I used to love this place, coming every weekend for their amazing eggs Benedict , but unfortunately they changed their recipe, menu and increased the price. Very sad! But still the coffee and the staff are amazing. Please bring the old recipies back!!!

Excellent breakfast place. Everyone will find something for themselves. My children were happy with the meals that they have. Prices are just right. Highly recommended

Called in there for the first time this morning and will definitely be back! The coffee was lovely and Croissant Benedict was to die for. Very friendly and professional staff, great music and fantastic atmosphere. The place is clean and tastefully decorated. Can’t wait to go there for breakfast again!

The kindest staff and best food in Ireland. They can make eggs and bacon! Real crispy bacon and real scrambled eggs that are not the consistency of regurgitated oatmeal! These guys saved my vacation! 🙌 The rest of Europe needs to come and worship at the feet of these culinary Gods! Brackfast should not be boiled!

Nice little place food was amazing I bought a brunch bap and my partner got the same, HOWEVER when we paid and left the establishment, we realized we never received out potato cubes which was supposed to accompany our baps which is a kick in the nuts because for the price we paid for two breakfast sandwiches was over €20, and if I'm paying that much I want my complete order, I will be going into the East Village Coffee shop sooner rather than later an ask them what happened to half my order, other than that I was a really nice place

East Village Coffee is amazing and somewhere I've been going for a couple of years. Between the food and coffee I am never ever disappointed here. Great prices for the quality you receive and a popular choice between my friends and I.

I have visited East Village at the tower cafe a number of times. My last visit was on 6/9/2022. I am a coeliac so I asked for gluten free toast with my eggs and bacon. I only realised when I got home and looked at my receipt that I was charged an extra €2 for the gf toast which I feel is way over the top. This wasn't mentioned to me when I was ordering as I would have queried it. I contacted via the online form but got no reply.

First visit, loved it . .great coffee. Was there for breakfast and had the Avocado 🥑 Toast. Faultless. Good menu choices, good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Definitely recommend a visit and will be back!

Proper pancakes bacon and maple coffee was miles ahead of any I've had in the area. Staff seemed to love there Job especially the chap who sang every tune that came on the cafes playlist.

East Village Coffee is a little bit of Australia’s Byron Bay right in the heart of Clondalkin 🤙🏼

Tasty breakfast and nice coffee, great addition to Clondalkin village. This is located at the old unhappy pear site beside the round tower. Offers breakfast and lunch options. Had the Avo toast on sourdough with bacon over two visits. The first version was better than the second, but still good. It would be great for some consistency in the offering, whipped feta was not whipped, quantity of guacamole differed and slices of bread same. Usual issues with using a standard knife on sourdough but you get that everywhere, ran the risk of launching my breakfast across the room whilst trying to cut through the crust. Staff friendly, has an outdoor section and a separate smaller section for a quick coffee and the site caters well for wheelchairs. Give it a try.

Used to be my favourite cafe. Coffee is still good but food has gone so sharply downhill.was there about 2 weeks ago and the service was just so poor had to ask twice for menus (was not busy at all) staff were just chatting.A family of four walked out before being served. Even when we asked for water we were told there's a tap at the counter we can get it ourselves and get our own drinks from the fridge. Such a shame really loved this place for so long.

Have to echo a recent review that I feel like it has gone downhill. Have been here many times over the years since it opened, hadn’t been in a while as I don’t live in the area anymore. Went for breakfast and coffee a few weeks ago and the service was terrible and food wasn’t great. There was multiple staff working and hardly any other customers. We sat on a table which had the previous customer’s uncleared plates/cups. I went up to get menus as no one brought them. It took ages for the table to be cleared. And then I had to ask for it to be cleaned. We ordered 3 coffees, only two arrived. I asked about the 3rd one, was told it’s coming. A while later, it still hadn’t arrived, I had to go up to the counter and ask again. I’d understand if the café was busy but it was the opposite. I’d say that only one of the three breakfast dishes was good. The eggs were over cooked.

Cant comment on the food: we visited East Village Monastery for a late lunch only to be told by a member of staff that they couldn't serve us as their "system was down and there was nothing they could do". Mmmmm. Edit: at no point a cash payment option was mentioned in the conversation. We were simply told to leave with a vague promise of free drinks, should we decide to come back another day.

👍👍 Went for a meal at Joel’s this afternoon. Absolutely fantastic service even though the place was packed. Food was sublime. I ordered the chefs special for the starters and main, today it was muscles in a coconut cream and chili sauce, and shrimp stir fried egg noodles. Desert was also fantastic and...
