Stayed here for a couple of nights. Beautiful building, high ceiling room with a massive balcony looking at the sea. Continental breakfast provided in the morning. Hosts made me feel at home, highly recommended!

I want to preface this by saying that the owners are wonderful and the location is great. The impression upon entering the hotel was that it was once very grand. Sadly, it has fallen into disrepair and needs renovation. The floors are old, stained and dirty, the walls are covered in marks and the bathroom was in desperate need of repair. The room itself looked as if it hasn't been updated since the hotel's opening. The ceilings are broken in places and the hallways are long and dark. The breakfast room was very pretty and had a great view to the sea, but this didn't make up for the condition of the rest of the accommodation. The hotel could truly be amazing if it had a proper overhaul and renovation, but in its current state I cannot recommend it, especially for 70€ a day. We left after one night as I felt uncomfortable and the room was not clean enough.

Mr Theodore, was the most delightful and helpful host. Me and my partner had a brilliant time, and truly felt like family, and not just guests of a hotel. He overdelivered and our room with the terrace had a stunning view and was close to the main strip. He also talked us through car routes we could tour round to see the city every day. We will most definitely visit again. Thank you thank you thank you!!

We have spend 3 amazing days in Chios and Hotel Kyma was like a home to us. First of all the couple managing the hotel (Theodore & Guher) were so helpful and friendly. They know Turkish/English/Greek so that they can guide you very well if you ask questions about the island. Theodore created a route on the map for us including famous villages and beaches. This helped us a lot. Hotel has an old Greek architecture which is so authentic. We stayed in a room on the top floor with wonderful sea view. If the weather is not windy, you can bring your drinks to balcony and enjoy the view. Room was clean and we had everything we needed like hair dryer, extra blanket, electronic mosquito repellent etc. I especially liked the shampoo and conditioner with olive oil extract. There is a buffet Breakfast and it is nice to have your breakfast on the tables outside with the sea view. Moreover location of the hotel is very central. It is possible to reach the port by 10 min. walking. Overall, we were very happy about our hotel choice not just because of the hotel's features, also because of the friendly owners who made us feel like we are at our home in Chios...

We stayed at Hotel Kyma for 2 nights. This is a historical stone building (100 years old!) which reflects old Greek architecture. Hight ceelings and marble stairs gives a nice atmosphere. We left Chios island with great memories thanks to lovely hospitality of Theodore and Güher. Theodore and Güher are the owners of Hotel Kyma, they are very friendly and helpful. They gave useful information about the island, helped us with the plan. Their rooms have great sea view, we felt like we are in a ship at our balcony. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Dont miss their breakfast in the mornings, you can try delicious Greek yogurt, jams, cheese. Coffee, tea unlimited. Chios is the best Greek island I've visited so far, you should definitely visit here and Hotel Kyma is one of the best options considering its price, comfort and view.

Cant think of a bad thing nor an inconvenience to say about the place. Great view, great people, great hotel all around. Go there.

We have stayed this hotel in second time. Location is perfect if you want to be closer to Chios town. Great sea view in front of rooms with wide terrace. Mr. Theodore was very helpful and kind to our requests. Bathroom needs to be renovated.

That was from more than 6 years but still in my head until I dei .... I will be there when I travel to this amazing island 🏝

Beautiful hotel with the best hosts :) an old mansion turned into hotel, the history of the building makes itself evident. We always felt at home and cared for in this hotel.
