😠 One of the worst experience I had in a Marriott company hotel. Very rude staff (except from Johanna who was very helpful during my stay). The last night of my reservation around 9:50 pm a very rude and aggressive crew member came knocking like a maniac demanding we open the door, for safety reasons... People often mention hotel, staff, nice, room, night, rooms, lobby, coffee, clean, location,

One of the worst experience I had in a Marriott company hotel. Very rude staff (except from Johanna who was very helpful during my stay). The last night of my reservation around 9:50 pm a very rude and aggressive crew member came knocking like a maniac demanding we open the door, for safety reasons I didn't open so he threatened to call the police which I said yes do it, since there was no phone in the room to contact the lobby I tried to chat via the app because I didn't want lo leave my room for safety reasons and we never got an answer, around 10 pm another 2 crew members came to our door to say it was a misunderstanding about some stolen luggage that was found, never the less it was highly inappropriate for the staff to agressivly come to our room at that hour and wake us up yelling to open the door. I REALLY DON'T RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Rooms are fine (except for the sliding door on the bathroom - not ideal for privacy), location is OK (yet quite far from the center), but the service is totally pathetic. I was having issues with the coffee machine during breakfast and there was no staff around, so I started eating. When I wanted to get a coffee after I finished my food, the lady I asked for coffee rudely snapped that it's past breakfast time and she won't serve me (it was 2 minutes after...). But you don't go to Germany for a nice customer service, so...

The heating / air conditioned system is a bad joke. Shame on the engeneer that designed such a terrible thing and on Marriott group for not doing anything to remediate it. As explained by other guests, the system blows cold air straight to your face. All night like this, while trying to get some sleep. Staff cannot stop this annoying problem. And they confirmed it is a recurring complaint raised by plenty of people. A sort of design mistake. Solution kingly proposed? To stick something to cover the air outlet grille. So I had to stick with tape some plastic bags to the grille. Regardless other positive things from the hotel, this issue brings my rating to this well deserved 1-star.

Pro: - friendly staff - normal breakfast - clean Cons: - no warm water for shower. Apparently the hotel was "fully" booked and the equipment can not handle that many shower takers. Also not at 11:45pm nor 6:30 am. - frustrated, loudly arguing guests (the aforementioned warm water problem) kind of spoiling the breakfast atmosphere - staff only speaks English. Come on, we are in Germany, learn our language, be part of the nation and culture. Language is the key. - hotel is more like a "hip" place, drunken and wavering some 20-year´s old are crossing your pathways and hanging around at the bar - it is a new hotel (opened September 2022), more "cold" and not "warm" - air conditioning is not able to switch off, cold and noisy during the night, I had to use ear plugs, sleeping clothes and socks - a HUGE tv screenis dominating the room, really it is HUGE; bigger is not always better... a big black mirror staring at you

I recently stayed here for 3 nights. The lobby floor and the rooms are designed well and are comfortable. However, 1. the rooms are very small 2. lacks basic amenities like hot water kettle, phone to contact the reception, cups, spoons. 3. Lacks daily housekeeping. You need to inform the previous day for cleaning and linen change. 4. Air-conditioning doesn't work at night. I couldn't sleep because it was so hot and the reception said they aren't allowed to keep the air-conditioning turned on at night. 5. The front desk cannot handle the guests and there was always a queue for check-in check-out during peak hours. Only one person was handling it. We almost missed our train because of the rush. 6. Location is far from city centre.

the hotel has a cute theme. But, the room didn’t have coffee machine, or a fridge or an iron or even a phone to call the restaurant or the reception!!!

Great location if you want to go to a concert. Most of the concert locations are in walking distance. Bar was very busy on a Saturday night, which is expected but also they would not serve cocktails anymore. Not the worst but would have been nice after the concert 😁

It's not your typical hotel but in a good way. Very similar to aLoft back in the states, where the lobby is more casual and used for lounging and entertainment. Great place to stay although not in the best location although there are plenty of options for public transport. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and if you're into Turkish fares there are plenty of them a couple blocks away. Would definitely come back when in Cologne.

The hotel is beautiful but the service is absolutely tragic. I forgot my keys in the room and for 3 DAYS I was trying to reach them but nothing. Unacceptable. Plus, the location is not convenient since it is a 20 minute car ride from the center of Köln. However the rooms were nice and clean.

Sloppy service n rude staff at the front desk. Don't clean the rooms even if reminded multiple times and careless attitude if you complain.. Far better hotels nearby at reasonable rates with better behavior of staff available.

one of the best hotels I've been in for a pretty good price! the people here are extremely nice :), and if you're here for a concert at E-werk it's a perfect location to stay! it's only 5 minutes away and there's restaurants/bars right near the hotel too!

Fairly nice hotel. Ideal when attending a concert in the Palladium. Rooms are very nice and modern. Not too big, but for one night, it didn't bother me. Breakfast was €15, there was not alot of variety, but the most basic rood was there. A shame its parking is way to small. Luckily there's plenty of parking possibilities in the vicinity. The people working behind the bar however are very slow and definitely do not enjoy their work, not friendly. Reception was friendly though.

Probably the coolest hotel I've ever stayed in. Chose it because it was close to the concert venue.(Went to see Boygenius, it was magical.) The hotel has a lobby combined with a bar that is open 24/7. The staff is very friendly and always helpful, they even cut the pizza for us that we got delivered. The rooms are very nice and clean. There's also a half decent gym, lockers in the main lobby and some coloring books, games and guitar in the chill out area.

Trendy place but the checkin was painfully long . They were filling all details manually in a form even though I made a booking online with all details filled. Checkin is at 3pm and the queue was long, and please speed up the checkin process . Room was decent and small . This hotel is one of the few ones with checkout time around noon .

The hotel is industrial/modern vibes, very different style than other Marriott hotels. The room is chic, but no mini fridge, kettle, coffee, tea stuff in the room. But they offer coffee/tea at the lobby. They have parking lot underground, 18 euro a day. There is some restaurants near by, walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, I had a very negative experience. The treatment I received from the staff was poor and I did not feel valued as a guest. Furthermore, the security of the hotel was questionable as I lost my wallet containing over €1500 and despite being initially informed that it was found, the story changed and I was told it had not been located.

This hotel is fantastic. The enterior is really modern and beautiful. I love this style! The staff is nice, thanks for their help, I'm grateful. Recommend! 💖

It’s so good here. And the best thing is price cannot be compared with other hotels in the same category. Kudos to the team too!

A nice swanky hotel that I'd certainly recommend with a few caveats. The staff are very friendly, and the interior is excellent, everything is brand new and comfortable. It is however quite a way out of the city, amidst a lot of construction. Every time we went to the tram, it was about a 15 minute wait and then around half an hour into the centre. There's also no phone in the room and we were unable to call reception so had to go all the way down to the ground floor for anything. For us the lower price was worth being outside the city, make that same judgement for yourself but this a nice hotel for sure.

I had the worst possible travel experience with my airlines! I had been traveling from America for 2 days and still hadn’t made it to my destination, I was put in this hotel to wait for my new flight. Thomas the bartender was so helpful, nice and professional! His conversation made me feel so comfortable in the uncomfortable situation I was in! The waitress and the chef made sure I had food and Thomas made sure I had an amazing drink that I felt was much deserved! After my flight experiences I didn’t think I would be able to have a good night at all but these guys were so amazing they changed my entire mood! I’ll never forget it !

Limited parking space (below 20) available at B1, but room is rather spacious. 5 mins walk to tram, can be 1 min when nearby construction is finished. The design and atmosphere is good, industrial and comfy. Trams can burying you to nearby downtown easily. Might be a pocket list for me if I come for leisure purposes.

Good Location. Breakfast is bad. The rooms responsive so you hear everything your neighbors are doing. Never again this hotel

Very good value for money. Except for any kind of closet:)) the rest was perfect. The entry, hallway and reception is totally different than the regular ones but very cozy and comfortable!

Moxy Cologne Mulheim hotel was a nice choice for my trip to Cologne. The hotel had a modern and stylish lobby, and a cozy and spacious sleeping room. The staffs were very kind and attentive. The location was not in the city center, but it was easy to get there by tram in 20 minutes. There was a tram station and an ALDI supermarket within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. I appreciated the welcome drink that greeted me when I arrived. They also let me check-in early upon arrival, which was very convenient.

The hotel and amenities were very nice and clean. However, the breakfast wasn't worth its value and the staff was unfriendly, which was the biggest drawback of the place.

Great rooms. I would've liked to give a higher rating, unfortunately, not only me but also my colleague both received rooms that were already occupied. As in, I was in a room alone with someone else's stuff. What an absolute no-go! Really makes you worry about your own stuff, or if someone will just barge in in the middle of the night. The fact that it happened twice within ten minutes does not bode well. Avoid if you can!

The hotel itself was lovely. Modern, clean, and enjoyable to stay in. That said, the staff (especially the food service staff were unpleasant and unhelpful). Really left us feeling like an inconvenience anytime we asked for anything.

Very beautiful and comfy lounge. If you are used to studying or working in hotel lounges like I am, this is not the place to go. Only actual hotel guests that pay are welcome to the lounge, hence only 3 stars. I came and left right away :) Craving the drink I was hoping for now

The staff was very nice, the hotel was clean and beautiful inside. Loved the modern design and there is a lot of spots to take your picture. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable but there was no coffee machine or phone inside the room. We loved our stay and will be back again.

👍👍 An incredible place with a great collection of cars to buy and admire. It is completely free to enter something that absolutely blew my mind considering it houses the Michael Schumacher Private collection museum.
