I decided to get lunch from this location. My order was placed via online. When I arrived I parked the lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready and I left. I ordered the shrimp bowl and it was good. It was very filling! All in all I had a good experience!

Really had great experience here. I loved loaded nachos. parmesen chicken is must try.

I experience good customer service when I visit the establishment; the employees are kind and work together well especially as the employee for my table seems to already be busy (and getting busier). Even so, I order the Impossible Burger meal which is decent though on the dry side. I feel like more salad ingredients on a burger can help make a burger juicier. I don’t really eat food from out of a frying situation though the fries are tasty. I feel like having a salad option as an alternative to fries is always good. The establishment accepts different forms of payment. The environment feels noticeably airy which I kind of like.

Love the oriental chicken salad! Today we had our waitress, Ariana, and she was fantastic! Was here September 24th decided to try the cheeseburger. I asked for no onion no lettuce no tomato just a plain burger and it came out plain, but it tasted like it was soaked in onion juice. If I didn't want onions on the burger why would I want onion taste on the burger? It gave me almost instant heartburn, had to go home and pop some Tums. Next time I'll stick with my favorite Oriental salad.

The wait staff person was very nice. However, the table we were given (outdoors) had not been wiped down at all. We had to request that she wipe it for us even tho we understood that was another staff person's job. But it needed to be wiped. The food was good and we had a great time.

Came here just for dessert. We ordered two lava cakes, and in the picture attached, is how the server brought them to us. The girl that served us was nice and polite, but certainly not attentive. We waited approximately 10 min before someone even came over to the table, and this was at 930, so its not like it was dinner rush. It was nice to have the option to pay online with the QR code on the table, definitely eliminated extra minutes waiting on someone to come back to the table. We like applebees, but definitely was not a pleasant experience, this time.

Applebees was pretty good. Our waiter was very attentive, constantly asking if we needed anything. My bacon cheeseburger was great! The fries are shoestring and were super hot out of the fryer! They also had the skin on them, could a been fresh cut! The spinach artichoke dip was good but the chips were kinda stale. The atmosphere is awesome, staff is great. Plenty of TVs to watch sports! I’ll be back!

My waitress was good, no issues with her. But I overheard that they were out of tables so I decided to wait for my bill by the register. When I told the waitresses that were standing at the register chatting that I was just waiting to pay my bill, the one that was busy talking about how "unique her name was" rudely told me that I could "wait at my table" with the only attitude. She's lucky I didn't call over the manager. I'm also ready to call corporate.

If you want to be serve my some immature, go to this place. It is suppose to be first come first serve. I was there with a party of 4 and a family of 3 walk in behind us ,the server look straight at us and call the other family. I explain to her that I was there first and she told me I have to wait.(She has burgundy hair ).She didn't try to find out who was there first and the low life people behind us didn't even take the time to tell her that we was there first. Them they stay BLM..I would never have done something like that. Bye to that place and my hard working money that pay their salary. That's why I cook at home most times. Period.

Delicious food, great costumer service definitely coming back to this location.

Great place to come for a date with friends, love, and family. Choice of bar, booth, or table, it never disappoints.

Service was ok, no salt or pepper on table. When drink was served I asked for a napkin, received brown PAPER TOWEL. Meal was ok, ordered chicken with shrimp, it was very bland. Will give it 5 stars for cleanest.

After receiving our delivery, I contacted the manager to let her know that I was not asking for a refund or a discount, I just wanted to let her know that our meals were inedible because of the excessive amount of salt. All she could say was "We don't add any seasoning". I'm not sure where the salt came from then, but in addition to the fact that the food was awful, the manager's way of handling my constructive criticism in hopes of Applebee's improving their service, was absolutely apalling. We will never order from Applebee's in Clifton again. I only hope one day they do a better job in selecting their managers.

We had Pemba as our server and as someone who works in the restaurant business day in and out I have never been more disappointed. Her first approach included no introduction and no welcome. The water we initially asked for was never given to us after 1.5hrs of being there. Drinks took about 20min to arrive after order. Our server was absolutely no where to be found. We had to ask another server to bring her over just for her to tell us the bar was closed. Aka no last call was given and no responsibility was taken for not giving us the last call. We asked for the bill to split because that was what we felt that was the least she could do and we didnt even get that. Terrible service and I really hope this review is taken as honest and contructive because we all need to start somewhere but I would be embarrassed to be percieved in this light.

I went to this location with my family and I. We didn't have immense expectations from an Applebee's but this was distinctly awful. For starters the drinkers were complete trash and quite clearly water down. Our entrees and appetizers were all cold. Our ginger ale and Sprite tasted like sparkling water. Literally nothing was good. This would have been 1 star if our waitress wasn't great.

Walked in and sat at bar area, Bernard was our server & he was excellent! I mixed flavors for my wings… honey pepper and buffalo ! So good !!! Also had a chocolate dessert! Everything was really good .

Very upset that, we waited approximately 45 mins for our food, approximately 30 mins for entries and the cheese sticks were COLD! on top of that my chicken Alfredo pasta was very dried, everything chicken and broccoli tastes like water…. Also my friends plate we asked for mash potatoes instead of French fries and still got fried and waited 20 mins for our mash potatoes…. We didn’t enjoy the food so as for to go plates, got two plates but no bag at ALL!! ask for the bag and the lady never return with it ! I’m very upset

All I can say is 2for$25! I saw the commercial in the morning my wife who really isn't a fan of Applebee's said the hell with it let's go try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The food arrived in a timely manner HOT full of flavor the drinks were flavorful and not watered down and our server Douglas constantly checked on us. Our bill was less than $42. We left a very good tip for him, keep up the great work guys 👏

It’s a must-have!!

First time at this particular Apple Bee's in Clifton. Although the food I had was decent. The one quality that stood out for is our server (Ariana) . Her initial encounter with me and my friend was soooooo abnormally friendly and inviting. Ariana went above and beyond to try to satisfy our requests. She was just a fresh breath of air . She even told me and my friend we made her with our positive and silly energy. I would only come to eat at this Applebee's when she is on duty

Had all u can eat $14.99. RIBLETS were fatty over sauced. Ok. Asked to try chicken next was brought 4 chicken nuggets on plate and was told if I wanted fries or coleslaw have to get my server. My server was no where to be found. Myself and guest could have easily walked out without paying check since no one came near my credit card on table. Left cash for check with tip deserved on table! Too much good competition to EVER GO BACK. I WILL BE SURE TO TELL FRIENDS!

Valeria was out server. Not only was she very informative about out wait for food, but she was extremely pleasant and super sweet and attentive. Her service was phenomenal and she’s such a sweetheart. Thank you so much for your service tonight girl, you made it such a wonderful stay. 😊

Service was exceptional. Once seated, server attended to us quickly and was very friendly. Food was delicious and came out in record time lol

Food was good, our waiter (Joseph) was excellent (probably the best one there). Meal was brought in a timely manner. The only issue I had was that when we arrived we were seated and maybe 10 minutes passed by and not one waiter came to get our order, so that’s when we caught Joseph’s attention (he wasn’t assigned to our area) and he gladly helped us and was very attentive the whole time we were there. The rest of the staff on the floor were chitchatting and not being helpful 👎🏻

So the food is always great. But the service this time was sad at best. The waiter was in an I Don't Care attitude. We are ministers and always try to make the best of situations. We tried to make her smile, and she was just there. As if she didn't want to work. Everyone has their issues, yes. But you work with the public. The food came out with another person who mixed our food. That's OK. We told him they were mixed. He lifted them, apologized, and placed them down the wrong way again. I thanked him, and as he walked away, I simply fixed it. My drink came wrong, but that at the least was changed. I also asked for water 3 times before getting it. The reason I'm being detailed is to hopefully bring awareness. I understand people have off days. But say so. Don't work with the public when you can't change your attitude. In the end, I hope people are educated and trained better.

Food was great, great price and tasty, just took way longer then it needed for us to get out. We sat longer then needed to get our check and then money back. Other than that food was good. Just need service to be a little quicker. She was very nice but felt she was helping other servers and we got stuck waiting way to long. A hour meal turned into 2 hours

It was cozy in there. The food was fine. However, it was my daughter's birthday on New Year Day and they don't sing for people, which is very disappointing. Also, under our table was full of bags and a few fries next to the table on the floor, which means they didn't clean up properly before seating us.

If it wasn't for the fact that it took literally 30 minutes for us to be seen by a waiter, while they were just standing around in the front talking. I would give 5 Stars! Great food, but horrible service. Too bad there isn't a 2.5 star, cuz that is the mathematical half...

I have visited this particular location many times and until now I am taking the time to leave a review. All because Gabriel the waiter that waited our table on 05/17 @7 pm was amazing! He was professional, attentive, friendly and just really nice. My party and I were just expressing how GREAT he is. I think he might be new, never seen him before. Because of employees like him is why I’ll keep returning. I will sure be asking for GABRIEL next time.

I had the chicken tortilla soup, chicken tacos and a shrimp bowl. Everything was delicious! Chicken taco appetizer was incredible. Squeeze the lime on it! So good!

The time for dinning was perfect-not many customers. However the service lacked with our waiter. On the bright side the food was out in a timely manner, but in terms of any refills, paying of the bill or anything that was asked to our waiter..unfortunately that was a wait of at least 15 minutes.

There was social distancing. No waiting inside. They send you text when table is ready. The food was good. Our server Jose Luis was great as well

Visited the restaurant during late night happy hour on a Saturday. The place was packed but we found seating at the bar. The bar staff was very friendly (Luis and a female bartender were great!) and quick. We ordered apps and drinks and got everything within a reasonable time. Food came out hot and drinks were good. I'd visit this location again for sure.

Applebee's is MY Favorite restaurant. This one especially. It's my all time celebrating spot. I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience. I have a girlfriend who's 94 & known for enjoying the Perfect Margarita with Patron. It's become our favorite restaurant😄😄😄😄😄

Applebee’s at Clifton NJ used to be our favorite place to meet with family . However, unfortunately the quality of higiene has changed it’s disgusting . This is a triple chocolate meltdown in a dirty plate with finger prints and a vegetable inside the ice cream. Our family night was gone.

Pasta was watery like a literal velveeta box-made Mac n cheese. On top of that the noodles weren’t even al dente. Server was very minimal as to asking us how’s the food, making sure we needed anything, or even just attempting to make any kind of conversation. I usually always come to this one. Have been for years but this by far was the WORST time.
