First visit will be my last… Ridiculously expensive ‘eat in’ option that took a baguette worth just under £4 to £6.50. Baguette, crisps (they don’t do chips) and a coke came to £9! The BLT I ordered was very bland and had a distinct ‘re-heated in the microwave’ taste. Disappointed and will NOT be back.

Lovely sandwich lunch, kindly made despite arriving ten minutes after that should have stopped serving. Friendly welcome and great coffee too!

Had a lovely time at my friends baby shower at the Larkrise cafe on Sunday. From start to finish, I couldn’t fault it! I had a really quick reply when I first enquired about hosting it here and there was really good communication throughout. The afternoon tea was spot on, everything home made and absolutely delicious! We were also never short of pots of tea on the table. The staff were really friendly and attentive and overall there was just a really nice atmosphere ☺️ would definitely recommend!

A bit overpriced for an average snack meal...sandwich was fresh but overpriced £5 for a tuna and tomato. Jacket potato £7.95 ...both items had salad garnish but why rice pasta and salads on the plate. Drinks ok.

I rang to enquire about a gift voucher For an afternoon tea . The staff were very helpful and efficient. The viucher was ready to collect the next day and larks rise rang to tell me . Hope my friend enjoys her tea 🍵

I came to eat here on my lunch break for which I get an hour. I thought it'd be nice as I live nearby and gets me out the house as I work from home. I wanted to order something that In my mind would be relatively quick so got the New Yorker sandwich. Taste wise it was absolutely lovely, really cannot fault the food. But I was left really disappointed that it took an hour for my new Yorker sandwich and my partners chicken wrap to come out!!!! I can appreciate that they're looking for staff, however I counted 5+ people in the kitchen area and only three tables seated. For a relatively small menu and not particularly rushed off their feet, I ended up having to leave at the 50 minute mark of waiting. My partner had to get the food to go as it took almost an hour to come out. Now I would say that this is a one off, but this was my second time dining there, the first time I was in a very similar situation waiting 40 minutes for a coffee and a sandwich. It's a real shame as both occasions the food was lovely and the atmosphere of the place itself is lovely, the timing of the service just let it down for me. The owner did recommend pre ordering in future, which I appreciate but don't necessarily expect for a sandwich.

We are a Group of Diabetics, so rang to ask if they minded having eight for coffee and cake. Light, airy cafe, sofa seating for comfort, a mixture of wooden tables and chairs made the whole cafe unique. Cakes and Brownies delicious. Food coming out of the kitchen looked really appetising, and there is a salad bar as well. Orders were taken at the table. Such a lovely treat to be able to find a Cafe that treated you as a welcome guest rather than a customer, and no pressure to vacate. We stayed approx two hrs, our usual time! Thoroughly recommend this lovely Cafe. We will be back!

I've pretty much worked my way through the menu at this place in recent months and this place is pretty consistent with the simple yet delicious food, prompt and accommodating service and fantastic cakes! Coffee not bad either but then again I'm spoilt by the good stuff closer to home.

Amazing place, beautiful food, atmosphere and service. It was perfect for my two little boys and nothing was too much from the staff. Food was delicious! I loved the little car food tray for the kids! Thank you for a perfect lunch. Definitely recommend and will be returning!
