It's okay, I get it ..not everyone wants fish in Florida. The Cheese steak sandwich was fabulous! Grouper sandwich well no wonder it's world famous!!! The best of the best. Yes! Order the pretzel you'll be glad you did! Thank you for great service!

Excellent service at this location! We tried a lot of food and recommend the oysters, crab fries, fried corn, orange duck, Cajun scallops, and coconut shrimp. The original grouper sandwich was ok but bland. I personally didn’t like crab claws or clams. That might be because we eat a lot of Pacific Ocean seafood and prefer the taste. All in all, would come again!

No complaints...not one! We had a table of 10 on a Fri night and our server was THE Best! She knew everything about the menu! We started off with Garlic crab fries. Those were phenomenal! I would definitely go back just for that. For dinner, most of us ordered the grouper sandwich original style and Cajun. Everyone was happy and enjoyed the atmosphere. This is a must visit if your in the Clearwater beach area!!

The wait isn't that long. The staff is friendly. The food here is okay. I didn't like their Famous Smoked Sandwich Spread..I would not recommend that at all, but I heard it was popular. I also didn't like Frenchy's She Crab Soup. My favorite thing in which I ordered was the Crabby Fries. That was amazing. I wish I would have made a better food choice instead of trying something I never tried before.

Really good. I got the octopus because I’m a Greek girl from Tarpon springs and to be honest I didn’t expect to be wowed but it was absolutely amazing. Super tender … delish Also got the grouper nuggets and Calamari It was all really good. Ohh and the deep fried Oreos are off the chain 🤤❤️

Looks like a hole in the wall.. has a very divey feel, lol. But we really enjoyed ourselves. At first I thought the less than enthusiastic host was a prequel of the service we were going to get. We actually thought about leaving and going elsewhere until our friendly waitress arrived, bringing us water and a smile. How can we leave her? Lol... well we stayed and were so glad we did... the lobster tail was done perfectly... It was huge and succulent.. I was so pleased. His burger was just right. The clams and oysters tasty and the shrimp..wow!

Delicious food. Very simple place but with a lot of enjoyment. Showed up , it was hot and humid outside. As you walk inside there are many vents shooting out mists of water. Cooling you off a bit. Then we sat down and order our appetizer. The garlic crab fries were delicious. Seasoned fries had crabmeat on top. Had lots of flavor. We ordered fish tacos, the pretzel, which is a fish and the shrimp salad. Fish tacos had great flavor but add the lemon and jalapeno hot sauce. The pretzel was really good. Better than most places. Cheese dipping sauce was good. The salad was delicious and full of flavor.

Some of the best scallops and shrimp I've had in a very long time! Waiter was friendly and shared most popular meals! The Tarter sauce was homemade and delicious!!!

Enjoyed the crab fries, grilled grouper sandwich, seafood trio, and kids grouper nuggets. The seafood and fish are incredibly fresh, and the housemade tartar and cocktail sauces were amazing. The fried corn and potato salad were delicious, as well. Our server, Tyler, was attentive and made excellent suggestions. My family would definitely go back.

It’s hidden behind CVS, part of the Frenchy’s chain that has 6 restaurants in the area. Hailey was my server & she was friendly & attentive. Food was good, just like at their other location I visited Rockaway grill. Had steamed clams, BBQ wings & corn on the cob. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of seating & parking which was free. Also had a bar. There was outdoor seating in the back & the seating area when you first walk in was an open style, no windows. Definitely worth stopping at. There was no wait when I went it was about 5:30 pm.

Great food just off the main drag near Clearwater beach. Place was crowded, but we were seated quickly. Service was good. Food was very tasty and fresh. Beer battered crab fries were definitely interesting and tasty! Tequila lime tacos were awesome. Grouper nuggets were fresh and lightly battered. Awesome place!

Nice place with pretty tasty food. Our table shared crab fries, fried gator, and the bone fish pretzel. I had the seafood pot pie and it was nice and creamy with the right balance of all the ingredients.

My sisters and I dined here on Thursday, 07/21, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food, service and atmosphere was great. We had the conch fritters, crab fries, grouper nuggets basket and the crispy chicken sandwich. It was sooo yummy, the portions were also so huge, we could not finish it all. Josh is an excellent employee as well, provided excellent service. We will be back!

This was next to our hotel and we had coupons. The service was very hit or miss on the multiple occasions we went. The food was consistently great and is the reason we kept returning. Drinks are ok; many fruity beach drinks that are not heavy. This makes them very refreshing and enjoyable, but expensive to get a buzz. Expect a wait during peak times, but the food is worth it!

Food, drinks and atmosphere top notch! Try the grouper, prepared in a few optional ways. Their drinks are very good and refreshing... Lots of specialties. Even starting their brand "passport to paradise" cocktail challenge. Free t-shirt here we come! Very friendly staff and kind with the suggestions. Cheers! Ps. The fisher's fire hot sauce is great!

It is a really good recommendation found on google. Crab fries are the best of all the things we ordered it is definitely a must try. The corn on the cob and the coconut shrimp tasted amazing too. I wouldn’t recommend jalapeños hush puppies, they don’t seem to be up to the mark. The waiter was really friendly and suggested us to try the char grilled oysters. It was our first time trying oysters and I am glad that we tried it at this place.

Steve was great, fantastic & super fresh local fish. The world famous grouper sandwich is so good, the crab soup also! Delicious Fries. Get there before the dinner rush, they have nice outer area heaters. Good vibes

Great place! I got there around 4pm and was seated quickly. The service was great, my server was very friendly and attentive. The food was so good, ordered the Crab fries at the server's suggestion, definitely a good choice. Grouper sandwich was delicious, fully cooked, tender and flavorful! Planning on a day trip in the future just to eat there.

My nephew absolutely loved the Mac and cheese...and it was the Kraft kind from the box! I absolutely loved that they actually listed it as such on the menu and didn't charge $10 for it! I appreciated that so much that when my nephew wanted to go back the next day, I said LET'S GO! Staff both visits was super nice. It's an extremely low key, laid back environment. The fresh catch pretzel was really good! I will pop by again next year if we're in town for the same conference next summer.

Great friendly service! Love the indoor/outdoor seating! The ceviche was great. Grouper sandwiches were good but a little on the thin side. Would have been nice if served with chips And slaw. We liked the Cajun Grouper and the Caribbean season Grouper but Cajun was our favorite.

We liked all the Frenchy’s in Clearwater (we did the Passport Challenge) but this was our favorite. Their menu was a bit more detailed and the food was amazing. We had the crab fries (a must-order) the stuffed avocados (best thing on the menu!), and the mixed veggies. We also ordered some delicious cocktails. Great ambiance and outstanding service by Kim and her manager.

My first time here was absolutely fantastic and the she-crab soup was definitely the best I've ever had. It was so good I came back again a day later. By far the best food I've had in Clearwater. And the service was fantastic too what a great combo right? The oysters were amazing!

Whole menu is awesome, but shout out to the famous Grouper sandwich! Comes a variety of ways, the original is beer battered fried, cheese , tomato on a onion bun. AMAZING!! Frenchy’s won’t disappoint!

The service, the food, and the atmosphere were all really delightful. For my first time having gone here, it was everything I expected, and a little more. The portion sizes however were a bit small, but a decent bang for your buck. Despite being slightly small, it was really full of flavor and our server was extremely polite.

We came into town to watch the sunset and wanted to grab a bite after. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. I couldn't rave enough about their Grouper sandwich. I'll definitely be back to get it again. I highly recommend adding this to your list of stops.

Always love coming here. Such an iconic location, excellent food choices and always the best grouper around. Unfortunately last couple times I’ve been here service at the bar is substandard; such a shame.
