We
came
to
Rodenkirchen
on
November
12th,
2021
for
a
stroll
through
the
city.
We
really
liked
what
we
saw
of
Rodenkirchen.
The
“Sommerhof”
shopping
arcade
is
located
in
a
modern
building
complex,
directly
on
the
main
street
in
Rodenkirchen.
It
was
our
first
time
in
Rodenkirchen
and
we
really
liked
the
many
small
shops.
Now
we
also
wanted
to
visit
the
super
modern
“Sommerhof”
shopping
center.
I
don't
have
the
words
to
describe
how
disappointed
we
were
to
find
next
to
nothing
in
the
way
of
shops
in
the
basement.
It
was
deserted
here.
We
were
all
alone
in
this
shopping
arcade.
The
beautiful
shopping
world
of
Rodenkirchen
is
located
around
Maternus
Platz
and
the
surrounding
streets,
but
not
here...life
is
pulsating
out
there,
from
Rodenkirchen...
The
large
fashion
store
in
the
Sommerhof
Passage
is
great.
The
furniture
store
also
made
a
good
impression
in
terms
of
appearance...a
travel
agency
and
the
notice
that
there
was
a
restaurant,
that's
all
we
saw
here...then
we
were
out
of
the
passage
back
in
the
fresh
air
.
We
wanted
to
take
the
modern
escalator
up
when
we
saw
that
the
ceiling
paneling
on
the
upper
floor
had
been
removed.
We
thought
there
might
be
a
construction
site
on
the
upper
floor
and
didn't
go
upstairs.
For
such
a
super
modern
building,
we
would
have
liked
something
better
for
a
shopping
arcade.
It's
a
shame
that
we
couldn't
say
anything
better
about
such
a
modern
building.
But
the
entire
structure
looks
overwhelming
in
terms
of
appearance.
