Some of the best things to do in Fort Kochi are heading out on a sunset cruise to capture the sights of the Kochi's backwaters as well as the dolphins. You should also make sure that you experience the famous Kathakali Performance which is considered to be one of the most important pillar of the culture of Kerala. Fort Kochi has played an important role in the history of Kerala. Fort Kochi also has several attractions like the Santa Cruz Basilica. Fort Kochi also houses many historical monuments such as the St. Francis Church, the first church of Vasco da Gama, the Dutch Seminary, the China Vela and many others.

Best Place to visit in fort Kochi but the beach is not clean. For Shopping best Place for tourists. India's biggest Christmas or New Celebration point is Cochin. So Many people are plan for visit this place in year end for more enjoyment. On 31st December every year this point protected by kerla police. Due to Traffic after 2pm big transport stop to enter at fort even entry also stop after 6pm. So if you crazy for 31st night enjoyment reach there before 6pm other wise you can enjoy at beach only. So many things are available for enjoyment at that time. Must visit

It's my first time experience in Fort kochi. It was amazing. We used to travel Jangar ( boat) only has 3 rupees per person and 10 rupees for two wheeler with 2 people. In Fort kochi.. dresses are so expensive.

Scenic View of Beach from here. You can see many big Navy and coast guard ships from this view. Beach near the shore is little bit dirty.

Kochi View Point is a popular tourist destination in Kochi, India. It offers stunning panoramic views of the city, the Arabian Sea, and the surrounding backwaters. There is a small parking lot and few souvenir shops and restaurants nearby. The views from Kochi View Point are simply amazing. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the horizon. You can witness large ships moving in and out of docking yard. The hotels around kochi fort is cheap and affordable. The beauty of view can be witnessed at evenings and early morning If you are looking for a place to take in the beauty of Kochi, then Kochi View Point is definitely worth a visit.

Best place to hang around in the evenings. A walkway is available for people to walk by the beach view. Very clean and neatly maintained. Suitable for morning walks and jogging. Benches are available for seating with sea view. Shops are also available to buy ice cream and other snacks. Lot of foreigners come to this area as it is very famous.

Gorgeous spot to view the sunset and the waves crashing on to the harbor. This beach has a lovely walking trail that you can follow with countless hawkers and waterfront food stalls to take stops and refresh. Great spot for taking insta worthy pictures and videos. If you’re in Fort Kochi don’t miss walking all the way here from the Chinese Fishing nets side. You will get a snapshot of the life in this island. It’s crowded in the evenings and more on the weekend so go early morning if u want to avoid the crowds

A lovely place, nothing wrong with it....it's the garbage that has been strewn all over the place by irresponsible local tourists and vendors. I wish good sense prevails and fines are imposed for litter strictly.

It was really nice to spent a beautiful evening with my friends. The place was really crowded but there no amenities for the public like urinals, free water point etc.. Afterall the beach and its surroundings are messed up with garbage. If the government consider the above fort kochi will be a gem.

A very beautiful Fort Kochi beach is located on the western coast of India and is often known as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. It's a serene beach that offers a scenic view and natural beauty to its visitors. With its pristine water and tranquil ambience, it is extremely admired by tourists and local people as well. Whether you are alone or with your loved ones, this beach offers a soothing atmosphere to relax and chill out. The main attraction of this beach is the historic fort, which is the perfect example of the European architecture and the annual Kochi Festival that takes place every year on the white sands of the Fort Kochi Beach.

A unique beach, unlike other beaches, has its own beauty. You can enjoy walking through the sidewalk; benches are there for sitting at intervals. Weekends are usually crowded. Chinese fishing nets, street food, and shops are there for a little shopping and refreshing hunger. I will not say must-visit places, but if you are in and around Fort Kochi, give it a try.

Nice place to chill out for one day. We get a good vibe and relaxation when we are on the beach side. Water transportation, In and out going of vessels and street vendors are an addition to the place.

Lots of shops are available for snacks tea and coffee. If you are a malayali, you will get reminded of many Malayalam movie scenes which was shoot around this location. Good location to spend time.

Oh my gosh! I really loved the place. The beach view and the shops on the street made me feel so happy and peaceful. There are so many shops along the beach where you can explore and have a great time. You can also sit and relax there for a while.

Wow . Nice place for an evening walk ❀ A charming seaside area, Fort Kochi is known for its Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial architecture, and elaborate bamboo fishing nets at Fort Kochi Beach. St. Francis Church was the original burial site of explorer Vasco da Gama.

Beautiful place for hanging around with family. Wide walkway and tree shades and breeze.carry an umbrella always as no shelter on walkway. There's a paid toilet about 5 minutes walking distance. Fresh fish is sold here. You cannot step into water as the beach is dirty after the tsunami.

This was a great place to visit first thing in the morning with no one around and it is very peaceful and It was even better later in the day as there was so much going on. Although there were a few tourists and stalls with tacky gifts, it still felt quite genuine. The fish market, Chinese nets and walking path made for a vibrant and interesting time.
