Quality,
quality,
and
more
quality.
I
can't
stress
enough
that
across
the
border
you
have
quality
and
freshness
all
jam
packed
in
this
little
shop.
Today
was
my
first
time
in
since
I
didn't
want
to
eat
at
La
Taquiera
Veggie
again,
but
without
checking
any
reviews
I
walked
straight
in.
It
was
a
nice
late
Saturday
afternoon,
and
the
clerk
hooked
me
up
with
the
menu
and
I
was
blown
away
by
the
variety
of
food
besides
"bowls".
So
I
did
the
portabello
mushroom
hamburgesa,
and
the
Tacos
TJ.
Didn't
expect
much,
but
when
I
got
the
first
dish(the
portabello
mushroom
burger)
"I
went
to
town"
so
to
speak.
The
fulfilling
layers
of
fresh
tomatoes,
lettuce,
some
vegan
deli
slices,
topped
with
the
nicely
cooked
portabello
mushroom
packed
between
two
wheat
based
buns
was
as
visually
appealing
as
it
tasted.
I
got
the
tacos
para
llevar
(to-go)
and
when
I
got
back
to
a
local
car
wash
in
San
Diego
that
was
busy
I
ate
the
tacos
while
waiting
in
the
car
wash
line.
The
tacos
definitely
didn't
disappoint
me
nor
will
they
for
you.
Their
use
of
jackfruit
as
a
shredded
"meat"
was
nicely
marinated
before
cooking
and
the
flavors
were
enhanced
when
combined
with
the
full
package
of
a
fresh
traditional
tortilla
laced
with
fresh
guac,
their
in
house
sour
kabbage,
some
jicama
pieces,
cilantro
and
some
squeezed
lime
juice
in
the
mix.
If
you
made
it
this
far
in
the
review,
this
is
a
long
winded
way
of
saying
"go
here,
if
you
are
plant-based/"vegan
or
not"
stop
by
here!
