The hotel is centrally located in Coburg. The rooms are modern furnished and mine was very quiet indeed, and could be darkened well. They were also clean. I especially enjoyed the food; breakfast buffet has a good high quality selection, with eggs prepared to order. They also have espresso options on order. Apparently, the place is also dog friendly.

Needs update specially in the bathroom… the hotel lobby is ok, parking place is very small and during my stay they offer breakfast box, I didn’t like…

Wir haben zwei Nächte hier verbracht. Die Lage ist für einen Besuch von Coburg sehr günstig: 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof, 2 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, sauber und es fehlt an nichts. In der Zimmerbar gab es 5 kostenlose Getränke. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier wohnen.

Friendly staff. Large clean rooms. Huge breakfast spread. It is an old hotel with an eclectic mish mash of styles but very comfortable. It is an easy walk from the front door to the main market square.

Top Lage, sehr schöner Frühstücksraum, prima Frühstück und 1a Kaffee! Leider Entsprechen Service und Sauberkeit nicht einem 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Zimmer war klein und in Ermanglung einer Klimaanlage schon fast ein Saunaersatz.

Sehr gutes Hotel und Zimmer sind auch in Ordnung und sauber. Allerdings fehlt Klimaanlage, da man bei mehr als 26 Grad trotz offenen Fenster nicht schlafen kann. Ging nicht nur mir so… Frühstück ausreichend und alles vorhanden 😎

Kalt und ohne Charme. Nicht zu vergleichen mit dem vormaligen Romantik-Hotel. Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Kein Restaurantbetrieb. Preis-Leistung fragwürdig. Profitiert nur von der Lage.

Der Charme ist wieder zurück. Wir sind sehr froh uns wieder für dieses Hotel entschieden zu haben. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker nebst Lachs verschiedene Käsesorten Eier und Sekt und vieles mehr. Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Einzelzimmer und der Ventilator hat uns schon gut über die Nacht geholfen. Schön, das die Seele des Hauses uns begrüßen konnte wir hatten uns sehr gefreut! Sehr gerne wieder kommendes Jahr SAMBA, nett fanden wir im Foyer den Getränkespender und auch die Leckereien.

Gute Adresse in Coburg, schöne Zimmer, die Getränke in der Minibar waren im zimmerpreis enthalten!! Super Service, freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück mit Lachs und Sekt. Alles war prima, mir hat nur ein 2. Kopfkissen im Bett gefehlt was ich aber sicher auf Anfrage bekommen hätte. Wir übernachten hier sicher bei unserem nächsten Coburg-Besuch wieder.

Ein nettes kleines Zimmer hatten wir. Da wir nur eine Nacht waren kann ich sehr viel sagen. Unser Bett war sehr bequem, augenscheinlich war auch alles sauber. Es gab sogar ein paar Getränke im Kühlschrank aufs Haus. Was mir leider überhaupt nicht gefiel war die Dusche. Da muss dringend die Armatur und Schlauch getauscht werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr ausreichend und Lecker. Nur auf den Kaffee musste man eine Weile warten. Alles im allen würde ich da wieder Buchen.

Das Hotel hat ein außergewöhnliches Flair. Sehr nah am Zentrum der historischen Stadt ist es ideal gelegen, um Coburg zu Fuß zu erleben. Besonders gefallen hat uns das grandiose Frühstück und der Wellness-Bereich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht die Mängel alter Zimmer und eines verbesserungswürdigen Housekeeping-Dienstleisters auszugleichen. Sehr gut hat uns das nahegelegene Parkhaus mit moderaten Preisen und großen Stellplätzen gefallen.

I have stayed at this hotel twice on business and it is the most satisfying hotel in Germany. The view from the top floor windows is fantastic. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent, as well as the quality of the breakfast. Most importantly, the refrigerator and free minibar are a big help for me. If you are staying in Coburg, this is the hotel to choose❗️

Nice hotel, friendly staff. A lot of stairs, so keep that in mind if you have any disabilities. No AC unfortunately. Great location though, right near the downtown.

A lovely hotel, moments from the town square. I came to see an Avantasia concert and booked because of closeness. I was pleasantly surprised by free mini bar and a room that was quiet, dark and clean. The shower was a good one. I would stay again.

We stayed at the expensive suite with two kids and two small dogs, lots of room. Even had bowl and treats for the dogs. Super friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing! Public parking garage less 100 meters, very cheap on weekends. XC90 fit with no problems. The hotel is central walking anywhere from 5 min to 30 to the Veste Coburg.

It was a great pleasure to once again spend time at the lovely Hotel Goldene Traube. As usual, the staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms immaculate and the food delicious. The location is perfect for exploring Coburg, for everything is within walking distance. We are already planning a return visit for next year!

Good welcome, indoor parking close to the hotel and cheap. I am not going to remember the hotel for breakfast quality, but the area was clean and comfortable. Good camera and a plus to the bathroom, modern and bigger than others same category.

This is a lovely place, very well positionned right at the center just a minutes away from bars and shops. The staff is nice and speak good English. Inside is a really cosy sauna place for free, the rooms are fine and offer free minibar. Be careful though there are some drawbacks. The gym is just a tiny not ventilated room with maximum capacity of two people (more could fit but will struggle to breathe). Parking space is very limitted, so they send you to pay for a nearby city carpark (this should be really included in the room price). Also they have pieriodical internet connection issues and are helpless in that case (they don"t know how to call provider!), so if you want to work in the evening you might be badly surprised, again for such a class of a hotel it is really big poor service.

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff are really friendly and the manager is very nice and so helpful, the rooms are really comfortable, would definitely come again.
