Awesome place for breakfast or brunch. For coffee you can choose white or dark espresso beans, both taste individually good. The breakfast tastes as good as it looks. Overall friendly and helpful waiter. Atmosphere is very clean and hip. Prices are totally reasonable.

What a treasure of a cafe. Very nicely decorated, sort of Scandinavian feel with a very cosy atmosphere. Really good coffee (flat whites are nice and strong), freshly prepared food which is delicious and presented beautifully, plus it’s different from what other cafés offer, which is a welcome change. Close to Ebertplatz but in a quieter side street which is more relaxing. Highly recommended. Update from 31.10.23 I love the flat white coffee at Goldzeit, but today I tried two different teas, both of which were delicious. Usually I avoid ordering tea at cafes as it’s a standard bag in a cup type situation, nothing special, but the teas here are chosen with care and include unusual blends which are beautifully balanced and flavoursome, none of the unpleasant fake aroma flavour at all. I tried Glückstee Goji-Cranberry which I could happily drink all day, and Dattelzauber which was gently sweet and fragrant - both worth trying. Just more evidence of how lovely this café is, everything is made with so much care and attention to detail.

Good from price, good coffee and good cakes, but no toilet which is a little strange these days. Also the only reason for the 4 stars. Service was otherwise smooth and very friendly.

Große Auswahl an super leckeren Kuchen. Habe hier jetzt schon öfters einen gegessen. Espresso und vor allem der Cappuccino sind wirklich Spitze! Dazu sehr nett eingerichtet. Komme immer wieder gerne.

Super süßes Café mit sehr freundlichem Team! Wir haben spontan über Google-Chat nach Platz für 9 Personen gefragt und es wurde sehr schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Haben sogar beim Warten noch einen Granatapfel-Tee aufs Haus bekommen! Essen und Getränke waren sehr lecker, preislich günstig und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Würde ich immer wieder besuchen, wenn ich in Köln unterwegs bin :)

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom Café Goldzeit im Agnesviertel! Schon beim Betreten spürt man die herzliche und einladende Atmosphäre, die dieses Café so besonders macht. Der Inhaber und das Team hinter der Theke sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Was den Kaffee betrifft, so ist er einfach himmlisch! Man merkt, dass hier ein wahrer Kaffeekenner am Werk ist. Der Inhaber legt großen Wert auf Qualität und wählt seine Bohnen sorgfältig aus. Hier gibt es keine Massenware von Mainstream-Röstereien, sondern handverlesene Qualität. Auch das Ambiente trägt seinen Teil zum Gesamterlebnis bei. Das Café Goldzeit ist relativ klein, aber sehr stilvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist wirklich eine Bereicherung für das Viertel und ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, hier vorbeizuschauen.
