This was my first time at R&K and I was not let down! We came in with a party of 10 on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! We only had to wait like 5 minutes and the got us sat down! The service was the best and the food was AWESOME! This is the best breakfast in Cleburne by far! I will be back!

R&K in Cleburne is an excellent cafe. They have great cafe breakfasts and their lunch is great as well. They have very good hamburgers. The patty is hand formed and they are served sizzling hot from the grill. I most recently had their grilled onion cheeseburger (which was their daily special) and it was amazing. The grilled onions and cheese melted together nicely and made a unique taste. The service here is always great. There is plenty of staff and they all work to make you happy. I have never tried dinner but the menu has steaks and seafood and if it is anywhere near as good as he breakfast and lunch it would be worth checking out.

Overall everything was pretty good, especially the chicken fried steaks! Only downside was the biscuits were very dry but other than that no complaints!

All you can eat catfish Friday. Great service fresh hot food, superb wait staff. Will be back to check out more on the menu. Breakfast served all day.

Staff is always top notch! They take care of you. You definitely won't leave hungry. What's pictured is what was left from my chicken fried steak meal! So much food for a decent price. Yes I took it home 😁

I had the shrimp with garlic butter. It was quite a big portion and it was very delicious. The green beans were nothing to really ride home about but they were good. But the potatoes were very good. And the salad is really good too. He's a good price for this big portion.

For those with covid concerns, no one had masks on...no customers or employees. Our server was friendly and very helpful and took care of us very well with drink refills and clearing our table. Our son recommended the meatloaf so my husband ordered it - I loved it but he didn't like the ketchup on top and raked it off. The green beans were like home grown and cooked by grandma...excellent! I ordered the taco salad and I must say I was somewhat disappointed. The taste of the ingredients was fine but the shell was stale and tasted like it had been cooked in old grease and that sort of ruined it for me. I didn't go hungry though because I got to eat hubby's leftovers! 😁 The other thing that bothered me a lot was the loudness. I felt like I was yelling to be heard and I know my family had to yell to me because I couldn't hear them. Overall, we will go back and try other dishes because the majority of food was good. Would I recommend it? I think so if the things I mentioned don't bother you!

Walked in after a quick search on where to eat in the area for breakfast. This place did not disappoint at all, the food was delicious, well priced and the staff super friendly. The decor was nice, bathrooms clean and the area is nice to walk around. If I’m ever in town again, I’ll try the lunch or dinner.

First time visitors at this lovely restaurant and we were NOT disappointed! We walked in and were seated almost immediately. I noticed that all the waitresses were all very helpful and eager to help all the customers. The menu has something for everyone and the salad bar was very well stocked. I had the special of the day, the chili salmon & shrimp, and it was perfectly cooked! My wife had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing; the country gravy was perfect! We finished off the meal by sharing a slice of the peach pie and it was aaaamazing!!! Any time we are in the area, we will be coming back! Definitely recommend stopping in and trying them out if you never have.

Was there for Sunday breakfast. To beat the rush get in before 9 AM. This place gets crowded because it's that good. The wife and I had the #3 & #4 plates (eggs, buscuits & gravy & bacon) for $6.99 each. Prices are cheap compared to the portions. Friendly and attentative staff, great prices, big portions and good food. What more can you ask?

We were visiting from Houston. Stopped here to meet some family for brunch. There was a little wait to be seated, but once we did, we had a waitres getting our drink order. She then brought us buttered rolls, which are DELICIOUS! i ordered the Spanish Omelet with hash and biscuts and gravy for my sides options. We got the #1 for our toddler, which is 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and a sausage patty. The hubby got French toast with grits on the side. My food was yummy. I enjoyed it all, except the biscuits were hard, too toasty. The #1 the sausage patty was rubbery, and the bacon had a funny taste. Out toddler didn't like it, and I didn't either. Pancakes and eggs were fine though. My husband's French Toast was yum, but the grits were too watery. Overall, good was ok. Service was great, atmosphere good. We will give it another try next time we're in town visiting family again.

Food is warm, not hot when it hits the table. It sometimes sits in the window for 3 or 4 minutes before delivered. Pancake comes out so cool that the butter doesn't even melt. A couple of the wait staff are great, and others gripe all the time out loud about customers, no tips, work hours, etc. Stuff that they should discuss behind doors and not in front of customers. How about Eggs OMW. Over Medium Well. Look at the pic. Not even close. Too over easy for sure. Used be great, not so much now.

Ordered the club sandwich, wanted to try something different, came with fries or onion rings, i chose the onion rings, food was good, the onion rings are gigantic, only problem was that the onin rings were cold.

Old diner in downtown Cleburne. Nothing to complain about but nothing to be excited about either. Hamburger steak was good and served fast.

This is usually an outstanding place to eat. BUT yesterday was definitely an exception. I ordered chicken fried steak with fried okra. 90% of the steak was breading. The okra had no flavor and was undercooked. The breading was mushy and the okra was hard. Our guest got the smothered sausage which was flavorful but only one strip of bell pepper and one strip of onion. Not exactly smothered. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad which was apparently missed by the cook staff and came out after everyone else was half way through the meal. Our waiter never checked to see about our food or water refills. Sorry for the bad review but you need to know what is happening.

I’ve been here a half a dozen times. Everyone has always raved about how great it is, but it doesn’t wow me at all. I don’t get it. It does have a salad bar, which is nice. The catfish is actually my favorite thing there because that is one dish I can say stands out as better than most. I’ve never gotten very good service here, but the other patrons have always been very nice. Overall I give 4 stars because of the catfish. Without the catfish I consider this place average and give 3 stars.

Overall, it was a good experience. Popular place, not enough parking. We enjoyed our meals except for the biscuits. The bottoms were burnt, and the biscuits were dry. Waitress was attentive and funny.

Service was incredible as well as variety on the menu. All the food came out as we asked. And was served hot and fresh. The wait staff was very attentive. Going back soon!

This place was awesome. I love their lunch breakfast combo's. There is food options for pretty much everyone. Can't speak for those with gluten allergies. I ate there twice e for brunch and got the chicken fried steak breakfast both times. Service is great. When you wait for a table that will be the longest wait. If you go, definitely try their biscuits and gravy. It's the way to a chubby dudes heart.

Excellent food came out hot. Excellent service, drink glasses did not go empty. We were there at lunch very busy, but still kept up with things. You will enjoy this one.

I went here for breakfast. The biscuits were fluffy and tasteful. The eggs were cooked the way I like them. I truly enjoyed breakfast here. I know I'll certainly be coming back even though it's not close to my house at all. Service was also outstanding.
