One of the few decent eatery in coimbatore 100 Feet road opposite to EB. Parking is adequate for two wheeler and four wheeler even though dedicated parking place is not available. The food is good and decent even though the price is bit on higher side. The service was very quick. Overall a good place for bachelors.

I visited this shop after 20 years. The place is great. Authentic taste. I could meet Saravanan who was a small boy, he is still there. I remember when I started my career at coimbatore, Aachi and RG was there, they selflessly ran this mess. Giving food to many working people..God bless.

One thing that I loved about this mess is all the variety of foods are in the same price. They have varieties like veg biryani, Mink, lemon, tomato, curd, potato fried, Pepper water, sambar rice and some other rice, the best part is all of them are 50Rs irrespective of the variety. They will give you two types of vegetables, and some papads, and sabji for all the variety of food. Furthermore, they also have full meals (Not tried yet). Some side dish like Pagodas, Paruppu Vada, Kesari, Curd Vada, Halwa. Price list of Foods: - All variety rice = Rs.50 - Full meals = Rs.100 - Side-dish = Rs.15 or 20 The mess is self-service, just pay and get the token and get the food in the food counter. They also have take away.

If you want to eat full meals never try this hotel.No sweet only one poriyal and one kootu No payasam.food itself dry and not cooked well.don't try full meals in this hotel it's a waste of money and time.

Good place if you're looking for simple lunch btw your work or studies. They have a wide range of variety rice menu. I had carrot rice. Main reason I choose to try this place is because they give a poriyal and peas along with the variety rice compared to most other places where they serve large qty of rice alone. Spice levels are normal and taste is good for the money.

Had a late lunch. The menu is limited to Variety Rice and Parota. Ordered a Parota set, since we were late. The parota was over and ended up having curd rice. It's served with 2 poriyal, puli kozhambu and a side of fried vadagam. It's value for money and taste wise it's a 5/5. The pineapple kesari was delicious with the right amount of sweetness and some pineapple chunks.

Meals quality & taste came down after covid'19. Variety meals is ok. But the quantity is very less compare to price Rs.50/- either they will give more quantity of variety rice for a plate or they reduce the price and provide half plate variety rice. Because for a single person 1 plate rice is not enough and 2 plate is too much. If they provide half plate, customers can take 1 and 1/2 Plate rice which is more than enough.

Very much disappointed. Unusually, mess was less crowded. After trying the food, we found the reason for that. Nothing tasty - not even at par with Street cart vendor. Pricing is very very high. In fact we suspected there was a billing error or something. The family next to me at the cash counter yelled the as Just "three times" than normal. Crazy.
