The name may make u think this is a beauty salon, but it actually isn't. This place has history and oozing old-world charm. Customers are mostly locals and are mostly elderly. For many of them, this place probably brings back fond memories of their younger days. You can just walk in. They prefer you booked ahead, but come here early, say before noon (they open at 11:30am), you'll most likely get a seat and have lunch. This review refers to the restaurant on the 4th floor. That's where the old-world charm is at its best. Waiters are very well trained and refined like a 5 star restaurant. Food is middle to slightly high price. Their curries are legendary, so we tried them. It didn't disappoint, rich in flavor but medium to mild, meat are so tender, comes with rice and condiments. Also, this is one of the very few places in Japan, where we actually had our bills at the table, not at the cashier as most do. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. When it's about 12:30pm, already a long queue was forming, it goes to show how popular this place really is.

I went there today and the service was terrible. I would give the service 0 stars if i could. First off, we waited in line for an hour to get in, and when we went in, most of the tables were empty. Our order was mistaken multiple times, the waitress insisted on talking to my friend who didn’t speak japanese instead of me, and then claimed the order mistakes were due to a “language barrier” She told us that a parfait we ordered was out of stock, and when we tried to order something instead, she asked if we wanted it as a topping. In the end, they did have it in stock and she spent 20 minutes going between different waiters. In the end, we spent almost 40 minutes waiting for our order. None of the waiters seemed to know what they were doing. There was one waiter who went in and out of the kitchen for 5 minutes, holding the same box of tissues. Most of them walked around and paused a lot, talking to the other waiters. The food was 10/10, but the service was horrible and I will not be coming back.

We came here for the omurice and the strawberries parfait. Although being a dessert store in Ginza area, the omurice was made incredibly delicately. So fluffy We visited in April, which was the month the Japanese strawberries were in season for their famous strawberries parfait. The whipped cream was very light and airy. Also for western travelers- the 2000yen tea is served only a cup not a tea pot.

When in Tokyo, particularly in Ginza where one can bask in the life of the rich & famous, there are many way to splurge your money and since this is a food post I'm going to write something on dessert. FYI you seldom read posts on desserts on my page because I am not really a dessert person and I'm on a low carb diet most of the times. Eating like these everyday would definitely give me a bulging waist and a risk of heart attack. This fancy dessert place is located on the 3rd floor of Shiseido building in the glitzy area of Ginza not far from the swanky Ginza Six mall, one has to queue like everyone else - no reservation or booking - and if it's packed, might have to start waiting on the 1st floor before proceeding to the 3rd. ◾The whole cafe was in pink colour, clean and tidy but honestly, it looked tired and seriously in dire need of refurbishment. ◾Once you were seated, just browsed through their menu before making your selection. ◾"Koihime" Special Strawberry Parfait ¥1890 - I'm not a fan of dessert but since this particular item was one of the must try, I have it a go. One scoop was all it took to get me hooked.. clearly too notch ingredients were used to create this beautiful cup of strawberry Parfait and I found myself enjoying it. ◾Homemade Cake Set ¥1540 - it comes with a choice of coffee or tea. They have specified in the menu that they can't sell only single item cake so the set is the only choice. Once you placed this order, they will push a cart over to you and you have to choose one out of many beautiful selections on the spot. Take time to sit down and enjoy your choice of dessert and satisfy your sweet craving at the same time.

If you wish to having a dessert here, you have to get the queue number at G flr, and register through mobile phone. Then you can explore Ginza and get notified when it's your turn. It took me 4 hours (in the afternoon) wait time. Shop decoration is very stylish, neat and clean. Service is top notch, dessert also very good. Very enjoyable and relaxing moment.

Came here for just the dessert, and they also have a seasonal menu. Great atmosphere, cozy and comfortable. Great place to bring a date or even by yourself. Must come here at least once.

Shiseido does not just have skincare products, but also an edible selection next to their flagship store in Ginza. The parlour sells different food items, from Kobe beef microwaveable stews to boxes of assorted cookies and fresh cakes. Looks very nice and is indeed pricy but a nice shop.

We went to the cafe on the third floor (restaurant is on the 4th) for tea-time. Options are on the sweet side and lesser savoury options. They have monthly specials so I expect the menu to change slightly ever so often. Very IG worthy. Go on a weekday and it'll be less crowded.

Great service , and just tranquil relaxing place to be at for our first lunch visit here. Had the lunch set followed by their signature strawberry parfait and added on the shortcake to try. Nice way to end off our last day in Tokyo. It’s also great for solo travellers.

The restaurant is on the 4F/5F of the Shiesedo Tokyo Ginza building. Reservation is highly recommended. I ordered the set option B - every course was well prepared. The meat main course tastes like osso buco. Another dish to try is the omelette rice (Omurice). There are 4 types of sauces come with the omurice. You can enjoy it with a new discovery and a fresh feeling. The atmosphere is elegant but it can be too formal to some people. I will dine there again when I visit Tokyo.

The legendary "omurice" was delicious and photogenic! The seasonal strawberry parfait was also nice. Excellent hospitality and parlour-like tone.

Excellent service as this is a high-end restaurant. The rice omelette is great, fairly rich flavor and perfect egg layer texture with delicious ingredients. Well done!

We had a 2 1/2 hour wait on Sunday afternoon for parfaits in Ginza, but the store LINE'd us when a table was ready. The parfaits and service were perfect.

There were no flaws in neatness and food was absolutely fabulous. Some foods haVe gold leaf on them! Coffees were good and the soda float was awesome! The people were super kind too! Bit pricey but worth every ¥!

Wonderful lunch in Ginza. Ordered the set lunch. The service was superb. The lady staff had limited English. The restaurant was filled with locals. I wanted to take a photo of the interior but was shy. The decor is very grand. Beautiful experience!

This long history parlor at Ginza is surely one of most famous one in Japan. I could get a this month limited chestnut parfait in last mins! Yey! My friend ordered other dish though I think mine was winner. ;)

Amazing parfaits. Crazily over priced. But at a place like this you are paying for more than just the food. Very well know. And popular. Definitely worth trying.

👍 A very nice sushi bar at Tsukiji Outer Fish Market. We went in the morning and there were tables available. The selection was great and the sushi even better. Ordering in English was easy via a tablet. The bill is attached to the back of your seat, you just take it to the till to pay.
