👍👍 I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The standout dish for me was the Carnitas tacos. They were simply delicious, with perfectly cooked and seasoned pork, fresh cilantro, and onions all nestled in a warm, soft tortilla. I could have easily eaten another round! In addition to the fantastic food,... People often mention tacos, good, nice, friendly, great, service, Mexican, menu, water, Great,

I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The standout dish for me was the Carnitas tacos. They were simply delicious, with perfectly cooked and seasoned pork, fresh cilantro, and onions all nestled in a warm, soft tortilla. I could have easily eaten another round! In addition to the fantastic food, I also tried the micheladas and they did not disappoint. The mix of beer, lime juice, and spices was refreshing and flavorful, and a perfect complement to my tacos. I highly recommend giving them a try. The service was also top-notch. The people working here is friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. The vibrant decor and music made you feel like you were in Mexico.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles with access to amazing Mexican food and have spent a lot of time in Mexico… so it’s really exciting to find a place in Köln that makes authentic tacos. Service at the newly opened tacqueria restaurant was slow and not well organized (they opened about a week ago and are still working out the system), prices are on the higher end, but the flavor and authenticity are worth it. Three house sauces are on the table to enjoy unlimited— mango, roja and verde. Tortilla chips and avocado based salsa provided to snack on as we waited 30 minutes for our 12 tacos to arrive (Bistek, carnitas and al pastor). All tacos were well seasoned with a sufficient amount of meat that was juicy. Corn tortillas delicious. It was a good amount of food for two very hungry people for about 40€ including a large bottle of sparkling water. Prime location on the water with outdoor and indoor seating. Margaritas looked awesome. Overall, this place has great potential and we will be back to see how service improves.

Great place for fresh and tasty tacos and quesadillas! The drinks menu is also extensive, so plenty to choose from. They messed up our order, giving us way too many vegetarian platters. But overall the waiters and waitresses were friendly and patient with a big group on a busy night.

Delicious dishes with the original flavour, amazing tacos. The drinks were also very nice and the service was friendly. The prices are a little high but worth the visit!

The food here is amazing. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! They also have great vegetarian and vegan options which is great. The interior is cool and very colourful with good music playing. The staff are super friendly which was really nice. They gave us a jug of tap water when we asked for it but they wouldn’t refill it - told us we had to buy a bottle of water. The water cost €5.70 which is an absolute disgrace. Apart from the water, it’s good value for money and I would return!

Great Mexican in Cologne. We had Birria and Pollo pibil. It looked small in the beginning, and my partner was ready to order another dish, but after eating (I only ate 3), there was no room for more food. The meats were soft and falling apart, everything was full of flavor and so tasty! The staff were very nice and welcoming. A big plus for a quick as a lightning service. We came in hungry and got our dishes within a few min, and the place was kinda full inside. Highly recommended!

This was by far the best Mexican restaurant I found in Europe! The food was amazing and all my mexican memories came back to me. The chile was real mexican no tex mex but the same . Spicy and delicious. Thank you so much. Service was very good as well. I wish this place was in the netherlands, i would come at least every week

The restaurant is nicely situated with a great atmosphere and friendly appearance. The food is very tasty with lots of vegetarian options. We were in a group of 6 and ordered 3 dishes from the special menu (shared) and this was more than enough food for us. The food in my opinion is priced well for the quality of food received. When I visited the food and drinks came quickly and the waiters were all very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of plates. We ordered the dishes to be shared but didn’t receive smaller plates to actually eat from. We used the very thick napkins as plates instead but I think plates would be a great addition

I lived in Mexico and I know my tacos. Tacos look legit but to be honest the tortilla was like plastic and cold. Also the Birria taco was dry and needed more salt. Plus points is that they had different sauces and sauces are important for tacos. It was yes a bit pricey. 🍺 Michelada was good but also pricey. 🌮 Overall they could do better, i wouldn’t come again!

Probably the closest thing to real tacos you’ll get in Cologne! Various tasty vegetarian options as well, staff is nice and ambiance feels quite Mexican with the music and decor. Kudos for not having to pay extra for salsa like other Mexican restaurants here, I’m looking at you Casita Mexicana!

I was more than disappointed 😥. Maybe I had a bad day but I didn't like the food at all. Everything was so oily or fettig as we say it in German. No innovation and the taste of the dishes were not comparable to casita mexicana. Instead of cheddar, the buriottos were with gouda and the tacos were not good at all. Above that, it was so loud 🔊. I really wished that I had a better experience.

Here shines the sun even when it’s all cloudy and rainy outside. 1. Great food, 2. Great drinks, 3. Great service. Great representation of Mexico. PS.: there’s no place in Germany can compete. No Hamburg, no Berlin, no Frankfurt, no Munich. We tried them all and Los Carnales are the best 👌👌👌

Was there in the summer and it was great, we went back this week and it was a letdown. Food made “without love”, and way too expensive for the portions. I understand inflation and higher taxes since january but there is a limit, i dont feel the prices are justificed even taken into consideration inflation and higher vat. Ordering was also a bit of an issue, we had to get the attention of the waiting staff. We didnt get enough cutlery and napkins for the table, we had to stand up and get them from other tables. We would have told the waiting staff but they were not very present. Individual cocktails were good but the pitcher was a ripoff, almost no alcohol and just sweet. Place looks nice and it has a great outdoor area for the summer but i wont eat here again.

We waited a lot to have our orders taken on a Sunday afternoon, minding it wasn't that busy. The meat on the tacos was dry, thankfully they had 3 salsas to save the day. The ambiance is nice and the service as well (when they do come), but I must say I was expecting more, especially after hearing from so many people how great this place is. Taste wise it was okay, but I'm not sure if I'd consider eating there any time soon.

Food is delicious, service is also very kind. Location and atmosphere is amazing. However, I found it slightly overpriced since prices are on average to high and the portions are small to medium and a kinda limited menu (only tacos and quesadillas). Drinks and cocktails are nice.

We went only for a drink, but after trying their nachos, we decided to have dinner. It was totally worthy. They have this vegetarian Quesadillas which are great, the guacamole was super and Micheladas are something that if you try to taste a completly new drink are a good option. The waitress was very nice and there is also another one, which I think is the chef, that speaks spanish and made sure that we were having a good time. I totally recommend this place, good food, good view

Nice franchise concept, that went from a food truck to a fancy restaurant. I had some different tacos combination, they come with side of sauces, rice, guacamole and black beans. The ambient is welcoming and hyped, the service is friendly. The price is middle range (for a thematic restaurant). They have tables outside, wich look very good but when i visited it was windy, so i stayed inside. The tacos tasted very good, the portions are rather small for the price, but the experience in general was nice. I woudln't rate it as top of the league, but i might visit again.

We’re lucky to get a table on weekday evening. Service was very friendly and food was quick to arrive. We ordered each person a taco plate. It came with what looks like a complimentary spicy sauces which was very nice. Unfortunately for the price of 14€ per plate, food was good but not wow and the portions were very small. The vegetarian tacos tasted almost like nothing. Sadly, we would not return.

In general a really lovely and unique place for cologne! The outside and inside areas are beautiful! Food is all in all tasty, but not too special. Especially if you have tried real Mexican street food before. Salsas could have a bit more taste. Anyways, I don’t wanna complain too much, since it’s one of the better taco places in Germany. In terms of the prices, everything is a bit more expensive it still okay.😊 Service is friendly and very international which I personally liked a lot.

Best Tacos in Köln! Have been 3x now and as a California native, I can say with confidence that you'd be hard pressed to find better anywhere around...and we've tried a few! For more menu options, I would recommend coming for dinner, as the lunch menu is more limited. You can also reserve tables online... would definitely recommend reservations for dinner, especially if you have a large group, or if you're not a fan of high-top tables (there is a small check-box which is easy to miss). Margaritas were also excellent!

Half of the taco menu is vegan, we ordered the taquiza veggie menu, which is perfect to share, and is a delicious vegan variety of typical Mexican tacos. The view of the Rhine on the terrace was also very good.
