1 - one of us was Muslim therefore cannot eat pig. He ordered an Hamburger where no pig was mentioned in the ingridients and received an Hamburger with bacon. It was long apologized and replacement for the burger was offered with one without bacon. Though, i have to say it was quite a big inconvenience but everybody is human. 2 - The waiter said that 2 side dishes were included in the price of the burger when ordering it. Not true, nothing is included with the Burger (16,5€). Unfortunately it was revealed just when paying the bill. This Time all we heard was "Sorry, the waiter is still learning". We didnt want to argue because tired from a long day but i am sorry, i Don't Care if he is learning or not and i accept the mistake but i shouldnt be the one paying the consequences of it.

food was amazing. large portions, good quality of meat, fresh herbs, nicely cooked burger. i had jeisskis burger and my spoise had texas bbq burger. so far, one of greateat burgers we have ever had. also the reataurant does not smell like bbq smoke, or trans oils, very fresh. waitress helped me to select a good quality of tap beer (crew republic). prices are optimal. for two burgers we paid around 33euros. nice place, worth to visit in Koln!

Was offered a Kölsch in the first five seconds. After 2 minutes, Kölsch was served and I was promised the menu. Half an hour later: no menu. No more drink. Only two other tables were served during that time. Had to go inside to pay the Kölsch and left.

Only giving this a 3 star cause we didn’t try the actual food. Went to try the cheesecake and they ran out so we got the crumble. Tasted horrible. Hard to finish kind of horrible. Got sat at the high table when most of the restaurant was empty. Staff were great. This experience is just on the dessert.

Great staff who recommended a brilliant and delicious special, tomahawk pork chop, which genuinely was the best pork I've ever had. Great atmosphere and charismatic staff who care about what they do. Fully recommend, and if we're ever back in Köln we're definitely coming back.

After a long day we decided to have a meal at the restaurant in our hotel. What an amazing meal we had. The burgers were huge and delicious. Staff friendly and very helpful and great music. Definitely worth a visit.

Burger was soggy. Drought beer sold only in 0.2or 0.3 l glasses which becomes warm before two sips.

Genuinely the best burger I’ve ever had. Fresh minced steak, no breadcrumbs or additives. Enormous portions. If you’re used to USA standards, ask for well done as standard comes slightly rare in the middle. Fantastic food & service.

Note, the restaurant is inside the hotel if you're as lost as we were. The food was all excellent and the ambience was inviting. No complaints in these areas. The only issues we had were in the area of service. The kitchen was clearly not ready to receive orders from a group of 9 as one of us was left waiting g for their meal for 10 minutes after everyone else started eating. This isn't necessarily the fault of the restaurant, however I would not recommend coming with large groups. Unfortunately, some of our orders were incorrect or downright missing. Once again this isn't necessarily the fault of the restaurant as there was only one waiter who spoke fluent English. We can't expect people to offer English service everywhere, however it did cause some friction. The staff were completely apologetic for the mistakes and we received an extra meal on the house to make up for it. Despite the language barrier, staff were still extremely helpful and attentive. Overall, I cannot fault the staff or the establishment for the inconveniences we experienced. I would happily recommend Green Smoke to any small-medium groups looking for high quality American style food.

Service was very attentive when I arrived because it was early. As soon as a few other parties showed up, waiters stopped making eye contact. Maybe they don’t have enough help. It was like hailing a taxi at rush hour. Food was pretty good.

Horrible experience. Worst service i have ever encounterd. Food took over an hour to get. Slow ordning and just terrible costumer service. Dont eat at this place. There is so many other nice restaurants to visit in this city!

Great tasting food, attentive staff, and a great range of drinks.

Parts of the staff were downright rude. However, I have nothing bad to say about the female waiters.

As my main meal, I had the chicken, though the portions were small, the chicken was well seasoned. For my two sides, i had the Mac& cheese and the sweet potato fries. If I have to be honest, the mac and cheese was a bit underwhelming. It didn’t taste like cheese and a bit watery. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were some of the best fries i had. It was warm and well seasoned and overall delicious.
