Started coming here a few months ago to get back in shape & better health the best way I knew how, get back into practicing MMA & Vale Tudo, and also learn some Jiu Jitsu as well. Hadn't worked out at a "gym" in a long time because of the typical stuff everyone else hates about them; they're crowded, weird/gross people, overbearing attitudes, etc.. everything that's thankfully missing here. This is not a gym. Period. It is a clean, friendly, inviting, Training Facility with legitimate professionals offering top quality class instruction from beginners to advanced levels of abilities alike, and in a variety of disciplines. Highly recommend.

Overall very friendly experience! Staff and members were great. Enjoyed the gym atmosphere. The gym can feel very crowded, with lots of equipment crammed into one half of the gym. BJJ program is incredible! Striking program was good for beginners.

This is not a gym to go to and get some line about membership and amenities, ultimately getting upselled into a premium package that has no true meaning but that of collecting dues, without investment into the customer. This is a community of practitioners who radiant pride in their craft, and an eagerness to share and develop the art in which they teach. Expect to make new friends. Expect to see measured and constant growth either in skill or as a person. Expect to be humbled and tested with every class, both by the instructors and your peers. I have attended the Jui Jitsu classes for 2.5 months, and for me it has become a staple in my daily routine, and a very real avenue of personal growth.

This was the 10th planet where i started my No Gi journey. I love this place. It’s the first dojo to call me(Gabe/2018), when I didn’t show up for awhile to see if everything was alright. That small gesture meant more than I anyone may realize. Fast forward to July/August 2021 I spent the month training back here while in the area and it’s still the same great people with the world class instruction. It’s easy to fit in and communicate with anyone here. I’m just going to cal him Dr. Martinez because if JJ had degrees instead of belts he has a PhD. I didn’t participate in anything but JJ this time but from seeing it from across the mats they have great Striking & MMA coaches! The schools gear in always on point with great designs. I truly can’t say enough great things about this 10P.

Great place for training to get back in shape, stay in shape, or get self defense. Classes offered in groups or personal training, anywhere from striking, MMA, Nogi jiu-jitsu or strength and conditioning. The environment is welcoming where the coaches strive to reach everyone and get you to your goals.

This is the best Jiujitsu gym in the world. NoGi all day everyday here! The environment makes me feel at home. My wife loves the women’s classes and my son loves the kids classes.

Who wouldn't give this spot a 5 star review? Staff is welcoming, classes all day for all levels, all different types of training, self defense jiujitsu and with the best coaches. You should come here

Nice place. Friendly staff and all the equipment you can ask for. The set up can feel a bit cluttered but all in all a great place to get a good workout!

I was in San Diego from NYC for a month for work and was spoilt for choice on world-class gyms to train at, so I decided to try a few out and landed on 10P San Diego. This gym totally exceeded my expectations, and they were high to begin with! The community is so friendly and inviting, the training is the best I’ve found anywhere, and there are so many badass women of different sizes, specialties, and skill levels and women’s classes that are actually at normal class times and not at 7 AM on Sundays! Richie’s wife Nora is a black belt and is so unbelievably kind and she does an amazing job of fostering a great community of women. I’m not a mom myself but I noticed a lot of moms who trained there felt comfortable bringing their babies and young kids around, and I think that speaks to the safety and warmth of the environment. I cannot recommend this gym enough to visitors and locals alike. My only gripe is the parking situation, which is totally out of their control but is something to be mindful of. I wish I could teleport and keep training here while I’m back home in NYC!

This gym is awesome! My kids are part of the Jiu-jitsu program and they love it. Parking can get a little bit crazy but there's plenty street parking.

Worldly known jiu jitsu, with teachers and competitors that have been at the highest levels. However don't stop there, take advantage of the MMA and my personal favorite Muay Thai! Manolo Hernandez is the lead MMA coach who has gotten people started from the ground all the way to the UFC along with other big shows. Manolo is more than a hall of famer in San Diego who does professional matchmaking to give you the opportunities people dream of but he truly cares about your well being as a person and not just a fighter. Come be part of the team. When we win we win together and when we lose we're shoulder to shoulder. 10th planet San Diego is taking over, going to be easier to join us than beat us.

Greatest coaches. Greatest teammates. Greatest atmosphere. Everything from strength and conditioning to MMA, this is where you want to be. Morning and night classes work great for flexible schedules or routines. One of us. One of us. One of us....

This fighting gym is like a second home to me. With outstanding BJJ classes guided by Boogie, and adrenaline-pumping MMA sessions with Manolo and the other highly-rated coaches, I couldn't ask for a better training experience. The welcoming atmosphere and expert guidance make it the ultimate place to refine skills and feel at home.

Incredible gym for training! The gym's culture caters to everyone, from beginners to those aiming to compete. I've participated in nearly every class they offer, and I can confidently say there's no other gym quite like this one. Coach Manolo stands out as the finest Muay Thai, kickboxing, and self-defense coach I've ever worked with. On the jiu-jitsu side, Coach Richie Martinez's exceptional talent shines through, and his dedication to his students is truly remarkable. Without a doubt, I would wholeheartedly recommend this gym to anyone. A solid 10/10!

Best training gym I've been to. The people who are enrolled here are amazing. The skill level of a lot of the students is extremely high, there is even one IBJJF World Champ who attends. But the great thing is that even though the skill level of the advanced students is high, they aren't overly prideful and everyone is willing to help each other learn. 10th Planet Costa Mesa has become more than just my gym in the 4 months I've been regularly attending, it is now my 2nd family and will continue to be my 2nd home for the foreseeable future.

Such an authentic gym, since the day i stepped in, I felt like family. Manolo with his great vibes always makes you laugh, great technique and mma classes! Richie is the coolest dude ever, along with Joe and Jacob, top notch jujitsu classes. Bill the owner did a great job building this gym!

Dropped in for BJJ while visiting SD on a work trip and they were super hospitable. Richie’s class was A+ and the guys I rolled with were all the right combination of talented and chill af.

It's my favorite place to train, it suits my schedule. The coaches are really nice and the moves they teach are really useful in a fight or in danger.

Went today to drop into their Jiu jitsu class and then take boxing right after. It's plenty of room for Jiu jitsu but not too much for striking. Coach for boxing was plenty good though. Great attitudes all around I had a nice time.

If you are a woman looking for a friendly, safe environment where to train martial arts and self defense this is the place! Kid friendly too… they have classes for children and grownups at the same time so you can both train. No more sitting on the sidelines when you can also be training. Not to mention the community and the wonderful people you’ll meet here: coaches and partners alike.

😠 The sales pressure for customers is so real. It is the commission of the fitness managers and district managers that matters. 👍👍 Revel is the absolute best! After trying several other gyms and classes after moving to San Diego, Revel was exactly what I was looking for.
