I was very happy that after years a new restaurant was finally opening in the beautiful restaurant on the corner. But the gourmet bar still has to find its way. The map has no real central theme. The tapas on offer include everything from Asian to Italian to KFC style fried chicken. Unfortunately the mix isn't really convincing. The bao were not steamed but baked until golden brown. Then it's actually just a burger. In terms of taste, I would describe the dishes we tried as simple. At the next table there was fried cauliflower with a piece of fried chicken in between. The vegetarian guest wasn't that happy. The kitchen doesn't send by receipt/table but simply what is ready. So we and our neighboring tables got one dish and waited 30 minutes for the rest. When it comes to tapas, you can also order something later. This is currently not working due to the waiting time. Drinks were also picked up and forgotten several times by the service. Here everyone serves every table, which also causes confusion among the service staff. I hope the Genussbar gets over these teething problems. I'll happily try it again in a few weeks!

Nice shop with potential. The owner is nice and open-minded and exchanges ideas with his guests. The dishes don't focus on a specific cuisine, they are simply small dishes/tapas. The food was delicious, some very tasty, some okay. A dish had to be remade, but this happened without any problems. Unfortunately, there is no day ticket, which makes future visits a little less interesting than if you could be surprised by something new every day or week. The ambience has clear potential. The lighting is very cozy. The walls are still quite bare and details such as a wardrobe or pictures are missing. The menu is a simple DIN A4 sheet from the printer. It's just not much fun when choosing dishes, but it's useful. The noises from the cellar from the hand dryers, which interrupt the atmosphere in the guest room, are really disturbing. The wine and beer were delicious and at the end there was even an espresso martini shot from the boss on the house, which rounded off a good evening.

We had a lovely evening here. The selection of drinks is great and varied.🥂 However, there are a few points that weren't convincing: We (all three) had the feeling of forcing ourselves on the waiter and always had to draw attention to ourselves, even though we were sitting near the bar. Unfortunately it wasn't a hospitable experience. All dishes were delicious! However, most prices are too high, especially for some, quite small portions. You should be prepared to spend a lot of money. It would be more appropriate to come here for a drink and a small snack. There were only four tables occupied in the restaurant and the volume was already very high. You should be prepared for that :)

I really liked the gourmet bar. The food is super varied and delicious. The drinks are amazing and I think the outdoor area at Lenau Platz is great. Above all, very comfortable seats

Sehr leckere Tapas, tolles Team und angenehme Atmosphäre. Tolle Lage und nette Aussenterrasse, direkt am Lenauplatz mit Abendsonne. Kann ich nur empfehlen ☀️

Sehr schöner Ort, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist recht edel zubereitet, Preis ist aber trotzdem in Ordnung. Dadurch leidet aber die Portionsgröße etwas. Bin persönlich nicht satt geworden. Ist eher was für den kleinen Hunger und was zu trinken.

Top location right on Lenauplatz, we were lucky enough to have space outside on a warm late summer evening when we were here. But the interior also looks very comfortable. The food is so delicious that I'm already planning my next visit here! ;-)

It didn't convince us. The food was only lukewarm or almost cold and the dip for the fried cauliflower was less than a teaspoon. The taste is also not convincing, rather simple small dishes that are disproportionate to the relatively high price. It was a try, but it doesn't warrant repeating.

I absolutely love it here. The music is pleasant and fits the overall ambience. The food is high quality and special and the aperitifs are great. I now come regularly and can recommend it to everyone for a lovely evening with good food and great drinks.

Super great new restaurant. The Mediterranean food in small bowls is incredibly good. You want to describe everything individually, but there isn't enough time for that. The service was also very good and friendly. My new favorite restaurant in Ehrenfeld.

Rediscovered today. Super nice restaurant, great ambience, delicious tapas, selection of drinks. Very very nice service. Prices are reasonable for what is on offer, not too expensive.

Perfektes Geburtstagsessen... Abends in dee sinne mit blick auf den lenauplatz.. Essen verschiedene tapas sehr lecker.. Frittierte blumenkohl und die Bao mit champignons top.. Peters kölsch könnte 1bis2 grad kälter sein... Service sehr angenehm.. Gabi is n nettes kölsches mädel aus ihrefeld.. Viel erfolg.

Freundliche Bedienung, die Terrasse ist sehr angenehm, um mit Freunden Cocktails und Tapas zu genießen. Ich empfehle Hähnchenbruststreifen auf Salat und Ceviche. Ich werde wiederkommen.

Das Essen war super lecker, gute Portionen zum teilen! Die Drinks waren auch super und das Personal war total freundlich!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Das Essen ist einfallsreich und sehr gut gewesen. Der Service super nett und aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das war leider nix, das Essen war fast kalt, sehr teuer, sehr wenig und auch nicht besonders gut. Die Steakstreifen und Hähnchenspiess waren absolut zäh. Schade. 1 Stern für das Ambiente, der Kellner war ziemlich überheblich.

The service is great. The advice on putting together the food is just great and it tastes very, very tasty 😋. To melt away. Gaby, the nice service person, really wants to get us so fed up. Just great.
