I’ve been here a couple of times and it just seems like the places is becoming worse and worse every time I understand because of COVID everything is at a certain capacity and they no longer have reservations available as they use too but despite the 45 minute wait and everything else that I don’t mind is just the food quality is was so bad that it’s pretty much why I’m writing this review, Ive ordered biscuits and Gravy from here before and is was really good so I’ve always had this good image from Cheesecake Factory biscuit and gravy, sadly this last time this is what I got… it was so horrible I had to take a picture , please tell me if this doesn’t look like a frozen meal from any grocery store instead of a 20$ meal.

Unfortunately my last experience wasn't that great. It was a party of 8 and we went to have dinner to celebrate a special occasion. Drinks were great and the staff was amazing. Unfortunately my food was not. My steak was more than well done, and I had ordered medium rare. The manager was really nice and offered to get me a new plate out as soon as possible. However it turned out to be about 25 minutes. Everyone on my table had finished eating, except me. The server came out and apologized and offered to put my food to go. Needless to say my meal was not compensated but instead they credited two pies I had ordered to go. I plan on coming back just because of how nice the staff was. I will change my review on my next visit.

First visit to the Cheesecake Factory in Otay Ranch and there was, what looked to be parchment paper in the pasta. The other dishes brought out were fantastic.

Absolutely delicious food. And the mai tais were to die for. Our server was excellent. The drinks took a while but were worth the wait. Food didn't take long and was cooked to perfection. Will definitely go back when I am in San Diego again. Oh and let's not forget the cheesecake....so many options to choose from. I love the cinabon one the best. We were so stuffed after our in meal we go it to go lol.

The wait time was supposed to be 30 minutes but we were seated earlier. Our server Michael was nice, attentive and on top of everything. The drinks took a while to get there due to the bar being backed up but they were super good and worth the wait. Food on the other hand came out just on time. Great experience over all.

Great food fast service. Had an issue with an under cooked steak but it was quickly mitigated.

My boyfriend ordered to go for us. My mac & cheese was extremely burnt. You could literally smell how burnt it was as soon as I opened the package. Very disappointing, especially with how expensive The Cheesecake Factory is. If we had been at the restaurant, there’s no way this would have been brought to the table. They phone line keep hanging up on us.

What’s going on here is not good for the brand. The service is extremely slow and without warning. Other places nearby will tell guests the wait is long and not seat you until they can handle the orders. But not this place, we were sat with no warning of slow service. Almost an hour wait for the wrong order and I was not waiting another hour to risk getting the order wrong again. For the prices you charge, one would think the service would be faster, or you wouldn’t make so many mistakes. I only mentioned one mistake but there were many, the wrong order after an hour was just the important one. You got my kid’s order correct, I’ll give you that. But by the time it came out, it was her bed time so we had to leave. So now you have lost a guest, are responsible for someone going to bed without dinner because it’s too late to get something else and are getting this negative review. Please take note of what happened to macaroni grill in the same center. They had this exact issue and are no longer around to talk about it. Please do better, we don’t want more stores closing.

The menu has a lot of variety, Food is not great and it doesn't have a fresh taste. Service is ok when they are around. But Desserts are so great. I recommend this place only for desserts.

The service was good, the food allright nothing outstanding. The cheesecakes that we order to go, they were way more cake than cheesecake. They should be advertised like CAKE $10 dollar for a piece of cake that was OK was way to much.

If you wanna have a late night run for some amazing coffee and cheesecake, ya gotta make a stop right here. They have excellent food. Their appetizers are wonderful too. My sister and I did a spontaneous snack run . YUMMY!!! 😋 Their coffee is to die for. So quality, smooth and loaded with rich flavor.☕️ I ordered the stuffed mushrooms (Fontina and Parmesan cheese, Garlic & Herbs in wine sauce). OH YEAH! (Yep, that's what I'm talkin' about). My sister ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, abundant sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. (Of course mine tasted better! 🤣😂) Anyways, I ordered the Fresh Banana Cream Cheesecake. Yes this comes with fresh sliced bananas and topped with Bavarian cream. Eating this slowly and intentionally is a dream. Then sipping the fresh brewed rich and smooth coffee sends you to 7th heaven. My sister got the Mango Key Lime Cheesecake. Sweet and the crunchy crust even sweeter! What a delight it tasted! (Guess what? Yep. Mine was better! Giggles😆🤣) Can I tell you that the server Diego made the evening delightful? He was attentive, kind, and such a gracious host (Table top at bar area). And he did it with a sweet smile.😁Ya gotta have him serve you! If I could rate 10 stars I would! 💯💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💯 Did I tell you how good the coffee is there? Yeah, well letting you know again. It's worth it. Thanks sister for a Divine Treat! (Of course she took care of the tab!) We went back 6/11 (missed Diego like tons) But the cheesecake was amazing!

Um, how difficult is it to make a hamburger?? Evidently this is extremely challenging for the Cheesecake Factory. It was so burnt it looked like a piece of blacktop and tasted like what I would imagine gravel to taste like. Then they brought another, after I said no thank you and that was RAW!!! AND that is not all, the tomato slice was the thickest I had ever seen. It was the butt of the tomato 🍅. Who would think it was ok to serve this? So, I left hungry. The bread and side salad were delicious. Maybe I should have started with that.

Fantastic service, and waiter was really polite/friendly. This location has a nice vibe to it, and is in a great location. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Pasta, and I loved it.

The Cheesecake Factory never disappoints, well only when you have to wait a ton but that means that a lot of people agree that it is a great place. Great food and offerings. The menu is too much but there is always something to discover; make sure to ask your server before ordering something new, they always know best. Prices did go up a bit but the value is worth it. Definitely ask for wheat bread only, it is addictive.

Celebrated my birthday and had a great time that was meaningful and mellow. And, I was even surprised by the staff with a celebratory birthday song and dessert! The staff really outdid themselves with the great service they gifted us with! Our server was Keanu and he did an amazing job with being personable and professional! He took and delivered our meal requests with enthusiasm, a genuine smile, and the kindest aura! Great guy! He's a DEFINITE benefit to the team! We'll absolutely come back in the near future based on this experience!!

I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed my experience. They have a decent variety of food on their menu, so you are sure to find something that you like. The food is always good, and fairly priced. Furthermore, they give pretty good sized portions. They also have a variety of cheesecakes you can choose from. The staff is always pretty friendly and the service is fast. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to eat in the area.

The appetizers here are the best. The food and service are great. And you definitely must try the cheesecake!

Cheesecake factories are awesome. This was no exception. We had the bbq chicken salad and the chili crunch shrimp pasta. Of course had to add a red velvet cheesecake slice to go. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. Our only gripe was its soo dark to be able to properly read the menus. My boyfriend had to pull our the phone light just to see what we were looking for. Our decision was great after reading rhe options. Portions are large and we took quite a bit home to snack on later. We certainly will be back to this location.

I went in really quickly for some key lime pie. They only have a few available in 10 in sizes, heads up. I didn’t want to get a full sized one so got a slice instead. I also got the Tuxedo one which was amazing! Less than 5 minutes I was out there door. 👍🏽

The overall experience was fair. The salad that was brought to us was unacceptable. It was wilted and very unappealing. Then he offered me some other patrons' salad because they didn't want it. I really had to parse my words. I also didn't like the fact that the server argued with me when he was in the wrong. He didn't pay attention when we acknowledged him asking if we wanted our glasses of water refilled. I still tipped him over what the maximum was on the receipt. Paying attention to the customer should be key if you expect a decent tip. I know the job is hard, but don't expect or assume you will receive a tip when your service isn't good.

This visit last night was amazing! My husband and kids brought me to eat here for my birthday. I ordered the salmon with red skin mashed potatoes and my kids & husband ordered quite a few items. The only thing we disliked were the fries. Dry and warm. Didn't taste fresh for sure. We were missing quite some things a few times but what wowed me was that at one point my son wanted a burger and had been waiting for our server to appear, which we understand that she was busy multi tasking, then suddenly a male approached us asking how can he help us. We were weirded out but he explained that he noticed we had been needing help for a while and that he was the manager(it seemed he was dining near us and his friend pointed out we needed help) he actually took time off his dining to help serve us which is something rare to see. He took our order, he even noticed we needed refills & did that as well. We LOVED it! He definitely went above and beyond even though he was probably off the clock. It made any little inconvenient moment PERFECT!! we will definitely be back in our next special occasion ❤️❤️

First experience(last year) the steak was burnt and I complained. I was given a e-gift card that I never used. The latest complaint was on 03/01/23 the meat was raw on both chicken Madeira that I ordered. Both orders went to trash. I was asked if I would like to have the orders replaced and I declined as the food might not come out right again. I will never recommend this Otay ranch location to friends and family.

Good flavors but small portions . But cheesecakes are delicious.. I loved the lemón rasberry cheesecake...!!! The check was about $260 we got 4 plates 1 kid plate and 3 chesee cakes. They charge 18% tip.

Consistency is the name of the game at Cheesecake Factory....whether pasta, desert or new items. Always the best ingredients, flavor and service every time. It's been my daughter and I's go to place for daddy daughter date night her whole life 😊

My family and I went to this place to eat spaghetti, macaroni and cheese fried balls and chicken salad sandwich. They were so good. We also ordered passion fruit mojito. We had our cheesecake and cake to go as we were already full. We left happy.

Ordered the spinach dip, it was cold and had absolutely no flavor. I also got the fettuccine alfredo but no amount of salt and pepper could make that taste better. My boyfriend ordered “medium” steak and it was super overcooked, like WELL WELL done and the sides were cold. We thought it was hilarious, like the food had to be a prank…??!! Unfortunately, it wasn’t a joke. I wish we had just went to the McDonald’s drive thru. That would’ve been much more appetizing than this meal!!!! What a huge disappointment after a long day. At least the server was nice and we didn’t want to intimidate him but we really should have asked for a manager because that was soo so bad.

One reason I like this restaurant is that it is beside a large bookstore and we go and check out the books afterwards. My daughter loves this experience.

What a magnificent treat!! OMG. My mouth is still savoring the food! And the dessert! Wanted a spur of the moment, late night dessert. My guest and I talked about what was open as a lot of places close earlier. Didn't know there was a Cheese Factory just a few minutes (20 min) away. Soooo glad we decided to come here! At 10pm, we ordered appetizers. I had the quesadilla with chicken. I cannot say enough about the flavor. And the guacamole was a generous portion! I was in guacamole heaven. 😂 I can't have caffeinated drinks and ordered a decaf coffee. My goodness! How can I describe how good that decaf was! Usually when served at a restaurant, it lacks gusto...you know, like regular coffee should taste. But here! The taste was so real that I had to ask the server if it really was decaf and was assured that it was. Now, the dessert. That's really want my guest and I came for. Wow, wow, wow! Mango key lime pie was light, airy, not over the top sweet, and the combined flavor or mango and lime was the perfect blend. So so so delicious! Wonderful aromatic tasting coffee, savory appetizer, and a mouthwatering dessert. What a great spur of the moment night! Definitely will come again.

Best chicken piccata I have ever had. Godiva cheese cake is to die for! Litterly felt like I rolled out of there. Classy place with casual dining. Outside dining was beautiful.

Been there three times. And all three times the food has been on point and so delicious . And excellent service. I'd give it 10 Stars.

So disappointed. We got calamari and chocolate honey chicken. Calamari was tasteless and greasy. It was fried with the right crunchiness. Honey chicken had no Honey, swimming in oil, very bland. Also found hair in my food. Strawberry lemonade tasted way too sweet. The waitress forgot to give us menus and utensils and water. I had to ask after she came over to take the order even though we had no menus. The complimentary bread is brick hard on the outside. But fluffy and warm on the inside. This restaurant gets two stars because they attempted to correct for the nasty food by reducing the bill. However the food gets a large thumbs down for me.
