This place is wonderful! The shark tank room is great and food was fantastic!! Service was top notch!

Our server was awesome, she was so quick with drink refills, polite new her menu was able to offer recommendations. Food came out quick and hot, we sat in the deck great shade and atmosphere love the lady stamping hands. Great stop for lunch unique menu. Clean and seemingly following all covid expectations, masks are not required.

Good food. Prices are good. I had their fish tacos, ribs, and pork. Absolutely delicious. You can choose to sit outside on their pation next a Flamingo habitat. Or inside next to a giant shark tank.

The best smokey, sweet, and spicy KC bbq I've had in years, we ordered extra to take home. If that's not enough to get you to a table then maybe the atmosphere of this restaurant will. The main dining hall features a giant shark tank with black tips and other reef predators while the patio and bar look over a flamingo filled lagoon. This is a perfect location for an informal and fun dinner or date. Be sure to try the Bavarian pretzel appetizer it is fantastic.

Great staff and great food! We are here after going through out the zoo. The dining area is attached to the tank with sharks and fish which is super cool for the kids! The prices are pretty alright for the taste and quality. I had the turkey club sandwich and the turkey was very tasty and had a moist texture to it. I got Mac and cheese as the side and it was a pretty basic tasting Mac n cheese. Overall not a bad meal and I would eat here again. The staff are all super nice and attentive!

We have yet to go to the actual Zoo. As far as Dillon’s food and service, it’s all amazing. Always friendly staff and all the food is so good. The BBQ there is one of the best I’ve had. I’ve tried BBQ from many places and states. Dillon’s is at the top of my list.

Dillons KC BBQ has what you expect for the typical BBQ with smoked sausage, pulled chicken or pork, brisket and of course the yummy burnt ends. Make a reservation if you want to eat at the aquarium....its definitely worth it, fun for kids of ALL ages. Their take out is just as good as eating in, not like some that's skimp on the sauces or sides.

Used to really love this Dillion's location but the cleanliness & overall vibe has really gone down hill recently especially on the restaurant side. We drive out of our way now to the other 3 locations instead. Management: Please re-do & refresh this cool location ...the tile floors are dirty, chairs/tables are old & rickety & the carpeted area in the center is super gross. Thank goodness the food is still outstanding and service is pretty good.

You can't go wrong here! First, the environment is great...inside or outside. Thankful we had options outside with our large group that includes several small children. The staff were friendly though we were Very disappointed that they'd run out of crayons for the kids. I even went to the gift shop and they didn't offer any for sale even. Coloring books but no crayons?? Anyway, the food was good and we had a great time.

The atmosphere was calm and the servers were hospitable. The food was overwhelmingly delicious. If you love BBQ I highly recommend giving this place a try before visiting the zoo. You can walk off the food. Try to leave room for dessert. We didn't get to try the desserts.

Such a fun restaurant. The environment is great, the service is quick, the food is delicious, and best of all you get to see zoo animals while eating dinner! The patio is right next to the flamingo pen and the inside of the restaurant is a giant aquarium. Such a fun place for anyone. Definitely a must visit for out of towners and locals!

Sat at the bar because I was alone. The bartender was my server and the server for the entire bar area. She was efficient and friendly. I tried the sweet spicy sauce on the side for my burnt ends. I think I should have got a sample of each for variety. Football on the tv and flamingos just off the patio and great aquariums for being in the desert. A few of the burn ends were mostly fat but the rest tender. I got broccoli that was cooked perfectly and a smaller blue cheese wedge salad with ice tea that was refreshing. It was pricey for a lunch for me though being close to $40

Always a great time at Dillon's! We had a 10 minute wait, but got great seats!Great sammitches, the appetizers are super tasty, the service is always friendly and personable. A great date-night restaurant & also a great place to take the kids! Not too pricey, and an atmosphere you cannot beat anywhere else! Definitely a repeatable experience!

Good place to eat after a long day at the zoo. Restraunt is nice it has fish tanks and loved the seating options they had. You are able to sit in the bar section or outside and enjoy the zoo, especially the flamingo section or the dining area. We chose the outside patio (no smell from the flamingo section). The weather was great, and the view was nice. Service was good but slow. The food was delicious, and I honestly recommend it. The price is decent.

Meats tasted old. Food was cold in spots and hot in others, likely microwaved. A cockroach ran out from under my chair. Overpriced because of the location. Watching the sea turtle in the tank was pretty cool though. And our server was nice.

The country fried chicken was probably the best I've ever had, the beans were also very good. My wife got ribs and brisket but it wasn't as good as the country fried chicken. We got to sit next to the ocean so that was very unique and added to the experience! Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend.

Low quality BBQ. Kind of had a school/hospital cafeteria taste. The fish tank was amazing! Its the only reason we return with our kids. Definitely recommend just getting an appetizer or dessert and enjoy the fish but get dinner elsewhere.

We really enjoyed Dillons, KC barbecue, that’s a very nice venue with the large aquariums inside with the shark swimming. it’s very entertaining and intriguing. The service was excellent. One of our guests did not like something that she had ordered just because of personal taste, and she mentioned it they were more than happy to replace it with something else with no problem. Our drinks were constantly being refilled by all available staff. The menu was described in detail so that we would have an understanding of what we were ordering and the type of food that was available. Before we left, We were able to walk right out on the heated patio and see all of the beautiful flamingo. It was just amazing, I highly recommend this location. We had a wonderful time.

This was my first time going here. It is great!!! I got the two meat entree which is baby backs and beef ribs, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The ambiance is great also and me and my family will return.and hopefully we can visit the zoo there .😀

The ambience next to the shark tank is absolutely gorgeous. There are menu cards for children to color with crayons. The onion rings tasted very good. Chicken Tenders and the burger was not so good.
