch upon arrival was annoying (just say "absolutely not" to free tickets if you are not interested in buying a timeshare).

We booked a room for one week. We had a view of the strip, very private. The market had everything u forgot or needed. They have a shuttle to the strip. The pool is the spot! They had loungers in the pool, there was a bar and restaurant there as well. Checking was nuts, the lady was rude and couldn't explain to me the whole cart thing for luggage and instead directed me to the valet. The valet was the best staff at the hotel besides the bartenders.

There are so many good things to say about this hotel. But hereโ€™s just a few of the amazing things they did for us! -rooms were incredibly spacious -pool area was lovely, hot tub needed at the end of every day -staff were gracious and knowledgeable about the area -same staff worked every day and treated us like we were family -my room got upgraded and the new room was was even better than I imagined! -every room have a kitchenette and it came in so handy. They even had all dishes and flatware you could need for your stay. -3:30 cocktails? YES PLEASE! Thereโ€™s a lot more to say, but Iโ€™ll simply just say, THANK YOU! We appreciate you guys so much during our stay in Vegas!

I love that this hotel was just far enough from the strip (shuttle to take you there if you wanted) that it was it's own little paradise. I also appreciated no casino in the hotel! I could actually relax. The outdoor pool is heated which was fantastic. The suite had everything we needed including in-suite laundry and bathrooms for each room. The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times. Close enough to everything and just far enough away to have an escape. Excellent recreational areas as well as scheduled social events! ๐Ÿ‘

Amazing property! The suite was great with amenities galore. The only thing not very good was the location. This wouldn't be a problem except that the shuttle only stops and picks up at one spot on the strip. I would definitely recommend they consider 3 or 4 drop offs at different spots along the strip so you can visit more places like Fremont Street or other iconic landmarks without walking for miles or taking city busses etc.

First time ever staying at this hotel. I have to say this hotel has the nicest and most service-oriented staff I have ever encountered at any hotel ever before, from the desk staff to the valets to the lifeguards. The free Valet service was very quick and professional. The staff consistently went above and beyond, offering to help with our bags, explaining all the amenities, getting us towels and anything else needed for our rooms. I was also shocked at the amount of items and appliances provided in a standard Studio room. There were 8 plates, 4 bowls, metal silverware, a blender, microwave, mini fridge, dishwasher, and more. There was even a full kitchen knife set and tools such as can and bottle openers provided in the room. For this reason, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying here longer than a day or two trying to keep costs reasonable by making some meals at the hotel room instead of ordering/going out. You could take your rental car down to the local Walmart/Target and buy microwavable meals, soups in a can, ingredients for blended drinks, bottles of wine, unprocessed fruits and vegetables, and easily prepare meals for yourself for a fraction of the price you'd incur ordering delivery or going out. There is no breakfast served, which seems to be the norm in Vegas, but there is a schedule of "events" going on throughout the morning/early afternoon. At the time of our visit, one of these events was a period of free mimosas and muffins offered at 12:30 every weekend day. I highly recommend this hotel, and suggest you book directly through Wyndham with your rewards account so you can rack up points and get discounts and points bonuses on your stay.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional! Staff, rooms, overall cleanlinessโ€ฆ pool, hot tub and sauna were great! We had a suite with a separate living room and a kitchen for 2 nights. It was fully stocked with dishes, microwave and dishwasher, in case you wanted to do breakfast or prepare snacks. The value for money cannot be beat! and we will stay there next time we go back to Vegas and will recommend it to all our friends and family. This was an excellent dealโ€™ Recommend this fabulous hotel vs a stay on the strip wth crowded, loud, smoky casinos you must walk through to get to your room.

This place did not disappoint. It was far enough off the strip but had a shuttle to Treasure Island if you wanted to check the strip out. Rooms were great and the pools were as well. I would stay again for sure!

Stayed here for a short vacation on my parentsโ€™ points. The person who welcomed us at the memberโ€™s desk (Eddie? Maybe?) was super nice and friendly. Rest of the staff were also very welcoming & warm. The double pools is super nice, but itโ€™s still hard to avoid splashing kids when youโ€™re just trying to vibe. Overall, accommodations are pretty standard for a Wyndham Resort. Wish there were more frequent shuttle trips to Treasure Island, or even an airport shuttle option for those of us who donโ€™t plan to rent a car during their stay. Itโ€™s off the strip, within walking distance to China Town & Area15, with splendid views of the surrounding area.

No breakfast but the room had a kitchen. The one thing I love doing on vacation is making my own breakfast /s. Excellent room design, AC blowing into ceiling fan is a smart design to circulate air, great view of the Strip, and the pool area is beautiful. The room could use more USB slots to charge modern electronics. Edit: Y'all can do better than single ply toilet paper. I found $3.50 in the left coin return of the pac man machine, so thanks for the free quarters. Nothing seems to be electrically grounded. Every time I used the card on the door I got a shock. That cider ginger ale fireball vodka free mixed drinks in the lobby was a nice touch. You can have 5 stars after this edit.

We had a two bedroom margarita suite. Furnishings were nice and kitchen, washer, dryer all worked well. Room was a bit dusty but overall clean. Lots of great places to eat around here. Found a great activity for kids every day of the week we were there, all within 15-20 min drive. Pools are amazing (one of the pools under construction at the moment) and nicely heated to swim comfortably in 50 degree weather. Staff are all friendly, from security to front desk to activity staff. Can't say much about housekeeping since we didn't get housekeeping services during our stay. We stayed during Christmas week and there were daily activities such as crafts, bingo, socials, etc.

I always look forward to my stay here! The staff is very nice and attentive. The rooms are very clean and neat. The floor to ceiling windows in the rooms are my favorite! The pool is also very fun with lots of seating for everyone! Location is PERFECT! It is removed enough that things stay quiet and feel very safe, but still just a short drive (or shuttle) from the strip! Definitely Recommend

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, I love the resort style rooms. They have all of the essentials in the rooms and our room came with a kitchen, two full rooms with two full bathrooms, and a washer and dryer along with a full size dining room and living room. It was like I was in an apartment, it was so cool. It also is close to other large and well-known resorts and hotels so the views from the windows are very nice. I would definitely come here again

The good is the beds were very comfortable in all three bedrooms, the place was quiet, and the poolside bartenders were very nice. The bad was the furniture was stained and scratched up, the whole suite needs renovating, and it could have been cleaner. The ugly was our morning shuttle driver (grumpy and sometimes falling asleep while waiting for other passengers to get on) and the salesman we had to get our room wristbands from (super pushy and not taking no for an answer). As an owner I expected more from the resort. I especially expected a better room but since it was just for a long weekend, we just went with it.

Wonderful location and friendly service. From the shuttle driver to the front desk, everyone has a pleasant attitude and personable spirit. The rooms are spacious and have great amenities. The view from our 2 bedroom can scan the mountains or hotels directly on the Strip. Lovely property.

Excellent location super close to the strip yet quiet. Perfect for a family on vacation. Very secure need your bracelet to go anywhere. Planned activities throughout the week. Store in the hotel in case you forgot anything. A nice grill by the pool. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Eric checked us in he was very pleasant and helpful. We had a one bedroom deluxe, the room was spectacular with an excellent view of the strip and the mountains. We decided not to pay the housekeeping fee for our stay. There were vending machines and a trash chute on our floor. The pool area was great and the food at the pool bar was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great experience at Club Wyndham Desert Blue. The 2BR suite is very spacious and has all the amenities one could want. There is an hourly shuttle that takes you to Treasure Island or its a short walk to the strip. Staff are excellent and always helpful. Definitely a great place to stay.

Overall experience was really great. I feel the side tour of wanting you to buy was not necessary, but that was on us. But the location was pretty Center in town. Close enough to town, but not walking distance. The shuttle service needs work. Lot of waiting around time. The Valet service was probably the best thing. Everyone we encountered was so professional, fast, and very helpful. If we ever returned to the Desert Blue, it would definitely not be during the Formula 1 race. Getting around Las Vegas was very difficult and time-consuming. But, we have to say staying at the Desert Blue was one of the most beautiful experiences we had in our travels. Thank you, Wyndham!

Great place to stay! Just enough off the Strip to enjoy the quiet and feel safe, but close enough to get around quickly. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Pool area was very nice! A few details like a broken toaster, broken picture in the dining room, and the sparsely furnished kitchen could be improved. But overall, we really enjoyed it and will be back.

Great spot away from noise the strip but close enough to get to it with either the provided complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to treasure island every hour or other means. Beautiful heated pool too that runs year round. So all and all, it's a decent hotel, but most importantly.....do you wanna by a time share?

  • 5/5 Meka D. 1 year ago on Google
I must admit I was a little worried of not staying on the strip, but this amazing resorts customer service was more than outstanding. From our moment of arrival we have been treated as more than just a guest. I appreciate the happy faces, the help, suggested places near for food and the shuttle OMG was a life savor. I will DEFINITELY be returning and sharing how amazing this stay was. Thank you so much!

Work trip to Vegas and I wanted something off the strip. Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, great views if you're on a higher level, and plenty of free on site parking (with complimentary valet which is cool.) The timeshare sale... When I checked into the hotel I was given one key card and told to go to member services to get a wristband key. I thought nothing of it and went over only to hear a less than stellar sales pitch of a timeshare. The guy wasn't overly pushy thankfully, but it wasn't a pleasant start to the hotel experience needless to say. Good location overall (especially if you don't want to stay on the strip but still be close.) They also run a shuttle to the strip regularly throughout the day. All in all, great hotel that I will definitely stay at again when I'm in Vegas. Think I'll skip out on the timeshare though. ๐Ÿ˜

We were stopping over in Las Vegas for a few days as part of a road trip. This was one of the first few stops so we were able to plan ahead for it. We found this place; the price was right and it was close to (but not on) the Vegas Strip. Plenty of parking though not convenient when the lot fills up. My room was large and modern, and was probably one of the best out of the 20 or so hotels I stayed in on my trip. Decent views of the city from a high floor, as well. We took the shuttle to the strip once, and it was fine. We ended up getting an Uber back to the hotel, though, because the location of shuttle pickup/dropoff wasn't convenient for us. Didn't use the pool or any other "common area" amenities so I can't comment on those. My only real complaint is that they funneled us through an unnecessary step at check-in to promote the timeshare. The people at the timeshare desk were unfriendly and unwelcoming to begin with and then got almost unpleasant when we walled off their "offers". I was able to avoid them after that, though.

  • 3/5 Boyd L. 8 months ago on Google
I went to the shuttle pickup location. Waited. Never came. Find out the pickup was on other side of building. This was not mentioned when I called for pickup. After day of sight seeing I wanted food. The person at desk said they have a grill at pool. So I went to the person working the grill said it was closed. During the posted open hours. Not impressed.

The place is great but it is off the strip. They do offer a ride to the strip so it does make it convenient for those who don't want to be right on the strip. The rooms are great and very roomy. The kitchen makes it nice if you are wanting to cook and cut back on the expense of your trip. They also have washer and dryer in them.

We want to thank all the staff members for making my family vacation with my adult sons enjoyable. Celebrating their birthday and they first time to vegas. Thanks for Shuttle service to Smith grocery store and Treasure Island Casino. Our rooms smell fresh and were clean. Bed very comfortable and roomy. My favorite washer and dryer in the room.

My sister had a room here for her birthday. We had a large group of people with us and there were no complaints. Easily accessible, didnโ€™t spend too much time at the Hotel but room was very nice.

  • 5/5 Erica P. 7 months ago on Google
Our room was huge, and beautiful. I loved the pool area. Plenty of shade two pools so you could have plenty of room and not feel crowded. They have a Starbucks in a little bar area by the pole so that was great! They have lots of little activities throughout the day at the hotel. I love staying here and I would definitely recommend. The view from our room was the only downside. But I really didnโ€™t care. Itโ€™s just not very pretty looking at some of the worn down buildings on the backside of the hotel. The hotel building itself was lovely inside and out.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank the entire staff for making our first trip to Las Vegas one to remember! Me, my wife and 2 kids visited Las Vegas for the very first time and couldnโ€™t have been happier with our stay! We didnโ€™t want something directly on the strip due it being more loud and probably a little more โ€œrowdyโ€ in the hotel rooms and the Desert Blue did not disappoint!! From the initial welcome via text messages and some easy back and forth communication that we did this way for some questions I had went so smoothly and efficiently. Then our initial flight into Vegas was cancelled (thank you Spirit) and we arrived 13 hours after our initial expected arrival time. We advised the hotel and they were so sympathetic and just great to deal with, always friendly and courteous. They knew we were already discouraged before even arriving in Vegas (as we lost one full day out of our 4 day trip) and they went out of their way to put a smile on our face upon arrival (even if it was around 1:30am when we checked in)! I wonโ€™t go into detail but from my family to the Desert Blue family, thank you!! And room 1326 was simply gorgeous as well! That view! During our entire stay (4 days), everyone had a smile; was friendly and courteous, and we always felt very welcome! My kids loved the pool and the pool room! On 2 occasions we walked from the hotel to the strip which took maybe 15 minutes max which isnโ€™t bad at all; and the other days we took the shuttle! The gentleman that worked the Valet were always awesome to speak with and chill out for a while with, they also gave great suggestions on things to do with this kids which we tried out at loved! Overall, excellent hotel, strongly recommend; and really great for families with kids; canโ€™t recommend it enough! Will absolutely come back when we are able to visit Vegas again! Thanks for the memories!

Fantastic hotel. We stayed using Wyndham points for a couple nights. The actual hotel hostess was super fantastic. Friendly and fast.v nice check in. Then they hand you over to the Wyndham crew, ugh. Always trying to up sell. We are already owners, let me in my damn room. Other than that. Real nice joint.

The resort was amazing in all aspects. It was close to the strip, had a beautiful interior and exterior, and great views from all rooms. We would have preferred a south facing room but were not disappointed. The suite had everything we needed, plenty of space, and the jet tub was luxurious! One of our favorite aspects was the convenience store downstairs for those late night snacks. And the shuttle was so convenient! We will definitely be visiting Wyndham Desert Blue again the next time we travel to Vegas.

  • 4/5 Chris B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place, close enough to the strip to get there in a few minutes with an Uber for 10-15 bucks and much much cheaper than an equivalent suite right on the strip. Only bummer is they give you a sales pitch to attend some presentation for an hour and a half. Not what Iโ€™m into when on vacation. But thatโ€™s just me perhaps.

Was in Vegas to see the Ravens play the Raiders, (by the way Las Vegas Raiders fans are awesome). A group of 8 family members stayed here and we loved it, especially hanging out at the pool. Planning a longer stay next spring.

I had a great time staying here. Itโ€™s a nice change of pace from staying on the strip. It is nice and relaxing and not far if you want to go to the strip. While I was there I left my AirPod Pros and thought they were going for good since I live in Colorado. After a week of thinking about it I called and asked if they found them. Less than 30 minutes after they took my info I got a text saying that they found them and a link to a site to have them mailed back to me. Great customer service.

I took my family to Club WYNDHAM Desert Resort in Las Vegas and it was beautiful. My family and I loved everything about it. I would recommend for everyone to check this resort out when you are staying in Vegas. I had a one-bedroom deluxe with a beautiful view. The service was great and in all aspects room service pool service, rooml service and front desk service. Everything was great and they had a workout gym and a game room. The best stay that I have had in Vegas in the past 3 years. We for every year for our sons football tournament. Hands down Club WYNDHAM Desert Resort was #1.

Generally clean. Staff are very responsive and the beds are not super soft. I appreciate that I can actually climb out of bed here unlike many places I've stayed. Pools are awesome and there are lifeguards too. My daughter loved the splash area. I wish the pools were open a little later and the sales staff were a little less... "pushy". Otherwise, great location.

Newly built hotel (about 4 years old). Modern and clean rooms. Our room had a full kitchen, one bedroom, one bathroom with shower and separate bath tub. Convenient shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at Cesar's Palace on the hour. We didn't get room service even though we did not post the "Do not disturb" sign outside.. by the time we returned to the room, it was too late to request room service. Overall, it is a beautiful hotel for your stay.

I'm an owner for 15 years. New Year's Night was terrible. It sounded like a woman was getting beat in the next room. We couldn't sleep. Called the front desk twice. The second time, Security did show and we confronted the renter. However, it continued. Worst experience ever. Management did call after two days and said they were going to look into who was staying there and take action to ensure it doesn't happen again. This experience cheapened a great new WYNDHAM timeshare to be MOTEL-LIKE.

Wyndham Desert Blue was a nice place to stay. My friend and I were there for 3 nights in a studio room. I loved the room especially the bed! it was very comfortable. Bathroom and the wall art around the room are a nice touch. The pool was very beautiful and relaxing. I loved the bar, the drinks, and the music being played in the background. The hotel is no more than 8 minutes from the strips. We were told there's a shuttle service that brings guest up to the Rio hotel, we never used it but it's an available option.

My favorite pool experience in Las Vegas! 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis and a splash zone! The day rental cabana is equipped with a refrigerator, TV, couch and chair inside with 2 lounge chairs outside. They lifeguards had Otter Pops for the kids, free popcorn with all the seasonings, free snow cones and then walked around giving out watermelon in the 108 heat! The bar has everything you could possibly ask for and the menu for food was impressive. The pizza is far better than I expected and the bacon topping the nachos is delicious! The best experience for Labor Day!

Relaxing and away from the chaos of Las Vegas strip. The staff really nice and helpful. Hotel room clean. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that the pool area closed at 9pm. I wish it was open a little later.

Stayed here for a friend's birthday recently. First the good, the check in process was smooth. Super nice staff up front. The pool is nice and the drinks aren't overly expensive. The hotel seems in decent shape even though our room was in need of some repairs with the TV mount and they don't give you enough soap, shampoo etc. The rooms are appointed nicely but if you don't have a stove you are going to be SOL since the resort is far from anything. Rent a car. Thats my biggest piece of advice. I am not a gambler but there is no casino at this hotel. The downside is it's a good $10 Uber to the strip. They do have a shuttle that runs to Treasure Island every hour and goes to the grocery store but again, if I was every this far from the strip I would rent a car. No bars other than by the pool, no breakfast restaurant. You are too far from anything to just wake up and get coffee someplace. It's basically designed for you to go grocery shopping and cook all vacation. Rent a car. The timeshare sell. It's nothing intense or at least not as intense as I have seen other places. That being said the gift they give you for attending has a lot of conditions of use they don't tell you about until you show up to check in for the registration. 90 minutes and we were out of there even though they do the 3 tactic approach. First the guy showing you something that costs $40k that you can finance at 18% then the we have this cheaper then the next supervisor who asks what they can do to sign you up and the last person you comes by with another deal. That is by far the best deal but listen to the double speak. It was 300k points but only usable at select locations during off peak. It doesn't say that on the paper but he says it verbally. Rent a Car.

For a non-casino accommodation near the Las Vegas strip, this was a great location for getting around the area! The rooms are large and have great amenities; however, the room that we had did appear to need some TLC for some items as they were a little worn but functional. The views from our room were great, and my teenager LOVED sitting in the window in their room to take in the night lights. If you're not wanting to be in a casino I definitely recommend this location as it is well placed to visit, or quickly get out of the city to surrounding sites. My reason for the 4-Star review (instead of a 5) is that after our initial check-in we had to get hounded by the 'concierge' desk on doing a 90 minute presentation. This was infuriating as after declining (as we already have a time share that we're stuck in) they repeatedly kept trying to weasel us into one. After traveling all day to get to Vegas this is not how we wanted to start our trip... FINALLY after declining multiple times and not having our voices heard on the reason why we were not interested we were given our bracelets for the room/resort. If I go back, I'll just skip the desk and they can keep the convenience of the bracelet keys and I'll just use the regular door keycards.

I stayed in their best room. The 3 bedroom presidential suite. The fridge ice maker didn't work. The dishes were dirty. Based speaker my be outdated. Couldn't connect to it. The timeshare update seemed mandatory, and when I said no to any changes. The Jamaican finance lady lost her cool. Took a couple of personal digs at me. Every else seemed fine. I would give it 3.9 so I'll round up

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ While on vacation I needed my eyelashes done. Luckily, i came across Bella Mi Salon & Nail Spa. The front desk was very accommodating, when I walked in they offered me a glass of wine! We all talked until it was my turn to be serviced. I got an opportunity to sit in on a make-up application. C...
