I'd unreservedly recommend this particular branch. Free parking in Waitrose's large nearby carpark adds icing to the cake!     I ordered 2 different glasses for my daughter and son. I said my son doesn't need straight away but my daughter has no glasses.Please can you make it earlier since she goes to the school. They told me we will give you within 2 weeks but we will do our best.After 2 weeks later they gave us only my son's glasses and my daughter glasses will be late because we made a mistake and must return to the producer and we will contact you. I called the shop so many times everytime they told me we will contact you.After 6 weeks later my daughter school's final week I called again they told me your glasses at shop you can take it. I said why didn't you call me?Very disappointed,not recommended 😞

    I have been going to specsavers most of my life feeling like its the only place i should be getting my glasses and contact lenses from. But i've had enough. I hate that i always have to rebook eye tests before i get new glasses or contacts, its just more ways to rinse your money. When i studying at Kingston Uni i went to the local store there, i remember when i moved closer to New Malden that they made me move my account, redo an eyetest, redo a contact lens test. It all just adds up. I have run out of contact lenses , and just want to order more to get me by until i have time to book an appointment, but tried to call to get new lenses ordered. No one picks up. I tried to reorder on the website but my account exists but never sends me a password reset. I haven't got a solid prescription printed or in my emails, so I never have any idea what my eye health is like. And i can't order lenses online elsewhere while i'm running out of the stock i have. I absolutely hate it. I walked into store today to try and reorder lenses to be told that because my prescription is 5 months out of date, i have to rebook an appt to get it tested. again, MORE money. MORE time. One time i went to Cubitts in London because a friend recommended and they literally emailed me everything. My perscription, my scans, everything. You can order frames online and they send you them to your house. But since its far away from home, i went back to Specsavers. Honestly regret it. I will no longer be going back to Specsavers NM.

    I took my three grandchildren for eye tests this afternoon. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient, enabling me to take up a third appointment when another customer did not turn up. The eye tests were very thorough and professionally completed. Thank you.

    I felt serious mixed feeling about this store today when I went for my eye checkup.Half the staff until I go to the optician were the best best but that lady right there (optician) omg she made me nervous and literally was rude to me. This isn’t a supermarket to rush things , eye test takes time but this lady made me do thing so quick that I don’t even know if the power she given is right! On top I paid for extra scan were I didn’t get report for it as it felt like she didn’t even talk anything about the scan to me ! Like girl? I paid for it atleast tell me what’s going on with me. To much hissing during the test , not ready to listen to any answers from me for her own questions. Omg ride it was👎

    I just want to say how wonderful the optician was at spec savers today. I was concerned about an eye problem and wanted them checked. I had been to other opticians but no one would see me. Then I phoned new malden and came across the lovely optician who was so kind and made time to see me. She checked everything and was so caring. I really recommend this shop as they are so caring! It restored my faith in human nature when so many people are so dismissive and not bothered!

    Everything you need for eye care. I recently had an eye test and I was very impressed with their state of the art machinery. The selection of frames is decent with varying price across a range of styles, from designer brands to cheaper alternatives that are equally as good. I picked up 3 new pairs of glasses that all came in a different colour box. Service from the staff was exceptional. Thank you

    First-rate opticians, rare these days. Brilliant service, helpful staff. The person who assisted me had a quick grasp of my problem. She spent time working out my prescription and costs – she called my previous opticians, queried some anomalies on my prescription and all with a wonderful manner and a huge smile. They are at the top end of the high street in New Malden, just a couple of minutes walk from the mainline station, this store is ideally located. The store itself is very well organised, bright and welcoming.

    Absolutely happy with the service at Specsavers New Malden. All of the staff are very professional and remember their customers, giving a really personal touch to the service. I have recently had a further experience at this branch with Ayesha, She re-arrange a new eye test and explain me all the procedure, and made me feel comfortable, answer all my question, and extremely good and careful when doing my tests.     Thanks to my optometrist, a very serious issue in my eye was diagnosed and referred to the emergency eye unit, without which I could have lost all vision. Extremely grateful for the thorough check ups and repeated scans. Thank you team !

    Not happy with Specsavers. I have got the trial package of contact lens which does not say which brand it is but just by Coopervision and on the prescription it states linarial for day under style but does not give the brand at all because Specsaver does not want you to order the lens online and get them cheaper. Will be going to Eyecontact at least their prescription states the brand which we have tried and is on the prescription.

    Had the loveliest interaction today. My glasses broke down this morning and I could not get them back together because the screw to hold the lense in place was very tiny. Called in to almost an immediate pick up and asked if anyone could help with this and was told to just pop up at the location. When I arrived I said I was the one that called and immediately got serviced and glasses were fixed in 2 minutes. Free of charge as well! Thank you very much! I recommend if anyone needs glass repairing services.

    Service was, as always, amazing! I am mobility impaired and was helped by the staff. I received my new spectacles, and am trying to adapt, feel as if I am unbalanced. But the mind will accommodate the new spectacles in a matter of time. I realise this. The team were magnificent. Well done !

    My parent had a very good experience in the branch. friendly staff, professional and polite. Optician explained the results of eye test very clearly. Optician found out serious issue in my dad eye condition so she called hospital immediately and referred letter to GP. Thank you for all the help.

    Avoid, poor service. If I could give 0 stars then I would. I booked a contact lense consultation having had an eye test within the last 2 years as it asked when I booked the consultation. I was told in store that because my last eye test was done abroad it was not acceptable and it had to have been done within the last 12 months. I was told I had to have an eye test at a cost of £25 to then have the contact lense consultation which is ridiculous as I had a photo of my prescription. Store staff were not apologetic and were not willing to help. Such a waste of my time and effort trying to get contact lenses for a first time wearer. I am appalled at the service and the lack of information on your website when booking. This is why I usually get my glasses abroad because things are unnecessarily difficult in the UK. I wanted to wear contact lenses daily and I would have ordered from you but I will never use your services again.
