So during Covid-19 the gym suspended everyone’s account so that you’re not being charged for something you’re not using which i thought was great. But then recently they reopened and i was never notified. No email, No phone call smh nothing at all! I randomly check my account and notice a charge from Planet Fitness. I called for a reimbursement because of course i don’t want to be charged for services I’m not using. They refuse to reimburse me and directed me to customer service. Well customer service redirected me to the main store and i spoke to the manager Nick and he still couldn’t help. At this point I’m disgusted by the customer service and lack of appreciation for customers and rough times. I simply ask to be reimbursed for services i didn’t receive and Planet fitness made it seem impossible. I’m happy to have canceled and i will never go back.

They have very rude staff!! When I'm working out I can hear the staff behind the counter talk about how bad I sweat. I thought this was a no judgement zone? It's been 3 weeks and the problem still exist with your manager Alexa. She continues to be a problem. Can I talk to her manager to get this problem resolved?

No Planet Fitness will get a good review bc I still haven't gotten an answer. $25.05×12=$300.60 for a membership. That's a lot but OK. What I want to know how exactly an extra payment of $39 annually on top of my membership keeps my account running smoothly without unnecessary paperwork? It definitely doesn't cover if dues are late bc planet fitness charges and additional fee for that also. For a company with a $587m+ revenue. It feels like PF is taking advantage of people by padding their pockets even more just bc they can. Employees are nice. Even tho I'm willing to bet money they aren't paid a livable wage.

I joined Planet Fitness because I was looking for a gym I could just walk into and work out without being intimidated and that's exactly what I got. It has all the equipment I would need and a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Locker rooms are clean and the lockers are free, which was a great unexpected bones. Only pet peeve was that there is a 30 minute circuit training room with clear instructions and people just came in and treated that equipment like the rest of the equipment in the gym, doing multiple reps making it impossible to actually use as intended, but other than that every is great.

Super small no enough space. Its always packed and there is no air ventilation! I feel suffocated in there all the time. Its really doesn't feel comfortable to workout in side this gym because it turns into a sauna. They have not updated any of gym equipments in years. But overall if you want a cheap affordable gym and don't mind all this then your good.

**As of June there is a program that teens workout for free until the end of August** After work, I have found it extremely hard to get on machines that aren’t being “used” by teens from the program. Most of the time they’re hanging out with friends and chatting. I appreciate what P.F is doing for the community, but as a paying member I am deeply unsatisfied that there is not a compromise to regulate the “free workout program” hours.

This gym does not allow you to cancel your membership without coming into the gym. Since I was in the process of moving and had no car, I could not come to the gym for a long time to cancel my membership. When I finally cancelled it in person, the worker said that I would be charged $40 or more for the yearly fee that was apparently coming up. They said I would’ve had to cancel two weeks or something before the yearly fee. I would have cancelled my membership long ago if there was an online cancel option. I then called this location and emailed their corporate email multiple times, with everyone I spoke with telling me to contact the other one and saying there was nothing the system would let them do. Besides this issue, I loved attending this Planet Fitness. But this situation was very annoying and terrible and made it so I had no money in my account for a while.

Gym is alright. Clean, active staff. Broken equipment gets replaced reasonably quickly but my biggest problem with planet fitness is their music. Literally everyone in the gym is wearing headphones. I don’t understand why the music must be so loud. I got multiple alerts on my iPhone saying that music was over 90db. I politely asked if the staff could turn it down just a little and he said he’s not allowed to. I guess they will be “allowed to” as soon as they get hit by a multimillion dollar lawsuit. Nothing against the people working there. Everything against planet fitness.

It’s okay. Good equipment. Nice staff. Cons: Showers are filthy at times. One of the showers does not have hot water. Edit: The toilets are always clogged. The manager, I think, placed the “out of order” signs, and left to chit chat with a coworker. I’ll cancel if stuff like this is a regular occurrence.

So this is actually a great gym. The staff is consistent with their cleaning efforts, and are very friendly. The equipment is generally well maintained and working properly. And I would say for the most part, the members at the facility are courteous and follow posted guidelines regarding cleaning of machines and re-racking weights. However, there are always the exceptions. Rude people in their own bubble who are in too much of a hurry to be respectful…but you can’t fault the gym or staff for them. Overall I’ve been very happy with this gym and my membership in general.

They don't seem too concerned about if people are cleaning the equipment after getting off. They just seem stay at the front desk and just worry about the people coming in with mask. I feel they should do more and pay attention to the customers who are not cleaning the equipment and just using it and walking away

I got cleaner sprayed on my head and on my face while I was on the massage beds and when I asked the gentleman to be careful, he kindly apologized and went on his way. His wife started yelling and saying “don’t say be careful, that’s rude”. While we were going back and forth, she walked toward me and her husband said to stop and she gave up and left. The staff could clearly hear something was going on. They did NOTHING about it and when I told them what happened they had nothing to say, and gave a weak apology. For as long as I have been going to a gym, this has been my worst experience. Never again.

They literally charged me membership renewal a day after I canceled my membership, I cant believe how greedy and unreasonable a company can get! Worst gym ever , never even gonna think of going there again! Disgusting!

This is a great facility. Very clean and well maintained. The only problem is that there is not hot water in 2 of the men's showers

I love the variety of equipment, the staff, the CLEANING STATIONS. The cleaning stations are so nice to have around even after covid eventually settles, it’s great to have to wipe off sweat after your use! Clean station is a happy station! Also, when a piece of equipment is out of order it doesn’t stay that way for long. It’s replaced or fixed within a week! The bathrooms are kept clean and neat. I appreciate you guys!

I like the floor design and how things are laid out. There are enough machines for most exercises and you seldom if ever have to wait for one. I also enjoy the interaction with the staff. I go in the mornings and Chloe, Alexia, and Chris are usually there to greet me by name and answer any questions I may have or recommend things that may help me on my fitness journey. I feel like a valued club member and not just some nameless/faceless guy working out in a gym.

Hydro massage is better than the chiropractor roller table. Very clean place, has sanitizer and disinfectant u clean off machine where u touched, so it's neat there. And fresh. And helpful staff cuz I haven't been in a gym for decades. I decide I need to get out of sun 🌞!! And so this was cool and great. I walked on tred mill slowly cuz I was injured but this was comfortable and staff showed me how to use it. Sorry been in cave but they didn't treat me funny for not knowing how to use the facility and machines. Please try the massagers chair and hydro massage bed oh man. My aches are gone .

Good place to start if you're new to fitness. Easily the cleanest gym I've ever been to, all equipment is very new and in great condition. Unbeatable price. The downside is that they are crowded and they have no large free weight bars (bench, squat, clean, etc) so you'll want to move on to a real gym once you gain a little basic fitness though. Still a good way to save money for your first 3-6 months of weightlifting or if you only use treadmills/elliptical machines.

Everyone at this location is very nice. I've been here for a while now and saw different staff members and all of them were super nice and helpful. My only remark would be to be mindful of the temperatures outside, as it does get super hot inside and sometimes smelly :) also, please use some scent/freshener in the space between the 2 front doors (that 5ft corridor smells bad and it's the first scent you feel when entering the gym).

Honestly, this gym is really well run. From the staff, being courteous to the facilities being super clean to all the guests very polite and courteous. One of the better gym experiences I’ve had.

Always busy. Showers are warm to cold like. Lots of people always at the weight area to pump iron so I have to use the machines but I'm cool with that for now. Water spits out good until other people flushes the toilet or other people uses the showers. Bathroom needs the toilet seat cover because lots of people be using it. I don't want to sit on p.ss and poop so I gatta use toilet paper as seat covers. It's not the best place. I think mira mesa is the best one. Even the one at Euclid Ave is bigger and better. Just saying. It's a workout place. It works. Fix these stuff and it'll be better. Today the water filter wasn't working properly too. Maintenance needs to step it up. I know the place is old but still. It's plannet fitness and we pay for MAINTENANCE.

I have mixed feelings about this gym. The staff do a very good job checking people in and their cleaning is second to none. HOWEVER, they do nothing to clean the immediate front entrance on the outside and you’re often walking around trash, which gives you the ghetto vibe. Speaking of ghetto, the shopping center this gym is located at is a dump with weird people walking around the parking lot, sometimes aimlessly looking for gym goers to bother. If your a woman, you definitely do not want to be walking to and from your car by yourself at night. As others have said, cell service sucks but I can’t really put that on planet fitness. They are a little cheap with the AC on a hot day and don’t offer enough internet bandwidth when the gym is busy. Please planet fitness address the overall condition of the shopping center with your landlord or move gym to cleaner neighborhood! The staff earns this gym 3 stars with 2 star deduction for location.

It’s a smaller facility however very clean and organized. All team members are friendly and kind the facility has several equipment weights, message chair and tv and lockers with showers also offers cleaning supplies to clean the equipment after every used for a great and safe workout experience. I’m a Happy member.

I only been here twice. The staff is super friendly! The only bad thing is you can’t get cell service. Both times I’ve been there. It hasn’t been crowded. I like how quiet it is. Everyone is minding their business! I feel like it is very beginner friendly. I would definitely come back for a third time.

The staff, especially Vanessa has been super friendly and helpful. The gym is well maintained and makes cleanliness a priority. My location is typically not busy, theres no wait to utilize the equipment or other facilities. I love the black card spa, definitely a reward and something to look forward to after a good workout.

I’ve been a member with planet fitness for almost a decade now, and I always have a great experience, however Crystal at this location really showed lack of professionalism I’m here every day and I’m always so kind to everyone and clean up after myself so for her to have some sort of prejudice towards me is very curious and really upsetting and hurtful. :(

I been coming to this location for a while now, typically go at different times, the place is clean and everything for its location. All of it was fine until I had to interact with the employees, please teach them manners and to speak up. I'm shy too and it was hard for me to say hello to one person and be passed on to the next, and asked questions and them not knowing the answer or talking very low. The only person that was on point was the girl scheduling the beds, rooms, etc. Out the 4 different guys that looked lost and annoyed. (This was around 5ish almost 6pm)

Everything inside looks good. The staff is very friendly. The equipment looks good. I love the membership price.

Very very clean. Nice equipment. Friendly staff. Not a single barbell in the building. No squat racks, only smith machines. Heaviest dumbbell I saw was 80lb. Great for beginners, not good for a intermediate lifters, terrible if you are an advanced lifter. Costs nearly the same as 24 and way more than Crunch, both of which have better strength training equipment.

The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They should be cleaned frequently considering there is still a pandemic going on. The new crew working at the desk look absolutely miserable and I can tell they don't want to be there. Only reason I use this location is because it's not that far.

Clean gym! No drama and the trainer is off the hook!! That was 3 years ago- Today 6/25/23 The staff is great when they are here. This has been the 4th time I have showed up and doors are not open. Short staffed? Not sure. Scheduling issues? Don’t know. I can go to any location, this one is just more convenient from my home. Planet Fitness get it together!

Planet fitness needs to enforce their NO Phone policy. Very frustrating that you have many users that are spending more time on their phones (while taking up a machine) than actually working out!

My wife and I have been going to this gym for a few years now and really enjoy it. We own a meal prep company here in San Diego called The Lean Machine Meal Prep and the gym is right down the street from our commercial kitchen so it is super convenient. They have all the equipment we need to get amazing workouts and their abs machines are top notch. Being one of the more seasoned lifters in the gym, I really enjoy teaching/showing the others members exercises that I use. I have met a lot of really nice people there as well and the staff is always super friendly. 5 stars(out of 10) j/k 5 out of 5 all day. Anthony Lero

I'm stunned to read the positive reviews because Idk what gym these people are going to. There's machines "out of order" all the time. There's knobs missing from parts of machines that you use to adjust. There's almost ALWAYS minimal to no soap in the women's restroom sinks. I'm always bouncing between all three sinks. This morning the furthest left sink trickled water on my hands, which was a joke. And the worst part is that I pay for the black card specifically for the hydro bed. I've been coming here for almost 4 years (regretting that) and you have no idea how many times one bed has been down and the other is being used. For MONTHS at a time, this bed is down. Just got told that yet again. Sick of this place but only come because I can also use the black card to travel to other locations because I travel a lot

Very clean and positive environment. I suffer from major social anxiety and have been to many gyms around the area. But this gym makes me feel welcome, unjudged, and there are many machine for anything and everything! I highly recommend this gym

A very clean and well-kept gym. It's rare to see an "out of order" sign on any of the equipment. This gym in particular is usually pretty low population too, so it's never an issue trying to find the machine you're looking for. Very happy to have recently purchased a membership. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love this gym. 10 mins from home. Most of staff friendly. Equipped with all the equipment I need to get/stay in shape. For ALL adult age groups. It can get crowded so plan your hours accordingly. No gym is perfect so I'm not going to point out every little problem. If something is wrong inform the staff/manager.
