What an amazing experience! Great Lakes Burning River was one of the first micro beers I ever had and it changed me from not being a beer fan to a huge brew fan so I was excited to finally visit the place that got me into beer!! The only thing I have to admit is, the pretzel was the weakest I’ve ever had. The dipping sauces were good but the pretzel itself was dry, dense and just didn’t cut it. A frozen boxed soft pretzel from the grocery store was on par with what we had. Quite disappointing but, the good news is that everything else was FANTASTIC!! Service was great as was the setting! We sat on the patio, it had a great feel to it. Our beers were too notch as were our meals! I’ll be back for sure, hopefully they fix the pretzel before then.

I really enjoy some Great Lakes Beer. The bar feels like it was built long ago in a different era. Built to weather a cold winter in city on the lake. I really like the outdoor seating to take advantage of the nice weather. The food seemed a bit expensive for what it was but the menu had plenty to offer. I'd love to go on a tour soon because the old brick building seems like it has stories to tell.

This was definitely a fun brewery to visit. My husband and stepsons liked their burgers. The Perogis were pretty good but had an onion forward after taste. The only real miss with the meal for me was the Stilton cheese soup. I could see that dish as being one either people really enjoy or don’t like it. We are excited to go back and try more items on their menu.

Enjoyed Sunday brunch with a large selection of food choices on the menu. Our server kept our coffee cups filled and all the food was delicious. We started with the fresh, soft hot pretzels with beer cheese dip. Our entrees were French Toast with bacon and Fish & Chips. Superb!

Great brewery in Ohio City, great stout selections and I had their tasty cheeseboard. Reservations are recommended, it gets packed. Great living atmosphere and good service.

I have been to this establishment a few different times throughout the years. This time the basement bar was a Christmas theme. We just got drinks from the Christmas themed menu. In addition, it shall be noted their beers are all great. I haven't had their food for a long time so I can't comment on that.

We did the brewery tour and then ate at the brewpub after. The tour was well worth the cost especially since it included 4 samples plus a souvenir glass. The food at the brewpub was good. We ordered the patio vibes sampler, which was very good, along with the pretzel, salmon BLT, and mac & cheese.

Food here is top notch. Glad to see some of the menu come back since covid. We were here for pierogi week and had a wonderful time. I just wish they would experiment more with their beer but definitely a great time at Cleveland's original brewery.

We love stopping at new breweries whenever we travel. While in Cleveland we stopped at Great Lakes Brewing Company. Great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and tried a few different beers and the House Lox Bagel. All the beers were excellent and the House Lox Bagel was delicious. Friendly staff, fast service.

Came here during all-star weekend, we had booked a rating and received a great bit of local history and info on the beers. Oberakly, great brewery, selection of beers were all solid. Their 9.5% beer (forgot the name) was far too enjoyable for its percentage.

Really cute brewery with a relaxed atmosphere. 4 stars because the chicken sandwich could have used more sauce and the brat didn’t have a ton of flavor. It was quite pricey, but understandable since they’re located in a buzzing area. The staff was great and gave awesome recommendations! Worth stopping in if you’re nearby.

I have been here many times. The Grandfather of all craft breweries in Ohio . The beer and food service are all great. The bar and the building also make the vist enjoyable

We went for early dinner on a Friday. I got a chicken sandwich which was ok, but the roasted potatoes were delicious. She got a salmon BLT which was ok, but the potato sidewinders were great. The beer was good and the mixed drink was good. When we went to pay, the server had a hand held device with your total amount due. So you can not see your itemized bill before you pay, which seems strange. You can only see your itemized bill if you ask for a paper receipt after you pay.

I had the sausage sampler. It was good, but when I get pierogi, being from CLE, that is not what I was expecting. My husband's fish and chips were good. Beer 👍👍 as always!

We had a wonderful time here on a public tour of the facility. There is a great space pre/post tour to enjoy samples and learn about the brewery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned quite a bit. We were visiting with our 4 month old baby, and the tour was easy to navigate with him in a carrier - a stroller probably would not have worked given the number of steps. We went on a Saturday and bottling production only runs Monday through Friday so we couldn't see that in action. There was a nice video of it, though. Beer making goes on 24/7 so they'll always be something in store for your tour. As a big factory need I was disappointed not to see the bottling lines, but I know that's not the main focus of the tour for most people. :)

A staple Cleveland brewery! Great selection of beers, I ordered a flight so I could try a few new ones. Ordered the salmon BLT and it was excellent. Great service as well. Have been wanting to come here for awhile now and we were happy to finally have the opportunity. Disappointed the brewery tours are only on weekends, we were traveling during the week and would have loved to do a tour!

Excellent service. Get the beer flight - reasonable way to try a ton of great beers and end up being a lot of volume foe your buck. Food was great, really cool multi-level bar, make sure to check out the basement

Great restaurant with fine choice of beers. One of the top micro brewing and beers in Ohio, Cleveland. Food is delicious and service is outstanding. Highly recommended if you are in Ohio, Cleveland. Cheers 🍻

The vibe of this place was excellent and is truly a Cleveland brewery staple. The thing I was most surprised with was how good the food tastes. I expected it to be a brewery with really good beer and maybe average pub food, but the West Side Mac I got was truly delicious!

Great Brewery to visit and have lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere, good selection of beer. Has indoor and outdoor eating as well as bar area. Friendly atmosphere. On street as well as public parking close by($8). Near Westside Market (another must visit venue).

Beer was great. Got a flight and loved the Irish Ale and the Strawberry Pineapple wheat was a terrific surprise. Downstairs vibe was just what we love in a brewery: intimate, old English feel. Bartender was a bit aloof which is a brewery ‘type’; a friendlier barkeep would have made the experience a 5.

👍 March 2022: Stopped here for lunch on a comp from the Jack Casino. They gave me $30 that I used to get the Double melt, tots, vanilla shake, and chili to go. 😠 The best thing about this place is the decor and the gift shop. The food is more salty than a crusty old pirate. The server was great. My drink order was wrong, got a new one. Slow going on all accounts. Hubby couldn't eat his food- hard chicken, freezer burnt shrimp, salty broccoli, yuck! Stroll i...
