Definitely not a tourist beach but if you’re stuck at the airport for a while and want something to do this is much more interesting than a departures lounge! Has a few traditional food stalls and views of the planes arriving/departing.

Beach is not what it used to be.

Small modern airport next to the beach, good access, very few people speak English, so a basic understanding of Spanish is advised

Average beach. There are better beaches if you head north.

Santa Martha is beautiful city with many places to visit.

Heard from locals this beach is enjoyable due to the wave action as most other beaches have very low waves. I was also surprised by how clean it looked. There are plenty of shady trees to hide from the sun as well

The airport is also on the beach, you could actually check-in then go for a swim

This was a nice airport although very very warm inside and the electric kelp going off. I'm not sure if one was the result of the other. Plenty of food options if you are hungry. Fast and easy to get out of and in to.

Airport to the ocean with a great view. Check-in, baggage drop and control were very fast. Friendly staff as well
