We went out of our way for this. Good chicken wings but I wouldn't be sad if I didn't visit.

Came here for nomikai, the place was very crowded so it's advisable that you book the place first :) The chicken wing is amazing, very nice, lots of pepper, crispy & stuff. We ordered super spicy but apparently it's just with more pepper & MSG (not spicy as we expected), too salty for us so it's better to order the regular one. Other dishes are good, but not that special, service also very nice, you can have free flow drink for 3 hours, & lastly they gave us coupon for free something if we come again.. haha

We recieved raw chicken on a stick, it was so icky. The rest of the food was fine, but that just should not happen in a chicken restaurant.

Chicken wings are so soft and tasty. Salt and pepper are powerful. 👌🏻 But Tebasaki wings are awesome!

The tebasaki fried chicken wings have a great balance of spicy and sweet bringing a unique and tasty flavor anyone will enjoy. Yamachan is a popular chain restaurant that you can find in Nagoya, Kyoto, and Tokyo. This is a place I would recommend when you want to have some beer and eats some wings!

A 3.7 is justified for the this place. I found it when I was looking for wings a while back and finally got a chance to go. It’s an izakaya that has a nice selection of dishes and specializes in chicken, with an origin from Nagoya. The wings were quite good and both juicy and crispy. The miso tsukune was great. The other dishes were decent too, but those were the standouts along with the cabbage and sesame. Prices were reasonable and good service.

We'd been meaning to try Sekai No Yamachan for quite some time as a famous izakaya chain from Nagoya, known for their tebasaki (fried chicken wings) seasoned with their signature pepper powder. To be honest, and maybe we were over hyped over the years, but we were left disappointed. The wings while decent were a bit dry and over seasoned. From all the dishes we ordered, the fries (with the same seasoning) and their croquettes were the ones that were okay. As an izakaya, obviously drinking with some food is the big draw. The food quality is average but if you're planning to drink more, their famous seasoning, which is peppery and salty, on any kind of fried food can pair well and be a reason to come here.

One of the favorite for goto Izakaya with amazing food and drink options. The tebasaki chicken cannot be missed. These are addictive and delicious with a glass of lemon sour. There is lot of place to sit and smoking room too.

If you are going after their miracle Teba (miracle chicken wing) you would be disappointed. Now they have huge menu for beer. If you want beer and chuhai or sour, this is good izakaya. Pretty crowded with office people after work hour! Not so friendly place for tourist. Staff are nice!!

Average place for an average dinner. I went because everywhere was fully booked in the pre-Christmas season.

Famous chicken wings from Nagoya and a salad menu that is different from the original menu In the restaurant is quite narrow and having to go down to the basement may be inconvenient for customers using wheel chairs. The store staff only speaks Japanese. Must use google translate or English menu to order food.

Love their fried chicken wings, a little salty but it's amazing.
