I can recommend it to try only once. If you wish to try Authentic Indian Biryani, I suggest NOT to order Biryani. Biryani dishes are NOT at all good. The other time I ordered: roti and vegetarian curry, they were good. Mango lassi is also good. Very near (two minute walk)to bus number 141 and 143. Cash and card payment, both are accepted. Outside seating available. Staff are good and nice. Online ordering is possible.

The food was just okay. Not really great for a 4.6 star rating

Pathetic experience when it comes to ordering food. Placed the order at 7PM and no sight of food for over two hours. We waited and waited. Tried calling the restaurant, but either the phone is not answered or the call is very conveniently cut from their side. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL behaviour. I am writing this review at 22:11 hours and still no food. Just hope I can get my money back.

Today I had my dinner at Swad restaurant, we had chicken biryani. It was really very good. Last time I had this kind of biryani in Hyderabad. Really recommend to try chicken biryani.

Everything was simply delicious!

Got the assorted appetizer (samosa, aloo, pakora) and it didn’t taste very fresh, ended up leaving it mostly uneaten. Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala main dishes were pretty good. Unfortunately they don’t take cards in person so had to leave the restaurant to find an ATM. This is partly my mistake for not having cash with me, but they have an online ordering system so I do think it’s a little unreasonable to not accept cards while dining in.

Food was really good.. Plus Points: -Big size Naan - curry quantity good for two - welcoming attitude of the staff(hard to get in Köln) - Compact outside space for Summers Minus point: -Lassi was tooooo sweet :) Happy to visit again

We did a take away of the Biryani and Chicken Curry. The food was amazing and the quantity was apt for the price. Would definitely recommend this place for good authentic Indian food.

Good service and fair prices

New up and coming place. Had it for 2-3 times now, and it is pretty good. I am no expert, but I do think a few tweaks here and there would go a long way. Biriyani is ok, Gravy's are really good, recommend the Chicken Korma, and samosas are really nice here. The chutneys are authentic. Easier to have it delivered rather than pickup (unless you have a car) as it is really in the inside, little less accessible. Buses are ofcourse available but timings can be finicky. I recommend this place, hope they widen their delivery parameter, willing to pay the delivery costs 😃

Food is really good, but it took loooong time for it to come the to the table, which was surprising because we used to order from here by Lieferando and it was always quick. Recommended for delivery, don't go for a dine in.
