Kumar Cafe

Kumar Cafe is one of the oldest and well-known restaurants in the Killipalam area. It’s located right at the junction, making it easy to spot, but parking space is quite limited, especially during peak hours. They have two sections: the Kumar Cafe on the ground floor and a more spacious dining area called “Dine at Kumar’s” on the first floor. I visited during lunchtime. While most people were having meals, fish fry, and biryani, I ordered porotta and beef fry. The porotta served was the small, coin-type variety. Both dishes were impressive in terms of taste, quality, and quantity. Despite the rush, the service was quick and efficient. Staff were constantly on their toes — taking orders and clearing tables immediately after each customer finished. Expect a bit of waiting time if you’re visiting during peak hours, but the system runs fairly smoothly. Overall, it’s a good place for a quick, tasty, and budget-friendly meal. A reliable option with reasonable pricing.

It's my honest review. For the first time I tried this very old and famous hotel in Trivandrum. Heavy waiting, just for one mutton biriyani parcel I waited for almost 45mins in the sun. It's true that food is tasty. But it's not healthy at all. I don't have any voice to say this because I too mostly have food from outside. But the biriyani that I got from here is very very high in vanspati or dalda. After food that sticky oil from the plate is not going even after 3 or 4 washes. Even with soap. If we regularly take this food, i can guarantee that we won't live long. In Cochin, there is a very famous hotel name galaxy at vazhakalla. I had such a worse quality and High tasty food from Hotel galaxy as well. If you guys think my review is fake try this at your home. But biriyani and have it in a steel plate and after food you guys will feel what I am trying to communicate. That's all.
