The best thing about this place is the decor and the gift shop. The food is more salty than a crusty old pirate. The server was great. My drink order was wrong, got a new one. Slow going on all accounts. Hubby couldn't eat his food- hard chicken, freezer burnt shrimp, salty broccoli, yuck! Stroll in for the giftshop and cruise on down the road for some yummy food. You must ask yourself, " What would Jimmy Buffett do?" He would turn the boat around and find something worth stopping for!

Great food, little pricey but felt considering the location in the flats it was to be expected, staff was awesome and accommodating. Had a great time. AWESOME live music from the YNOT band.

This place looks great for the Christmas season. I would have liked to hear some of Jimmy's Christmas songs.

Stopped in here on a little bar crawl we did a couple weeks ago. The bartender was friendly and attentive and made me a fabulous drink. We didn't eat due to having lunch at a spot proir to stopping there but the menu looked great. I loved all the cool stuff to look at and the bar was a pier with a pontoon boat attached. Super cool. We will definitely be back to try some food and check it out during the summer when the rooftop bar is open.

On a day trip to Cleveland, stopped at this restaurant with my son and partner. I’ve never been to one so I was actually surprised at how decent the food was. We did come on a weekday during lunch and practically nobody was there so it was all to ourselves. Our server was amazing and our son LOVED the beach/tropical themed restaurant.

My husband and I were on a roadtrip to Buffalo, but decided a quick stop in Cleveland for some appetizers to sustain us for the rest of the trio was a good idea. I have never been to Cleveland before, so I really wasn't in the know about local restaurants, but I do wish I did some research prior to picking a chain restaurant. I've been to a few different Margaritaville locations, and they are equally the same in menu offerings, decor and vibe. It's a chain restaurant, so don't expect anything unique. The area that this particular location was in forced us to pay $10 for parking otherwise we could have been circling blocks and walking until we found something. Though I will add that we were passing through town the same day as a baseball game, so the streets may have been more crowded than usual. This Margaritaville location sits in an area that appears to be walker friendly and there are some other restaurants nearby that appeared more local. Perhaps consider those prior to settling on a chain restaurant especially if you have been to a Margaritaville location already. We visited during happy hour, so we expected to be able to enjoy their drink and appetizer specials. Unfortunately, we were told that we had to be seated at the bar to receive happy hour specials....we had already been seated by the hostess at a table a mere 3 feet from the bar. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke dip, Sweet Potato Fries and the Lava Lava Shrimp. Our favorite dish was the shrimp, but I will also add that the fries were cooked perfectly and the dip came with plenty of chips. The shrimp dish comes with around 8-10 shrimps that sit on a bed of lettuce dressed in a sweet chili sauce. Considered all together this meal wasn't anything particularly special. But it did make for a quick pitstop on our roadtrip. We were in and out within an hour. If you are visiting this area, I encourage you to check out some local restaurants before chains, but if you enjoy the island vibe, then look no further to quench your sweet and salty tastebuds.

If you check out my reviews, you'll notice that I have maybe one other negative review. I don't like to do them unless it's truly a bad experience, which this one was. We were sat at a table that wasn't clean. It had little papers and a cherry stem on it. Our menus appeared to be freshly cleaned, but a closer look at the water on them revealed brown in it...not sure what that was. My margarita was more salt than liquor (check out the photo, that's all salt at the bottom). Our chicken egg rolls tasted like they were dunked in brine water (salt again). I ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki...where to start...the shrimp was clearly freezer burnt and chewy. The chicken was rock hard and salty. The broccoli had the same brine wash, too salty to eat. The only good thing was the rice, but I was scared to eat too much of it. The whole meal made you wonder what their kitchen looked like. Oh ya, and we weren't given silverware, we had to take some from an empty table. The server wasn't the best but she was new and helped with the bad food issue, so she still deserves a gold star. Lastly, my wife ordered a frozen drink and was brought some weird drink that was not frozen. We're still wondering what that issue was. Jimmy would have turned his boat around at this place. I've never been to one of these, and never plan to return.

Drinks are spectacular, food is pretty good, and the atmosphere is amazing if you love the beach vibe. But that quality and atmosphere come at a higher price per drink, and a bit on the smaller side too. But all in all, a really awesome place for relaxing on a weekend with friends afterhours. Parking can be tough if you get there after 9 pm so plan accordingly. Would definitely go there on a casual special occasion to enjoy a good drink with special people.

Was a lovely day outside and the view from the upstairs patio was amazing. Food was decent, when I did have a problem it was solved but they didn't go out their way to compensate from hair being in my food. Probably will stick to just drinks next time.

Decent food cooked well, it's more traditional and that's okay. Tables were clean, staff was nice. Bathrooms were pretty dirty. Drinks were average for the flats nothing special. Overall it was okay.

Go for the margaritas, not the food. Food is overpriced and not that great. Frozen margarita is amazing! We got a table, but I think next time I’d prefer to just hang around/ order at the bar. Not a place to stay for a long time, but nice to grab margarita (or two). Also - decor is fun, but WAY too over lit in there. Too overstimulating for me.

This place is decorated amazing, great atmosphere! We went for lunch, and the staff was very funny and kind, and the speed of service was quick. Food came out pretty fast and tasted great. I will also add it was almost COMPLETELY empty while we were there, which was surprising but nice

Nice, fun place in our flats. Slightly on the expensive side but has a lot of seating options. I felt our drinks could have been better/stronger.

Unfortunately I was slightly unimpressed with Margaritaville. The atmosphere was fun. Food was ok. My drinks were delicious but the biggest let down was there was no Jimmy Buffet music playing!!!!

Our first trip to Margaritaville in Cleveland will definitely be our last. My friend, daughter and I went to to the rooftop bar to get drinks and appetizer. Two bartenders up there and maybe a dozen customers at most. One server clearly didn't even want to answer my question or even offer us a menu. The other bartender was at least pleasant, but forgot our waters that we asked for (to go with our adult beverages), left our fried pickles languishing in the kitchen for who knows how long (they were barely warm when we finally got them - 35 minutes for food?!), no napkins or plates either. Took forever to get the check and cashed out. Horrible beyond words and going to Goodnight John Boy and then Collision Bend Brewing right after we left Margaritaville only emphasized just how poor their service really was. STAY AWAY from Margaritaville unless/until they drastically improve their service. Massively disappointing all the way around.

I came here after the Browns vs. Bengals game on September 10th, and let me say we were very disappointed. It was not that good. The food was not the best; we were expecting it to be good, but it wasn't. The fries tasted almost reheated and were way too salty, like they almost dehydrated me after a few fries. The margaritas were not what we were expecting; they were very mediocre and, overall, not good. The fish tacos were very off and funky-tasting. The "Cheeseburger in Paradise" was awful tasting; the meat was almost burnt, it seemed, and was very disappointing. But overall, the atmosphere was not that bad, but we want to give it another try, and hopefully it'll be much, much better, and the Bengals will curb stomp the Browns like they should. But I did not feel like I was wasting away in Margaritaville. WHO DEY!

A friend and myself specifically chose to go to Margaritaville on Monday for lunch following the BROWNS Win to honor one of our favorite singers Jimmy Buffett. RIP 🦜We both are also in the restaurant business. We were completely and utterly appalled!!! I have never written a review for a restaurant in my life. But this was necessary. Upon arrival, there was no employee anywhere. When the gentleman finally approached, we politely asked if we could sit outside. And he said “well whatever you want” in a snarky kind of way. It was as if we were bothering him and annoying him. That set the tone. There was maybe seven people in the entire restaurant eating… So by no means were they at all busy or overwhelmed. When the server FINALLY got to our table, She was just as rude and uncaring as the man who sat us. You do realize you are a restaurant??? And we are coming to YOUR house to eat. Would you treat your guests like that if they came to your own home?.. I don’t think so. My friend asked for her salad to be brought out before her meal…. Which never happened until I had to go track somebody down in the restaurant which took about five minutes. When she finally brought the salad WITH our meal, she said in a sarcastic kind of way, I don’t know why the salad wasn’t brought out… Are you kidding me. You’re the one we told!! Obviously she wasn’t listening and again, I don’t even know why she showed up for work. Because it was clearly evident that was the last place she wanted to be. A piece of advice, if you don’t want to work in that industry… Don’t work in that industry! There was no silverware or salt and pepper when our food finally came out. And before we could say anything she walked away. So once again I have to go track her down. I again could not find anybody in the restaurant. I also asked for mayo on the side for my sandwich. Once again, had to get up and go track somebody down. Once again feeling like I am completely bothering them while they are getting paid to do nothing. The fries were completely cold… How can they be cold when nobody was in the restaurant eating… But maybe a handful. Ridiculous. He did bring out hot fries and didn’t take the cold ones… So it looked like I had a mountain full of fries that I was never even going to eat at this point. My friend maybe had two bites of her fish tacos… That were burnt and disgusting. And again let me remind you we are in the restaurant business. When the server came to give us our checks, she never asked why we barely touched our food. Because she didn’t care!!!! It’s sad that those two employees put such a negative vibe to our plans for the day. And I think it’s a complete insult to Jimmy Buffett. I would rate the whole experience a zero. Zero customer service, zero Self-awareness on how to run a restaurant, mediocre food preparation and presentation, and zero employee culture… Especially in a place that should be fun, upbeat and happy. To me, it starts with management… So if this was our brief little experience… I can’t imagine what it’s like on a busy or popular weekend. McDonald’s and Taco Bell’s employees are 50 times better than what we experienced. I’m sorry for the review. But as I said earlier… It was necessary!
