Great place to relax, grab a coffee, tea, desserts or a full meal, after a walk or day on the beach. The crème brûlée was truly amazing! One of the best I had hands down! Totally recommend going just for that!

Picked up some coffee and pastries to eat in the park on a peaceful, bright morning. There was a bit of a line and the baked goods are a little pricey but it was a great experience

I went in to grab some pastries to share for brunch. They were delicious, as they always are. Their croissants are wonderfully flaky with a soft interior, and their coffee is top notch.

First stop in Coronado was for lunch in here. Just cross street from the village and the ferry line. Service is very good and food great, not big menu of variety but the french baguette tuna sandwich was delicious. They have a bakery that looks delicious as well. Pet friendly!

Delightful French bistro. The menu is mostly French-inspired, ranging from smaller items (quiches and the namesake tartines) to larger dinner plates. The service was very hospitable and funny (we enjoyed talking with our server). We enjoyed the dry rub bone-in pork chop, sausage linguini, and baked king salmon-- all were well made and full of flavor. We want to try many other dishes; they look and sound delicious. They also have a wide selection of pastries and baked goods, some of which we had for dessert (you can come for morning breakfast/coffee, as well). This may become one of our regular "go-to" places here in the San Diego area.

3 + 1/2 stars. We made a mistake. The experts warn against ordering the specials, but we did. Beef Stroganoff. I think they had leftover flank steak to use. It was bland, bland, bland. Our friends ordered from the regular menu, the steak and house sandwich and were very pleased. Their thinly sliced French fries were very good. They have a house made dip to go with them. We did not order dessert, but they had quite a selection of pastries. The wine list was fairly large & not too pricey... for California.

Quite a nice cafe and pancake place. Service was decent and the cakes tasted rich. It was walking distance from the park that overlooks the San Diego skyline.

Really cute café with excellent food. We shared the wheel of brie, croque monsieur, and spinach quiche for breakfast. Every single thing was delicious. We also finished off with the white chocolate lemon pound cake, and we wanted to order even more sweets because it was also so good. Great little pit stop.

We were seated quickly but felt rushed when our orders were taken. The food took longer than expected as we saw other tables get their food first even though they arrived after us. My turkey panini was good but plain but the side salad was good. We weren’t given utensils until after our plates arrived and we had to ask for them. I would try a bakery or cafe in the downtown or Hillcrest area for a better experience.

This was a cozy and extremely friendly place for a lunch stop at Coronado. Delicious food was of course the icing on the cake. The best sandwich ever was the curried chicken sandwich- and it wasn’t even on the menu! I just commented that there’s no chicken panini or sandwich and the waitress suggested that they can do the curried chicken salad into a sandwich on a warm baguette, and since I prefer my meat hot , she even agreed to heat the meat up- and voilà- there was my best ever sandwich! The eggplant panini was super yum too! Other items were all good! The pastries were delicious but a $9 per- thought that was expensive.

Wonderful cafe on the bayside. Pictured apps: charcuterie plate, warm Brie wheel, cheese board - all were excellent, it would be nice if they were served with crackers though. Our entrees were also amazing: curry chicken salad (favorite), sausage fettuccine, swordfish, and chicken and dumplings special. The two pasta dishes were less great. Would highly recommend this place for any meal of the day! The desserts are also divine!

2023: @ lunchtime. Nice outdoor patio and indoor seating too, nothing fancy. The eggplant panini was pretty good, excellent cheeses here. But the caramel pot de crème desert was the best. That and OJ was $30. They serve wine too. This is on Coronado island near the ferry landing shops. They aim for a European vibe but I did not feel that. But all good.

I've been here for breakfast ad well as dessert. So far everything I've tasted has been very good, and service has been wonderful. Cannot come up with any complaints. Hoping to come back here to try dinner sometime!

Very nice cafe with very friendly service. Great bread and butter, Charcuterie plate and salad. It is across from the Central Park in a very nice area. It was very relaxing to be able to sit outside with our dog and enjoy the dinner.

This place is phenomenal. The soup of the day (clam chowder) was wonderful, as well as the curried chicken salad, both were bursting with flavor . The pastry selection is massive and are also tasty; quality French style desserts . Highly recommend this place

Great service, we were there for an afternoon tea/coffee. Got a Pavlava and a chicken curried salad, both were great! Good coffee as well. It was the first time we have had a Pavlava, very tasty and was a new experience for us. Would love to visit more in the future!

One of the best places for bread pudding and coffee. The food is great and you have to try their specials. The chefs specials are unique and very delicious. Very nice atmosphere and they allow dogs outside and seating inside and out is very good. On the corner of the orange Ave which is the best view to take pictures with San Diego downtown background Don't skip this place. Drinks are very good here. Coffee is great

Was ok .. not related to the one in San Francisco , outside. Was Flys all around , had to cut a piece of my sandwich to trush and a new straw as a fly just sit there on my cold brew ... ruin the whole thing .. the outside doesn't have anything to avoid Flys, and the floor is not sealed as inside, so it is hard to clean ... food was ok .. not as expected ... bread didn't taste fresh, and the cold brew nothing g special .. the lady cashier is very rude and has a bossy tone, and it looks like she has some issues ... the guys working in the tables were good . Perhaps she had a bad day, or she is like that entirely..
